Thanks Roger. If we knew what to do to get bigger or whatever, I am sure we'd do it, but we don't, so who cares. With the real life interactions we have had, we've made a lot of truly lifelong friends. I guess like attracts like? Pretty cool times we live in!

We feel you're pain. We looked for almost 2 years straight until we found our new home. The market is crazy, don't give up we will still follow you! Good luck!
I just said to my hubby yesterday, what going on with them and then you post a video. So happy to hear about your cancer free news YAY! You two are one of the most genuine couples and I appreciate seeing that in todays world.
It’s always a pleasure to watch each episode. Sad the right boat hasn’t come along yet. Appreciate your comments but you don’t owe any explanation. Thank you for letting us peek into your lives. Blessings!
Your authenticity and earnestness is so appreciated. I’m also deep in the boat buying process. Thank you for your videos and know that I’m thinking about you and hoping we both find our boat soon. Continued wishes for good health!
I have just realised why I love your channel. You guys are the reason, the catamarans, the sailing, the adventures, they are just the canvas on which you paint.
Great news on Megan's biopsy! We are keeping our fingers crossed on the SoCal boat. You guys have a awesome attitude. Something great will happen, just may take a while. Welcome back. I am glad your eye problem is resolved and cancer free. As far as the boat in CA, it will be, or it won't. Se la vie! See you again soon.
I was so glad to hear no more Cancer. I know how you feel, I've been in remission from Stage IV Prostate Cancer since 2020. It's wonderful to hear there's no Cancer growing. Congratulations! ❤
Wonderful new regarding Megan's health! Just fantastic. Wishing you find the right home for you soon, preferably a floating one. And, yes, take a break from youtube when you need too especially for your mental health!
Just viewed your video after seeing your facebook posting. I too miss you. It's been a long time indeed. I'm just glad I found you years ago. You two have a certain magnetism and your videos prove it.
Happy 50th Megan. I have enjoyed watching your channel for the last couple of years and I can really relate right now. My husband and I sold our 32ft cruising monohull in 2019. We had been searching for a catamaran for a little over a year when we sold the boat. We had an end tie slip and could have slid right in with a cat in Honolulu - unheard of. Except, we couldn't find the right boat. So, we changed direction and accepted a captain chef gig in SE Alaska for the summer. The owners were looking to sell their 1944 99ft wooden vessel. It was a beautiful luxury yacht that we ran for the summer - but no thanks on the maintenance needed. We moved back to Honolulu at the end of 2019 with no boat and into an apt. and then COVID hit and then I got diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. In 2020, we found a 2009 Catana for sale in French Polynesia - a charter boat (actually, that's why we started watching your channel) - and we had a lead on another end tie slip. I didn't love the boat, but Jason did. Since we likely had a slip, I said make them a lowball offer and see what happens. Well, we own that boat today and it's been great. We have put cruising on hold for now. We are running charters on our boat in Honolulu and living on land for a bit. It took us over 2 years, but we are so very happy with the boat. My fingers are crossed for you two that you find a vessel soon. It'll happen. Mariah ~ Pau Hana Sailing
I feel so bad for you guys. Sending out a virtual hug and prayers for you both. Keep being positive, good things happen to good people and you guys are the very best. Things will work out. Your boat and the next adventures are just ahead. 🙏 for you.
I am so happy for you on your diagnosis. As one dealing with an ongoing medical issue, I can truly understand your relief. As for your boat problems, you're going to encounter people in your life that are truly self-interested, no empythy for others. But you will find the special person that cares about others genuinely and it will be a true blessing. Hang in there I don't miss you posts, ever.

Nick thanks for all the amazing content and we literally can not wait (and are both very excited) to see how your channel evolves 😃.. happy boat hunting and we look forward to your next video 🤩🤓
Glad the story has a good ending! Cancer sucks! I like it when my favorite sailing channels meet up and share stories. I'll echo the sentiment to go sailing with Emily and Cole!
I have been checking every day for the past week, wondering how you both are and whether the cancer got serious. Good to know about Megan being cancer-free.
Thank God you’re back!! I was worried you guys were gone forever. Happy to hear the cancer is behind you. Don’t worry about making boat videos, Megan in a bathtub, hot tub, swimming pool, hell even a large bucket and all is right in the world. Take care of yourselves.
Such great news. Your approach to life made me reflect on a passage from one of my favourite poems: “If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same” By being inspired you do inspire xxx
Just read through all the comments here. I too am very happy for you that at least the cancer terror is over and you can count on lots of years ahead. As for this other journey that you have been on for better part of a year, if it was me, at this point, I'm sure I'd be saying YUK!!! One thing I have noticed over my life is that when I wanted something or an event to occur and no matter how I tried and I couldn't make it happen, when it finally did happen I looked back and said, 'Oh, now I see the reason,' or at least I saw a tiny glimmer of the reason. Is it possible there are too many people trying to buy sailboats at this point in time??? I do hope you find a boat. I want to go sailing again with two of my favorite people. I love your life views.🤗🧡🌱🌊⛵
Ya know…we watch you…because you’re you. Additionally…as a bias “Oregon Boy”..and having seen some of this world…there is nothing like the Oregon Coastline…the cool woods opening to a sunny nook of a beach…the smells, sounds..freshness… You know where home truly is…and always will be. Appreciate you. Counting blessings. Yep.
