- magician of black chaos is one of my favorite og cards.. konami needs to show these og cards some love and support! but for now I made a deck that brings the best out of this card and its support!

Finally with "Illusion of Chaos" and "Timaeus" the deck of the Dark Magician starts to really scare... It's a pity that an iconic character like the Magician of Chaos is not taken into consideration by anyone.

Bruh, Magician of Chaos fits EASILY into any DM deck, because theres really no need to run 3 Illusions. Especially if you run Preparation of Rites. Personally, thanks to Preparation and Illusion, i run 2 illusions and 2 Rods, lightening the load without even breaking anything since youll very frequently pull 1 of the 3, and letting me use 1 of MoC, which again is all you need since it recycles so easily with Illusion.
Dark Magician of Chaos* is the one that doesnt really fit into the deck, which is a shame since its effects are so good, and as a beater, but, requires too many of him and his support that you need to basically build your deck around him to make him work.

@@cyanide7270 really if I already have rod I use it to grab MoC and I use the quick play to ritual him out asap because of how destructive he is with a circle lol banish and pop is hella effective against sprite

It's crazy that there are so many variations of Dark Magician decks that are actually viable, makes it difficult to choose which to play out of all of them. Thanks for showing how DMoC can run riot on these unsuspecting opponents
Ever since Illusion came out Magician of Chaos has been fun to use. Always good to see someone start their turn by wiping my board, getting Illusion out and negating the first monster effect I can and bringing back MoC especially if Circle is on field since I'll get to chain MoC's effect and pop a second card in addition to the banish.
Can you recommend what dark magician deck to climb in this season? Which is against spright, evil twin runnick etc

I'm running a pretty similar deck, but my extra deck has Number 11: Big Eye 👁️, which i always use when running a lot of level 7 monsters (take control of enemy monster, attack, go into Zeus), and Number 42: Galaxy Tomahawk, which can give you material for a lot of level 6 XYZ monsters (I'm using Number 25: Focus Force, negate effect of one enemy monster).
P.S. we need Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon!!!

Can I mix some of the Slifer cards into this from the previous deck video without weakening the structure of the deck?

Dark Magician of Chaos and Dark Sage were some of my favorite. I hope we get some cards inspired by those cards.
You could also do Magicians' souls + Magicians' Defense combo to summon him and get a draw at the same time. Set Magicians' defense and send it with souls after sending DmoC to grave.
You could also try Book of Moon if you don't want your DmoC to get banished since it only gets banished if it gets sent to the GY face up.
Also book of moon is great for dodging negates and also you can use it to help timaeus dodge negates since face down monsters can still be used for fusion.

Just circle the circle, then the opponent's circle won't activate because it'd get banished before its activation in the chain link order

yes.. thats why i love to make different decks.. we live in times that people just search top meta decks and play them like slaves.. no one plays what they love
@Atem Very true. I usually when I tried I got to platinum 1 with a blue eyes control deck. I have never gone to diamond. But usually when the season resets I play my version of the god cards because that's what makes me happy and last season all you saw in rank was spright and then exxosister.
@Atem I wish we had a ranked mode like legend anthology because like that it forces people to play other decks and not just spright or runic lol.
