I see that everyone is arguing in the comments as most Star Wars fans do for some reason. Let me help you feel better about this; 1. Yes, Anakin is still the Chosen One. He did destroy the Sith and bring balance to the force (Palpatine even had a line in this movie saying "I have died before"). But balance is never permanent. Evil will always return in some form or another. 2. Just because you did not hear a certain voice does not indicate that they are alive or dead. The fact is, they could only use a small handful of voices, because if they used every Jedi ever this movie would have been 5 hours long. 3. Yes, these are all the original actors/voice actors. From Sam Jackson and Hayden Christensen, to Alec Guiness and Freddie Prinze Jr. And they got Alec in there by finding him saying the word "afraid" and cutting it down to "rai" which sounds like "Rey" 4. There are 2 parts to the force, as Qui Gon told us; the living force and the cosmic force. At this moment we know of 5 characters who could become ghosts; Qui Gon, Obi Wan, Yoda, Anakin and Luke. They trained to use the living force to physically show up. The others go to the cosmic force when they die. That is why we cannot see them but only hear them. Because the rest of them cannot become force ghosts. But they are still one with the force.
joethahobo, thank you, I’m seeing people say things like “Disney made anakin die for nothing” and it’s like balance is never a permanent thing, he brought balance it just never lasts forever
@@andrewj.730 Yeah, she does. But I said at this moment the video covers. Leia dies when Ben dies and becomes a ghost shortly after. Just not during this scene.
And now I’m crying. This scene was almost more emotional than Ben’s death for me. Hearing Yoda was what got me. Knowing that all of these jedi stand behind Rei and see her struggle and view her as one of their own. She earned her jedi rank in this scene. I started crying like 10 seconds in too.
Ahsoka and Kanan being included was a dream come true for me! They, as well as Hera, are my all time favorite characters, and the fact they’re included in the last mainstream film made my heart melt in an instant! (Plus the Ghost was seen returning with the Falcon during the battle)
Exactly. If anything, the skywalker family(also Ahsoka) and maybe the other force ghosts like Kenobi and Yoda(if Ben Solo met them), should’ve been encouraging Ben Solo.
Never saw the film, but this scene gives me goosebumps. Makes me miss the days on my brother, cousin, and I pretending to be jedi fighting in the Clone Wars.
This is an awesome scene and I'm so happy they included Kanan and gave him one of the best lines. He truly was an amazing jedi. Rebels is slept on. I also kind of find it hilarious that after this movie came out, Filoni insists Ahsoka is still alive. I love her so I'm not complaining.
Ashoka should have gotten a longer line in my opinion as she is one of the most loved Star Wars characters ever. Also this hit me hard because I never really thought about Ashoka being dead but this scene confirms it 😭
I just realized in TFA, Obi Wan is talking in the background when Rey discovers Anakin’s/Luke’s lightsaber. He says “These are your first steps, Rey.” now in TROS, he does say “These are your final steps, Rey.” in the final act of the movie. Pretty cool when you think about it.

The eldest person that spoke there was Qui Gon-Jinn, and to put in perspective how long we’ve watched this story, in universe, Qui Gon passed away in a fight with Darth Maul 66 years ago! That’s like from here in 2022, talking to someone that died in 1956!
I saw these actors that were going to be in this movie before this movie came out - saw on a website called IMDb, and the actors played the same characters as before.

I thought I heard a few non movie voices thrown in there, I'll say this is one of the few parts of the movie that legitimately surprised and impressed me
When they filmed this all the actors were on set in full costume specifically for this scene but they ended up making this scene shorter and only using the audio
Did that include Ahsoka and Kanan, because that makes me question if it was realistic CGI versions of them, random people in makeup or if they brought in Rosario Dawson with the promise she’d get to expand the role in later projects and they brought in Freddie Prince Jr
Good job! Great video man! Just wanted to point out that if you listen closely, you can hear Kanan saying “In the heart of a Jedi, lies HER strength.” He says her instead of their.
Thanks. And when I made this every other place on the internet that had this scene written out had their, so that's what I put. It is too much work to go back and change it now lol. But you're right

And they got Alec in there by finding him saying the word "afraid" and cutting it down to "rai" which sounds like "Rey"
I think it was pretty cool they included Clone Wars/Rebels characters.
joethahobo, thank you, I’m seeing people say things like “Disney made anakin die for nothing” and it’s like balance is never a permanent thing, he brought balance it just never lasts forever
But Leia was a jedi (kind’a) and she became a ghost
@@andrewj.730 Yeah, she does. But I said at this moment the video covers. Leia dies when Ben dies and becomes a ghost shortly after. Just not during this scene.
joethahobo I view it as Anakin brought the balance, and Rey’s job was to maintain it.
Who else got goosebumps hearing this