You are a lovely couple, with a great outlook. So nice to see how you care for each other! Good luck with the next chapter …..happy news on your eye, Megan ❤️
So good to see you again. Happy Birthday and so happy for you that you missed the cancer bullet. I had stage 4 cancer and it is no fun. Happy to report that I am cancer free but it comes at a huge cost. I know that you know it will all work out. I know that you aren't religious but as someone who prays for you both I have prayed that you would be protected from the choice, the wrong decission and that you would be lead to God's best for you. It looks like He is answering prayer with the cancer and I am grateful for that for you. You may not believe it, but I believe He has your best intrests at heart.
Hi Nick and Megan, I've been following the two of you for over two years now and this is the first time I've posted a comment on your TH-cam channel. Megan I am very pleased to hear the awesome news that the cancer is gone! I too have been traveling a similar path, skin cancer on my face, selling my boat to purchase another only to find the prices went sideways, so no boat now, thinking maybe I should have kept my old boat. I am a very big fan and truly hope the very best life has to offer to you! Please keep posting as it gives me hope in my boating endeavors as well. Happy trails!
The Great news is Megan being Cancer Free!!! I am so very happy to hear! I know first hand of getting that same news after 6 Grueling Chemo treatments that were six hours each and finally get the clear PET Scan! That was six years ago. God Bless you both and good luck on the Boat deal. Happy Belated Birthday Megan!
Great update. So glad to hear Megan is free and clear. Of course, it all starts with having good health. Regarding your boat buying journey, Sabine and I wonder if we grabbed the last catamaran berth in Socal (found an end-tie in Ventura after reaching out to every marina from San Diego going north). If so, then sorry about that. We did find berths in the Bay Area but that was going to be to much of a delivery challenge for us. Since the Outremer is back in play, I'll ask our dockmaster if any catamaran friendly slips will be coming available. We love it here. Please know that we really appreciate all the help you both provided to us in our recent Leopard 48 purchase. We also had a lot of luck and wish the same for you. Let's stay in touch.
Congratulations 🎉on being cancer free!! A month ago I had a Mohes procedure on my right foot. I’m now trying to heal up a 6.5cm hole in the arch of that foot. I to am cancer free but the healing process is slow and long. It all puts a lot of life in perspective. Good luck with the boat. I’m glad you’re doing well. Feel like you’re family.
I just discovered your channel the other day and watched a couple of very useful, informative videos. You both seem genuine and are articulate and funny. I don’t feel like I know you like I do with some of the channels I’ve followed for a while but I was thrilled for you with your skin diagnosis. Praise God! What an enormous relief! You guys seem pretty well balanced with whichever direction your life goes, whether it’s on sea or on land. That’s a blessing in itself (true inner peace)! Something I like to do is shake that up a bit…and I share this with all my friends. Maybe cause you second guess that peace, but then dock that boat at true inner peace. You guys seem to really live life. You’re adventurous and have gone places and done things most people will never experience. And from the videos I watched, you’re very thoughtful with your planning (at least with boat purchases and well laid out videos). Something tells me you’re like that in other areas of your life too. You’ve made lots of plans for lots of destinations but what about your final destination? You’re going one of two directions, up or down. Can you say with certainty if you’re going to heaven? God, who created those vast oceans you’ve sailed and all the beauty you’ve experienced out there, also created you and He loves you and wants to see you in heaven; “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4 How do you get to heaven? Well, God’s not a puppet master. He won’t force someone to go where they don’t want to go. Some people don’t believe God, or some don’t like God, or some people just love their sin too much (that used to be me). God actually offers heaven as a gift. It’s something thing that needs to be accepted; “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 But what does the first part of that verse mean, death is wages?! Well, that’s what I was referring to before about shaking you up a bit. Causing you to question that peace. You see, where you spend eternity, in comparison to how long you live now, is like comparing a bucket of water with the water in the oceans. It’s so small or brief it’s negligible. That’s why it’s so vital to get it right. Back to “the wages of sin is death”. Death is what we earn due to our sin. That’s how serious sin is to a holy God. How can you know you’ve sinned? God gave the Ten Commandments as the measuring stick. How many lies have you told? Ever stolen anything (regardless of the value)? Used God’s name as a cuss word (blasphemy)? Lusted for someone that wasn’t your spouse? When we break God’s moral law we’ve sinned against Him and when we die we’ll stand in front of Him and we’ll be accountable to every sin we’ve ever committed; “And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,” Hebrews 9:27 Still not convinced? Think he’ll “know your heart” and consider “you’re a good person”? It will be like this: if a guy robs a bank and is caught a few years down the road and stands in front of the judge and says, “judge, I promise I won’t rob any more banks and I’m a good person now contributing to society. I feed the poor and give to charities and help little old ladies across the street…”. The judge is going to say good for you, you should be doing those things and not robbing banks. But I’m still sentencing you to prison because you have to pay the penalty for your crime. It’s the same with God. Our good works do not erase the sins we’ve committed. So what’s the solution? God’s love for you! “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 Jesus paid the penalty of death for you; “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 He paid our fine. We just need to accept the gift. How do we do that? “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;” Romans 10:9 BELIEVE! To believe means to trust. Trust in Jesus’ goodness and sacrifice. Like you’d trust a parachute. If you jump out of a plane with a parachute you wouldn’t flap your arms to help it. You’d put 100% of your trust in the parachute to do what it’s designed to do. That’s how you trust Jesus. He paid the debt of sin you can never pay. Don’t trust in your works, trust in His. Then repent for your sins which means to turn from them and not continue doing them like a hypocrite. ““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16 God loves you so much. Accept the gift of salvation and find true peace that when this life is over you’ll have eternal life in heaven. That’s true life insurance. I wish you many blessings ahead for both of you. God bless❤
Health first, physical and mental. You are already blessed for the good news. Also for living in such a beautiful place. Wonderful house too. Happy for you.
