If that helps, I’d recommend checking out Team APS’s structure deck duels if you’re interested in physical YuGiOh! Most of their duels have them explaining their actions as they play their cards

A great example how to annoy opponent with great deck..set one card and i end my turn😂😂
In the first game, on turn 1 he could synchro into baxia with taia. Taia sends mo ye to gy. Baxia pops monk to revive mo ye from gy. That way he would get 1 additional card in addition to baxia instead of monk.
On turn 3, he could normal summon taia, banish long yuan to summon token, then activate adhara in gy to retrieve the long yuan and make another level 10 synchro
Other option he could have gone for was Taia send another copy of Ashuna to the gy. Ashuna banishes itself to summon Adhara. Adhara and Chixao to make Shenshen, then Adhara banish itself to add back Ashuna. That would give him a pop 2 with blackout, Shenshen's effect and an omninegate

hard question, what does monk of the tenyi do? Is it worth to add it into the deck or can I use that space for other cards?
@@jasonooi4246 monk of the tenyi is a hard requirement for the tenyi variant of the swordsoul strategy. you’d want to run as many as you can with a minimum of two. tenyi monsters can only activate their effects when you control a non effect monster. since monk is a non effect link monster, you can make them with any of the tenyi wyrms. a classic example is opening a hand with ashuna and adhara (level 1)/vishuda (level 7). special ashuna bc you don’t control any effect monsters -> link ashuna into monk of the tenyi -> summon either adhara or vishuda -> activate ashuna in the graveyard to special the one you don’t already have on the field -> synchro into any level 8 using adhara and vishuda. this combo doesn’t take up a normal summon so you can extend even further with your swordsoul cards.

I was wondering if he is going to use this meta deck in the tournament. Wouldn't that mean his opponent can study his deck and counter play?
Meta decks is usually a no secret, you may find it in websites or maybe even in game swordsoul example decks. Meta yugioh nowadays is about the coin flip, who get the 1st turn will most likely to win, not always tho

Yeah but board breaking requires going 2nd cards that take up space if you want to draw them. And sometimes you go against decks where you simply don't have enough cards for their negates/ cards that play around board breakers. IE herald, adventure tenyi, adamancipator and even swordsoul with handtraps is quite good

Yeah, they should have a classic ranked mode. Which only allowed older cards. These brand new Meta like Tear, Spright and Runick are definitely not for Casual
MD is quicker with adjusting their banlist than the TCG. I would expect the ishizu cards to get hit pretty quickly. That said, pote/dabl/mama/phhy are all high power level sets, they'd have to literally ban most of the cards from them for them to not shake up the meta a lot if not entirely overtake it.
That's assuming that the Ishizu cards are added at the same time as Tear

Next time use taya to banish longyuan then use adhara to add it to hand.

It really irks me when there's a Chinese named card and someone mispronounces it. Baxia is not pronounced "back-see-yuh." Its pronounced "bah-she-yah."
Def a good deck. But still beatable. I have a Blue Eyes Dragon deck that can do it.

The turn timer is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long in Master Duel. Nerf the timer and the game won't be alienating new players anymore. You won't have the time to use every card in sight. You will have to think about what's going to happen instead of just blowing your load.

That's literally what Sykkuno said, he only made this meta deck because he stated that he needed a meta deck in a certain Yu-Gi-Oh tournament that was coming.
I agree , meta deck is so boring . It so easy to win with it , i also stop using it on rank .
I mean, watching meta decks stomp people who barely know the game playing bad decks is pretty boring, yes.
If you actually know the game, high level matches are usually pretty interesting.