Ahsoka and Kanan being included was a dream come true for me! They, as well as Hera, are my all time favorite characters, and the fact they’re included in the last mainstream film made my heart melt in an instant! (Plus the Ghost was seen returning with the Falcon during the battle)
Top tier characters for sure!
It's cool that their in the scene, but it really makes no sense for Kanan to be there. He wasnt really strong or influential like the other jedi
@@bilfbilfbilf You did see what he accomplished in Rebels right ?
Can’t wait for The Mandalorian season 2 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Dude, I got chills when I heard Kanan, but at the same time, I was so happy
When I heard Kanan at the theater, I was shocked and quietly squealed like a pig
Like an Ugnaught
I loved the fact anakin came back
And I cried of happiness when Kanan came back
Me, too.
Anakin is my favorite Jedi as well as Ahsoka, too.
I loved that Kanan got a long line
I HAD NO IDEA KANAN TALKED TO HER...NOW MY HEART HUUURRRTS. Kanan is probably my favorite Jedi below Qui-Gon

At least i didnt turn old haha

I didn't realise it at the time but I'm so damn glad Luminara was there she's always been my fav jedi
Hugh B me too
I love how they added kanan Jaruses voice in there .😀
Who else is here after looking over the cast and crew again to see both Kanan and Asoka confirming that both the Clone Wars and Rebels are cannon!
They are and have always been canon. George created the Clone Wars himself. There is no reason for either to not be canon
They've always been canon; fingers crossed they always will be, too.
@@noddyfan1877 there's zero reason for them to ever be taken out of canon. So no need to worry

"Bring back the balance, Rey, as I did."
I'm not sure of that, Anakin...
He did. For a short time
Even in Legends, it was for a short time.
It amazes me how much Hayden sounds like Matt Lanter these days.
His voice has gotten deeper, soon he will sound like Vader lol
@@joseluis5055 "Henceforce, you shall be known as Darth... Vader."
I still wish they could have been in the movie physically but at the same time I'm glad we got Anakin and the other Jedi at least
Anakin should’ve at least shown up. They should’ve had either Ben Solo or both him and Rey kill Sidious. Anakin should’ve encouraged Ben Solo.
Everyone talking to Rey, Anakin included
Ben: iam a joke to you?
Im always going to be included
Exactly. If anything, the skywalker family(also Ahsoka) and maybe the other force ghosts like Kenobi and Yoda(if Ben Solo met them), should’ve been encouraging Ben Solo.
0:48 Man that was a good callback line. Good to hear it again. At a great moment in the movie no less.
Rey had the low ground in TROS, but Obi-Wan's spirit contained in her, making it the high ground anyway
No, his high ground cancelled out her low ground, becoming neutral ground
@@iam4026 No, as Obi-wan told Vader. "Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you could ever imagine." He IS the high ground now.
Best scene in the movie wish they would’ve should the jedis as ghost
Never saw the film, but this scene gives me goosebumps. Makes me miss the days on my brother, cousin, and I pretending to be jedi fighting in the Clone Wars.
I watch this whenever I feel alone bc I have no friends, the only thing I have is Star Wars
💪😤
You are never alone!
Thank you :)
I'm glad they included Adi Gallia. She is way underrated and her headdress is awesome.
This is an awesome scene and I'm so happy they included Kanan and gave him one of the best lines. He truly was an amazing jedi. Rebels is slept on.
I also kind of find it hilarious that after this movie came out, Filoni insists Ahsoka is still alive. I love her so I'm not complaining.
coolest part is that kanan got the best line he deserves it. maybe not over some of the others but kanan was a truly great jedi
Kanan was definitely one of, if not the best example of a Jedi that we've seen in canon.
Lowkey this part made me start crying
Rey: rises up
Palpatine: ACTIVATE RAY SHIELDS!!
Obi wan: wait a minute, how did this happen? We are smarter than this...
I see every comment that is posted on this video, and I can genuinely say yours is the first that made me laugh really hard. Well done.
"Rey Shields"
Apparently not!
Ashoka should have gotten a longer line in my opinion as she is one of the most loved Star Wars characters ever. Also this hit me hard because I never really thought about Ashoka being dead but this scene confirms it 😭
I HAVE CHILLS. Say what you want about Rise of Skywalker, but this was one of the most beautiful moments in the movie.
I just realized in TFA, Obi Wan is talking in the background when Rey discovers Anakin’s/Luke’s lightsaber. He says “These are your first steps, Rey.” now in TROS, he does say “These are your final steps, Rey.” in the final act of the movie. Pretty cool when you think about it.
they also have Ewan say those lines in both and have Alec say "rey" in both too
@@joethahobo Ewan McGregor did old Ben's voices too? I had thought it was Ben's voice-over actor from Rebels.
@@GustavoMendozaCanales No, Ewan says the young Obi Wan lines and Alec says the old Ben line "Rey". Stephen Stanton ( the Rebels Old Ben) is not here.
My favorite part was when c3p0 uses the force and the dark saber and jar jar with a purple lightsaber team up and kill palp
Best part of the movie. I still wish we could’ve seen their Force ghosts, though.
hearing anakin quigon and obi wan speak to her is making me so emotional, im glad hayden christensen came back for it, i honestly didnt expect it. im also so happy ahsoka and kanaan appeared too, totally unexpected as they dont appear in the main saga, but fully appreciated!
Dang! I just watched all 9 movies this week, and seeing Qui-Gon, Windu, and even Anakin come back to say these lines as, 1, a small reunion of the past movies, and also 2, help Rey rise... It just lightened me up so much!
Thank you all for 100K! I never really cared for views or likes or anything but this is pretty cool. Thanks!

