I have played this in ocg for lots of months.
I'm glad that I can play it in MD too!
The basic combo is Shinonome+any level 6(or higher) Vaylantz monster=Naturia Exterio+apollousa with 4 materials+Mamonaka.
We usually search for Konig Wissen instead of Shinra Bansho with The Place of Beginning.
Because we usually pop it with Electrumite by ourselves,
and we have a high chance to have Shinra Bansho to use in the next turn.
If you want to go second or prevent that you get going second,
you can use lava golem (usually we put it in the side deck, because of BO3).
Because we don't need any normal summon when we want to OTK in the second turn.
You can also use Magicians' Souls to help you deal with the Konig Wissen.
But it's not very useful when you didn't get it in your starting hand so it's not very that important though.

I agree with the guy, who even is excited for Vaylantz? The only people that would know them beforehand are the TCG/OCG players. And if you are one, there’s no way you would be hyped for this convoluted deck with low ceiling.
Unless you’re talking about MD only players that were dazzled by the artwork somehow.

Overshadowed by too many other decks when released in tcg unfortunately. This would have been the perfect release if the search spell had been released with this as well but small world works as a solid substitute
Few ppl. Mostly people pushing content. Tombox pushed a profile and combo guide. It was actually pretty good.

dkayed is not even playing a Vaylantz deck, hes literally just using an endymion deck with a shitty Vaylantz engine, there is no convincing way this deck can even function without endymion cards.
and even then this deck just performs worse than pure endymions, with all of their 5 cards combos
I love this deck so much I run damn near pure except for avermax, electrum, and beyond the pendulum. For the non main deck monster it's just classikuribo as a scale 8
since im unable to buy gems and what not it would take me forever to make a deck like this. love your vids, to just come up with a deck that you have never played with before and use it like you did is awesome. Thank you for Master Duel Meta btw.
This has been my favorite deck irl since TAMA released. I play a going second version. I win most of my games with Borrelsword Dragon
I would love to see more on this deck as you get better with it

@@Giokio_ Honestly, you don't need Electrumite. It's cool if you have it. BTP is necessary. The UR fusion is not needed. If you don't already have Cyber-Stein, I dont know what youre doing. And the FS. The 2 copies are for those who know how to recover lol otherwise. They're bricks and can be replaced with a Pot of [xx] or something you're more familiar with.
I recently played my most beautiful match against Chaos with this archetype, to be honest i only clicked Yellow borded cards and activated their effect
you also want to put the vaylant on the opposite side of beyond the pendulum so you have enough space to move stuff around.

the archer has a good coin flip effect but sucks when you go first plays.
Vaylantz is legitimately the hardest Deck to learn, but it's also pretty strong once you get a hang of its advantages. For starters, it's really good at baiting your opponent's responses.
Anyways, the best way to play Vaylantz is through a Going Second build. The deck is really good at OTKing once you realize that generic scales that are 7 or higher adds a lot of consistency to getting game on board. Pendulum Paradox is probably the most important combo extender in the Deck, as all Vaylantz maindeck monsters are Scale 1. Ending on a board of Accesscode Talker and Grand Duke is usually enough to win you the game provided you trigger Grand Duke's effect
Ye, as for me, I’m playing the 60-pile jank version of the deck that include an Invoked engine and quite a bit of going second card. I use the Normal Summon Aleister to bait an ash, then do my Vaylantz play like usual
This is my intro pend deck, at a reasonable price. Was going to get SolFaChord but atleast Vaylantz can get me wins at a locals.
Also don't forget that there is a 99.9% chance you opponents will have no idea what you doing so negating the correct thing is almost impossible.
@@elcangridelanime I must have met the remaining 0.01% then lol. In my experience, you need your hand to be cracked AF to eat through interaction, since most of your combo rely on 2 card at least, 3 if you open up shit.
Mixed vayl with solfachord and they mix well.

You know what is best about this deck. It dies to every hand trap in the game.
My biggest gripe with pendulum decks is their lack of thier own end board monsters. They have vortex and z arc (which outside of cheating it out with the trap barely counts.) So yeah they can get any boss link monsters out or high level xyz or synchros but not much within pendulum synergy. Dracoslayers are okay too.
Each Pendulum Deck has their own end board Boss Monsters. It’s just easier to use generic ones in competative.
@@mrbubbles6468 true but in comparison pendulum boss monsters are kind of weak. I guess other spammy decks like zodiacs have the same issue but this pretty much goes for the whole card type.

big brain deck
just played against this. naturio negated my spells and traps, apollousa negated my monsters. All 6 of my cards got negated. fun and interactive gameplay...

it's kind hard to play deck like this in master duel right now, because the time limit only 300 sec, i played dragon link it took me almost 200 sec just for combo, i even don't have time to think next step or even read opponent card effect, and on my second turn, it only add more like 90 sec, it's just hard to play with that amount of time, 🙃.. solution? just play floonderwezw, eldlich, or kaiju, don't play hard deck that have lot way to build your end board...

This deck shouldn't have any URs with how bad it is. Boss monsters do nothing, main deck monsters are borderline good, the field spells are only decent that becomes terrible if you leave them up during your opponent's turn because they can also use it, more effectively if they are going 2nd. I wanted this deck to be good because its inspired by Fire emblem but it's just not especially in the tcg since we don't have electrumite.
