I think zone lock is the worst mechanic because of it's potential like this and this isn't even with full power. Idk what Konami was thinking but it only gets worse I feel

The stark difference between Game 2 and Game 3 is something I've noticed about Kashtira in general: it's either Big win or Big brick. Without the second wave of support, Kashtira is coin flip (more generous than that) on whether you get a Tier 0 hand or a Bronze F Tier deck.
The strategy was always fragile. There are several outs to the lock and Ariseheart, you just have to draw one of them. it's just easy for them to come back so you have to beat them on turn 2.
Even with the support it can be bricky tbh. But it's also a 1 card combo if that card is unicorn. Lol. That's why prosperity is played at 3. Also, it's one of the reasons I dropped that deck. Ended up playing more combo based decks as they're more fun imo.
Things that Kashtira does that players hate: - Lock Monster Zones - Lock S/T Zones - Floodgate Pendulums - Banish the out prematurely - Deck out wincon - Banish FACEDOWN for some reason - No Hard OPT effects - Huge stats that are free to access - AN IN-ARCHETYPE HANDRIP Why did Konami make this deck again? What is the end game here? To make everybody hate the game?
What they should have done was have the Lock Zones be limited to just 3 spaces (max), and have Kashtira banish all the cards face up instead of down. They really want people to just waste their money smh
I left 1 zone for a guy running speedroid deck and he turned it around. Granted I was still new with the kashtira deck but holy shit watching the guy come back from 4 locked monster zones was amazing. I wasn't even mad I lost.

@mamamia5905 it's SR for a very good reason, Komoney have this on a potential ban list giving it an Sr rating meaning you won't get that sweat UR dust when they ban it so they can effectively kill the deck whenever they want without giving you a free 3 UR, everthing is about money here you can understand every move they've made in this game onec you see it from a money perspective
I take back every bad thing I've ever said about Runick. I didn't think it was possible to create a deck with every toxic mechanic ever invented but somehow Koonami achieved it with Kashtira.
Imagine combining them together since Runick quick plays banish. TCG didn’t seem to experiment with it that much though someone got Top 4 with it at the 250th YCS in LA. Pre-Ariseheart and other support, I wonder if a MD mad lad will experiment with it.
Kashtira is SO much worse in a format like Master Duel than Tear. It's literally going to force people who play Pendulum decks to quit the game if they aren't willing to play a different deck for how unviable they will become.

I dont understand why the zone lock isn't a hard OPT, soft OPT, or even just require xyz material to be detached to activate and then move the destruction protection to a "the first time each turn this card would be destroyed it isn't"
I mean, yeah sure. That's their win condition. If you flip it face down or banish it though, it's over for them. As well, the zone locking only happens upon banishing face down, so if you imperm it at the start of the turn, it can't lock any more zones.

It's a good deck I consistently clap this deck with swordsoul though so especially players don't even lock up my zones lol we will see when the rest of the archetype comes out

I am wondering, when Egyptian God cards like Ra is more used to trigger the tribute of these XYZ Monsters. It is a 3 card combo, so maybe more of these monsters in the meta.
This is why I quit yugioh so long ago. Almost every duel is completely 1 sided because your opponent just summons a full board that stops you from playing the game. I loved playing both legacy of the duelist games.

Yep, same here. I hate not being able to craft the multitude of decks I want because everything costs in this game. UR and SR crafts would be so much better if they were less steep and the pass is a joke. Enough for 4 UR, 4 Sr, and 10 pack. At this point since money is obviously so much more important Konami should just release UR/SR point packs instead of gem packs. That way I know I'm not wasting 100s of dollars on horrible RNG.
@@nobuneoda7688 god it’s not that hard, just make a new steam account get 10 k gems to make any deck you want, or just wait it out until you have all the resources available, I don’t praise Konami a lot, but I will say at the beginning of the game they are very generous with the gems and basically let you make any deck in the game. The crafting system could be better, maybe they could make it 1 for 1, but that kinda eliminates the point of gacha and lets be real the game thrives off gacha. I haven’t spent a dime on md and probably can make any deck in the game rn. I think md is the most f2p card game that’s made by an official company. I might be wrong though.