This is so helpful for me I'm so shit at distinguishing voices. I was just rewatching tros like I have no clue who is saying what. I figured out Anakin from what he said. And I recognised kanan's voice. And I just fully missed Yoda's bit but I would've got that. And I figured Luke was the last one but it didn't sound like him to me. I knew ahsoka was in there but I couldn't distinguish her voice and I never even knew mace or qui gon or luminara were in there
The most important Jedi that lived and died speak to Rey, the granddaughter of the man who killed most of them, are with her still.
Lego version:
Obi-Wan Kenboi: These are your final steps, Rey. Rise and take them.
Anakin Skywalker: I don't like sand.
Yoda: I agree.
Mace Mindu: Now it's not the time for this.
Old Luke Skywalker: Rey. The Force will be with you, always.
I love how they put Adi Gallia in here. She’s my fav Jedi and I think she’s underrated.
her death was pretty..... savage....
I'll see myself out
I agree! They should have done more with her but I'm glad her line was one of the loudest and I love her headdress.
Windu: Who invited the citizen?
The high ground, get you must, Rey.
-Yoda Kenobi
Kind of touches my heart a little bit with how many Jedi they included
The loudest voices are the most important of Jedi and I love it
I wanna see Hishe's Take on that Scene with Ki Adi Mundi, & those Younglings who're mad that the Chosen One Murdered Them.
Younglings: *to Anakin* You still murdered us all by the way and we still don't know if we should forgive you for it
Ki Adi Mundi: Look Rey I know Palpatine is gonna fuck shit up throughout the whole Galaxy but what about the droid attack on the Wookiee’s?

say what you will about Anakin... he was an excellent teacher and a realist compared to some of the more dreary jedi - his motivational speech even snapped me out of a daydream

Master Luminara!!
Surprised they got the voice actress from The Clone Wars just for six words because she hasn't had a speaking part since season 2 of TCW. Same with rounding up the voices of Jedi Aayla Secura + Adi Gallia.
I don’t think Jennifer Hale is that hard to get
There's something beautiful about the voices of the jedi guiding the heir of darth sidious to the light.
some things are stronger than blood
qui gon hits hard because if you really think about it he started all, he trained obi wan, obi wan trained anakin and luke , so he is a legendary jedi and i think he is very underated
"Should we have young Obi-Wan or old Obi-Wan?"
"Yes."
That’s beautiful
The eldest person that spoke there was Qui Gon-Jinn, and to put in perspective how long we’ve watched this story, in universe, Qui Gon passed away in a fight with Darth Maul 66 years ago! That’s like from here in 2022, talking to someone that died in 1956!
I saw these actors that were going to be in this movie before this movie came out - saw on a website called IMDb, and the actors played the same characters as before.
Here’s the website: m.imdb.com/title/tt2527338/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0
Nick Larrick we all know what IMDB is
Thank you, I finally know and you kept it concise and didn’t have to explain every little detail
"Alone never have you been" would make a great tattoo quote. And "bring back the balance as I once did" sounds like something you can write in a card and give to your kids.
This is great! Thank you!
I loved this scene. It made me cry. I grew up watching starwars and I will die watching it. It is something yo cherish and behold it's an amazing thing really it brings people together it brings excitement, happiness and joy. Star Wars is amazing! It's sad to see these amazing characters finally be laid to some wha if a rest after all these years but alas they need room for the newbies. Hopefully down the line I can share the star wars experience with my kids! May the force be with you, always
I heard Hayden when he said 'Let it lift you' and that's it.
This is actually the most accurate video representing these voices. Other ones have left out lines.
I thought I heard a few non movie voices thrown in there, I'll say this is one of the few parts of the movie that legitimately surprised and impressed me
I wish it was like legend of Korra and avatar where they all appeared behind her with glowing eyes or something lol
They had it in the JJ Abrams version but they cut it out
When they filmed this all the actors were on set in full costume specifically for this scene but they ended up making this scene shorter and only using the audio
@@ashleeromer3396 I hope they release it as a deleted scene!
But you're right
I don’t know why but every time I watch this scene I cry. It’s just so amazing hearing the voices of the Jedi (especially Ahsoka) I grew up watching from the Clone Wars and Rebels.
Some people say the movies may not have been great but this scene was goosebump giving
