WTF i just released a video today where i do a breakdown of the Mayakashi deck and I show the last replay in the ladder I was like I don't know who is my opponent and he play a similar deck but In fact it was you haha. It was a good "Mirror match" with the mayakashi winter being clutch.
Really funny to see your match from both perspectives.
Mayakashi is interesting, they take up a lot of extra deck space in Zombie piles and lock out most other forms of special summoning so you really need to use support cards that don't rely on the extra deck. Eldlich is perfect for this as demonstrated, their only in-archetype Extra Deck option is a Fusion monster they rarely go into.
If the eldlich fusion somehow gets on board, the game is problably over

@@adamluthfie7 i beg to differ, I get it running the continuous spell is indeed a brick, super poly combo with zombie world is an amazing choice using the opponents monsters while ZW Is on board is great for outing certain threats
@@AlensioRedux yeah sure use 4 cards to make 1 card viable sounds perfectly fine to me. Plus mad golden lord needing level 5+ monster means you can't even use your 4 card "combo" against link/synchro/xyz decks which is like 90% of the decks except despia so I can imagine the strong synergy you gonna get against all the blue eyes players you gonna get.
@@quackduckquack you can say the same for any other card in the game. Like floo, despia, and even sprite. You cannot invalidate usage because you don’t like it.

@@knowsage2429 it is relevant because of the new card...but to maneuver the deck, need high skill.
and when i say high skill, meaning you know how to dodge handstrap and negate.
But in MD, this is easy since most player only know popular meta deck. thus, they usually don't know what card to negate against unpopular deck like this.
@@adamluthfie7 you just need to read, I found this deck while I was using a Train OTK, I negated the Majun twice and they just resigned once I had a 6k/6k on the field and he had nothing.

It's a Makayashi deck. It's not a big boss deck like Spright, Runick, Swordsoul, Branded/Despia, or any variant with the Ishizu cards. So, it makes perfect sense to floodgate the top tier fools.
Mayakashi even lock out the extra deck so no one could run any other generic boss / support monster.. Certainly not the best deck but ita fun to play. I hope more card will be released on the future as the lore still in the process AFAIK.
Spright is not a big boss deck though.

Somehow got decked out by someone using this, while I had multiple disruptions. Now I hate this deck.
Seeing Mayakashi burn through so many negates + Nibiru + Maxx C is so satisfying but darn, the combo is too long that it reminds me of Adamancipator.
it is not long at all it has no real RNG like adamancipator all you do is click through the summoning animations and you should be done in like a minute if nothing is disrupting you lol
never understood why people say this about them, I mean they do summon a lot but it basically comes down to synchro summon -> resummon the girl -> synchro summon again -> resummon the girl again -> repeat until you climb to the top, and then link climb, if you have atleast 3 braincells you should be able to do it decently quickly as it is very linear

@@-MementoMori- thats anegdotal evidence, the fact of the matter is they have one of the more linear combos meaning any person with normal IQ shouldnt take too long witj them, unlike some other decks that have multiple complex lines where it is understandable why they take long

Awesome to see you playing this under loved deck type. I played a ton of Mayakashi on master duel's release but they got power crept hard so I haven't played them in a while, looking forward to trying out the new support. Zombies are so close to being good, they just need more gas in the tank to play through negates.
They hard-counter Maxx "C" though, which often is the case where the opponent bite off more than they can chew. It's either you deck them out, or they try to out your board only to find out that Mayakashi are really persistent and then they lose on time because either they don't have the out despite drawing close to 50 cards, or that they lose on time when they can't discard their entire hand at End Phase fast enough.
Won against Tearlament Ishizu like this and **chef's kiss** it was pure evil.

