test drove the grand coupe with same turbo 4 cyclinder and its true on the turbo - it takes off real quick and handles really well - expected since its a smaller car but the performance its great - smooth and fast -
I like the front grill that everybody complained about. But I don’t like the rear side window, they traded in the traditional Hofmeister kink for a Chevy Malibu kink.
Nice review! As you were going thru your presentation, i was estimating the cost to be about 9k more than the base. BMW loves to nickel and dime their customers. I know, I have owned several. I guess it depends how one drives, but the 4 cyclinder cars simply don't provide much engine braking, eveb if you're in sport mode and are selecting gears manually. Stepping up to a 440 can get pricey pretty fast. Ihe 440 confiugred with similar options of the 430 you revviewd, jumps off of $40k pretty fast. It's not too hard to get the price up to or beyond $70k without trying too hard..
Nice review! As configured, that car is at least 9k hirhger than the 49k base model. I have a 23 430 GC. BMW has tried to make the engine sound agreessive and they pipe manufactured sound into the cabin, but it still sounds like a sewing machine.
@@known3617 Obviously you don't. Both like driving a lounge chair with zero connection. Then again if boring is for you, cheers!! Much better choice would have been an appropriate sized coupe like an M2.
I got this car a month ago. If you are on the shorter side (im 5’3) the lumbar is a bit too high and might cause a little discomfort on longer distances. I personally use the lowest setting on the heated seats to help with that. The lumbar is my only complaint about the car, its fun, looks great and shines where it needs to shine
If the car isnt loaded with options the 430 is fine. If you are getting it fully loaded I would get a 440 as the price difference between them at that point are only a couple grabd
I was in the market this year and went the way of Lexus instead. The grille on this is a non-starter for me. It’s garish. I could never walk into my garage everyday, look at this and appreciate it. As for the rest of the car, it’s an iPad on wheels. It’s not the ultimate driving machine anymore; it’s an Apple product. I want analog gauges, switches, buttons, a real gearshift, and in general, a real car. I recently cross shopped this with the Lexus RC 350 F Sport and chose that instead because it maintains a sense of traditionalism, still feels like a real car rather than a toy, and looks so much better than this car, inside and out, all day long. I’ll come back to BMW if and when they go back to making cars rather than laptops.
How was the brake feels. I just got my 440 recently, its my first bmw, and the brake is kinda sensitive I think, its so hard to stop smoothly compare to all the cars I had before. I had different brands and price point cars, from Mercedes, vw, ford, toyota, mazda, etc. Never had any problem with the brake.
Worst instrument panel in thie history of the automobile. Thankfully when iDrive 9 comes out, they're cutting that iMax screen down in size significantly, but this stupid thing looks hideous. Add the video game-like instrument displays, and all climate controls built into the touch interface, and you have a major FAIL.

I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
nice driving finally someone who knows how to drive.
I love my 430i. It's such a sporty, yet luxury car I enjoy driving on a daily basis.
How much did you pay for it?
The only BMW product I can afford bestie.

Sounds pretty freaking good to me
Was thinking of getting a 420i but now definitely moving up to the 430i 😊
30 the best number
Do it and then add an easy chip mod for another 40 hp and you are good 👍

Good review bc is true this 4 cylinders sound incredible. I like the convertible...
I bought it because of the front grill! love it!
best review ever , thank you
Great video, if possible can you do a video of the 2024 M440i Xdrive? I’ve been eyeing that car.
I’ll try getting one asap! Here’s a link to a 2024 M440i without the Xdrive th-cam.com/video/7VUDVpoMKEA/w-d-xo.html
Great review.. probably going to buy one of these
I don’t know if I like the layout of that long display. Looks like it’s not integrated into the dash.

I've driven both the the 430 & 440 as loaners from my dealership. Both competent pleasant to drive Daily Drivers just NOT a sports car.
Top speeds of 165, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds... idk what your definition of a sports cars is, but it sucks.

Hey buddy. Good morning. May I ask is this 2024 4series carry the new type bmw key?
2024 BMW 430i 2.0L Turbocharged 4-Cylinder 8-Speed Automatic RWD M Sport Package Coupe
Just checked this model is available in Singapore for about 350k with no add ons. Is it worth the price?
What color is this ?
18:13 Haha. Is that really what's considered brutal traffic in Florida?

bc ur car is new
what is fuel consumption?
B58 or no go.
Buying foreign cost more. Buy donestic and get the power and performance at a better deal.
Is there an ambient lighting option?
Yes. A small strip on the sides and front, and lights in the lower part of the cabin
@@Jaypeeps05thanks my guy
No ambient light package?
Yep they have em!
my mk8 gti weighs probably half as much with the dual clutch automatic. shifts are instant. same @250hp. if this bmw "rips" the gti is a rocket.
eww... iDrive 8 is yuck
HORN
I hope they improve that design in next 4 model
Idrive 8 looks so lazy and cheap compared to idrive 7. You can defiantly tell idrive8 was rushed because of component shortages.
This thing drives like a boat. Last 4 series was a sports car this is not

Same. I could never. This is a laptop on wheels.
The grille looks even uglier in person. What happened to BMW?
you need some better taste :)