I cannot beat Labrynth with Kashtira right now, I put Jinzo just for them, and other cards against traps. I can beat them only with Swordsouls, labrynth is a really fast and strong deck right now
@@FrostReave I use "pure" Kashtira, with handtraps like maxx c and ash, kaiju and nibiru too, so nothing special. I do not use the turbo Link Kasthira, i just put all the most useful lvl 7 xyz and hope for a good hand for the first turn, but i didn't really studied it for going first or second. For swordsouls I use a pure swordsoul deck, with tenjis, and it goes very well first, I can always summon Baronne de fleur on the first turn with Chixiao, awesome combo, sometimes with some spared card like traps or hand traps for the opponent s turn. I wrote in terrible English, sorry, it is not my first language
@@unpaninoconilsalame 1st of all, karma for using Kash. The thing is Labrynth is just a trap engine. So it really depends on what traps they have. Virus and D barrier are the main problem that you really just need to get rid of before they know what deck you are running. Use 3 Lightning Storm, 1 Harpy, and maybe a red reboot. Traps are very common anyway atm so you can’t really go wrong

Every few months and they don’t touch new decks while they are in the store because they are greedy. Also the MD banlist specifically loves playing favorites or is brain dead so don’t expect any good bans just look at tear

Activation order, or something worded similar, just leave that as On. The only annoying thing is sometime even when you cancel an effect, it still has another pop up asking if you want to active that effect but other than that, having the ability to choose which activate when is good.

Also Master duel doesn’t follow the same rules or have the same banlist as IRL. It’s so much worse then both the OCG and TCG in every way.

Never negate unicorn, either fenrir or rise heart is a better bet.
This is why I use double dark ruler no more, 3 kaiju turtle, 1 Ra sphere mode, 2 supper poly double maxx C

I am wondering, when Egyptian God cards like Ra is more used to trigger the tribute of these XYZ Monsters. It is a 3 card combo, so maybe more of these monsters in the meta.
This is why I quit yugioh so long ago. Almost every duel is completely 1 sided because your opponent just summons a full board that stops you from playing the game. I loved playing both legacy of the duelist games.
But it's so good when you are going second and you break their board and they suddenly scoop.

Yep, same here. I hate not being able to craft the multitude of decks I want because everything costs in this game. UR and SR crafts would be so much better if they were less steep and the pass is a joke. Enough for 4 UR, 4 Sr, and 10 pack. At this point since money is obviously so much more important Konami should just release UR/SR point packs instead of gem packs. That way I know I'm not wasting 100s of dollars on horrible RNG.
@@nobuneoda7688 god it’s not that hard, just make a new steam account get 10 k gems to make any deck you want, or just wait it out until you have all the resources available, I don’t praise Konami a lot, but I will say at the beginning of the game they are very generous with the gems and basically let you make any deck in the game. The crafting system could be better, maybe they could make it 1 for 1, but that kinda eliminates the point of gacha and lets be real the game thrives off gacha. I haven’t spent a dime on md and probably can make any deck in the game rn. I think md is the most f2p card game that’s made by an official company. I might be wrong though.

I cannot beat Labrynth with Kashtira right now, I put Jinzo just for them, and other cards against traps. I can beat them only with Swordsouls, labrynth is a really fast and strong deck right now
What deck are you using and is it dedicated to first or go second?
@@FrostReave I use "pure" Kashtira, with handtraps like maxx c and ash, kaiju and nibiru too, so nothing special. I do not use the turbo Link Kasthira, i just put all the most useful lvl 7 xyz and hope for a good hand for the first turn, but i didn't really studied it for going first or second.
For swordsouls I use a pure swordsoul deck, with tenjis, and it goes very well first, I can always summon Baronne de fleur on the first turn with Chixiao, awesome combo, sometimes with some spared card like traps or hand traps for the opponent s turn.

The thing is Labrynth is just a trap engine. So it really depends on what traps they have.
Virus and D barrier are the main problem that you really just need to get rid of before they know what deck you are running. Use 3 Lightning Storm, 1 Harpy, and maybe a red reboot. Traps are very common anyway atm so you can’t really go wrong

Every few months and they don’t touch new decks while they are in the store because they are greedy.
Also the MD banlist specifically loves playing favorites or is brain dead so don’t expect any good bans just look at tear

Hey what’s the setting to choose the chain link order for master duel?
Activation order, or something worded similar, just leave that as On.
The only annoying thing is sometime even when you cancel an effect, it still has another pop up asking if you want to active that effect but other than that, having the ability to choose which activate when is good.
