Thanks Kevin for the great video. One of the big disappointment for spreadsheet heavy-users like many of us, is that it's no longer possible to Extend (and Title) the currently opened programs in the taskbar. This is unbelievable that MS dropped this feature. Even the option is not existing. Is there a way to reactivate it, you think ? Big thanks for the advise.

Thanks Kevin. Love watching your videos. Makes us all smarter 😃. I do have a related question to this video: I used to use the Quicklaunch facility where I right-clicked Win10 taskbar, up to Toolbars and added a New toolbar which pointed at a folder containing all my most useful links and this was permanently docked on the right of the taskbar. The upgrade has removed this and I can't see a way to put it back. Has is totally disappeared? If so, knowing you, I'm sure you have a smart work-around.

Honestly it feels as though they have made things much more confusing in windows 11, I prefer windows 10 due to the easy accessibility and freedom you have with it.
Edit : after a week with Windows 11 I have realised that it is not bad as people say, although it is just a little harder to operate than windows 10 once you get the hang of it it is quite easy.

When you make the taskbar size smaller via the registry editor, the taskbar and icons do get smaller but the right side panels where the hidden icons, the time and dates, area where u can access wifi, volume etc doesn't change its size so instead gets submerged below the screen a little bit and makes it look ugly...any idea how to solve that?

Hi Kevin ! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. Indeed very helpful and easy to follow. I just need one more information which is not given in this tutorial and I am also unable to figure it out. The taskbar can populate only 20 odd icons. I have around 32 icons on my taskbar. But I can see only 20. How can I see the balance 12 icons. Even if reduce the size of icons, still I cannot see the balance. In Windows 10, there was a sign for overflow. So it was easy to roll to next page. I will sincerely appreciate if you can please help me in this. Thanks in advance. Cheers !

The only problem with resizing the size of your Icons is that the icon spacing does not change they just get smaller but the overall length of your taskbar doesn't change so you can have more quicksand icons showing. Also it ruins the height of viewable stuff in your taskbar. So this changing the icon size doesn't fix the problem of not seeing all your quicklaunch apps you used to have.

Something I really miss is the shortcut Address bar on the TaskBar. This is essentially a shortcut that allows you to type in a URL and have your default browser open and go to that site. It also shows (if you choose to leave it that way, the last few urls you have used, making it a handy dandy way to access favorite sites. I simply cannot seem to make this happen in Window 11. Got any suggestions?