I played against branded and they kind of bricked so they set passed. On my turn they used Maxx C so I proceeded to kill them with bone tower to deck them out!
Idk if thats safe to do while having Ishizu in the meta

what in gods name did i just watch ? im only just getting back into yu-gi-oh but my god has it changed and ive a heck of a lot to learn 😅 im watching your videos as a new Sub trying to work out what is going on and what all these new cards are about , im only just getting use to the shark deck then realised you actually uploaded a vid of them like 5 months ago , i mean i have managed to climb to silver rank 1 so not far off gold but these new special summons with link cards etc got me like huh😂

I play this IRL, 2 versions, the Bone Tower Mill and Pure (I dont use Zombie World engine) . Im playing Pure right now MD and im in Platinum with it so far
this is the type of shit that is mad annoying if there's two things Master Duel needs less of it's people playing on your turn and people abusing special summons to this extent to end on a floodgate
I agree but, this is modern Yu Gi Oh... Mayakashi's have been around for a long time and were never even considered good enough to be rougue, especially on their own. MD finally brings the new support (that came out the beginning of last year mind you so yeah... wayy late) and people start crying about it. FTKs, Floodgates, OTKs, etc have existed since the games inception. Not too many people play this deck so... yeah

U know it's always made me wonder but IP states you have to you cards you own to link. Yet u can Underworld Goddess. Which goes against IP's effect.
It is because of the Underworld Goddess effect, it's something like "you can use one of your opponent's monster to summon this monster"
@@Rodzario yeah but it shouldnt matter that underworld goddess can be summoned with a monster your opponent controls, since masquerena specifically states she link summons a monster using materials YOU control, you shouldn't be able to summon goddess with a material you don't control.
If IP said ONLY materials you control I think your interpretation is correct but because it doesn't lock you out of opponent's cards Underworld Goddess comes into play
the rules state you must always use your own cards to summon your own monsters. Card effects supersede the rules even when it comes to other card effects.
You know whenever is saw these two cards when it was release back in December i was glad and waiting for those two support cards in master duel since I been using zombie deck that's I made it's not very meta just for using for fun or whatever. And now i use them to utilize my deck in a way I guess since it's 60 card deck ik it's dumb lol but fun dumb deck I made.

I've been playing the Mayakashi + Bone Tower mill deck for a year now and also have Eldlich cards, but I never thought of combining the two
i might be a little bias, but i believe yuki onna is the most beautiful girl in yugi-oh, art style wise

Ngl, I don't like this deck at all. Cycling trough the whole extra deck like that takes too long. It's really annoying. Would be more acceptable if you could send them tall to the graveyard at once instead.
Yeah but then you wouldnt be able to summon them from the gy. But I get it. Its boring to play/watch it takes too long. And the most important thing is the artwork is wasted
@@Pkey995 The rules say they can't be special summoned from the graveyard. But if they were to be synchro/link summoned from the graveyard? Or if they went back to the extra deck to be special summoned right after.

I love playing a more Synchro zombie focused pile deck with eldlich as well. I have plenty of room in my extra deck for the link mayakashis as well and I made it to diamond 1 with them.

Because this floodgate is not good unless you're playing floo you can't play under this at all, and you also can't cosmic cyclone it since it's not a continuous trap like skill drain there's no way to play around it
Its an archetype trap card. You can ONLY play this in a Mayakashi or Shirinuai deck, not too many people play these decks so, deal lol. It aint getting hit. Didnt get hit in OCG or TCG either

I love mayakashi, but man does it hurt to see eldlich in it, too. It's a shame there isn't really a better maindeck solution for mayakashi, since I just don't care for eldlich at all.

You dont need Eldlich in this deck lol. This deck can run pure now. All you need is Small World, the new Mayakashi trap, a fuck ton of hand traps and Crossout Designator.

You don’t have to run full mayakashi to run the trap. You only need the level 6,9 or link 3 4. And can run a full zombie deck and have better boards plus that. Why lock yourself into only mayakashi and why take up 95% of your extra deck just to do that. ---a true diamond 1 zombie player.

Hey Dkayed, idk if you'll see this comment but I feel like you should put the name of the deck in the video title. I was planning to make a mayakashi deck and I remembered u had a video on it a couple days ago. However, I couldn't find it when I typed "dkayed mayakashi" because the name of the deck isn't in the title...now it wasn't an issue cuz it's 2 videos ago but down the line it would be hard to find and if I didn't know that u made a video to begin with I'd never find it, which is a bummer and makes me think of how many other decks I've built you made a video of but I couldn't find.
I know that it might not occur often as an issue and you're probably more interested in the immediate viewage the video gets but just a thought...u can still have the rest of ur title, just put the name of the deck there as well, imo.