Y'all are one of the few channels that I watch your videos about as soon as they drop, so thanks for sharing your experiences with us! I have every expectation that you'll find the boat - if not the potential one mentioned here, another. Possibly when you least expect it. Until then, there are always tacos! I'll be cheering you from the sidelines!
Glad to see a real people video. We followed and corresponded with a sailing couple from our state that just disappeared. Literally their AIS signal stopped at sea. Their TH-cam and Instagram accounts stopped same day. No reports, nothing. It leaves you worrying a bit.
Hi Guys Iv been following your channel for quiet some time and like you guys have missed out on some boats that i wanted for various reason which cause me a lot of anxiety and despair. I have now bought a boat an Oyster 41 and love it. But your attitude and the way you guys handle the set backs has really hit home with me made think that it’s not the worst thing in the world to happen and a suitable boat will come along. Great attitude thank you for this and hello from the Central Coast NSW
Hello my dear friends So happy to see you both are doing ok and you are so positive about the important things in life like being healthy and next to your family. Thinking about you both from Canary Islands ❤
Glad to have you home for the beautiful Oregon summer. If you have to land somewhere for a while this is a fantastic place to center, get healthy, and explore. Thank you again for keeping our house sane through the pandemic. As a return favor, if you ever want to explore some of our more amazing waterways by kayak let us know. After 10 years running Kayak Portland as a community paddling group we know a few spots. 😉🙂
So pleased to hear you are ok Megan! Thats the most important thing. We can personally relate to the 12 months you have shared. We have had a very similar one ourselves...:) Onwards and upwards....as they say no guts no glory! xx
very glad to hear all is good on the health front, thats the most important, all else is secondary. wasnt aware it has been a year since you are looking for a new boat. if you feel like looking then do it, but personally i wouldnt share it publicly. you guys are great at making your content and im sure you can keep the rest of us entertained with something else while you search & secure a new deal. like i said before: what no one knows, no one messes with.
So thankful to hear the biopsy showed no cancer. Still hopeful y'all will find a boat soon. "Either way" we watch your content, but would prefer the content would be on the water. Greetings from Alabama, Carlos and Mandy.
Great news on the all clear, I can only imagine the relief. Looks like you had some great family time and some relaxing in beautiful surroundings. As for the boat, I can only wish you luck and whatever happens that it is what you want. Regards from the U.K. Andy UK
Very curious to see where you guys land! We've recently come back to land after 10 years of sailboats - and it's weirdly awesome. We'll have the 2010 Leopard 384 up for sale soon - but I know you guys are searching for a bigger, more performance driven boat. Good luck on the search - and just know that being back on land can be pretty special, too! 💙 PS - congrats on the clear results!!!
So glad that Megan is cancer free, and you guys are doing good out on the coast in OR. Life is short, that is for sure, enjoy the journey they say and i would agree. Happy friday and enjoy the beach for me.
Hey guys! I LOVE Ecola. I grew up in Cannon Beach and Seaside and Ecola in the sunshine is the best thing ever. You will find a boat when the right time comes.
Don't worry about being away from the spotlight for a little while. We will be here when you get back. I personally am not as interested in land based adventures as water based. I love to see where people go, the things they see, and how they get there. As a life long sailor, I enjoy living vicariously through you. Being in one place would not be as fun for me.
Congratulations on the cancer front!! 🥳 That's the most important thing. Good call on the doctor, that's the kind of person you want by your side when it comes to health. On the boat front... I really don't get people. What does it entail to hold on the deal a few extra days? These kinds of things go over my head. I'm absolutely certain you'll end up finding the right boat for you. Whenever there is a will, there is a way...and you're extremely willing individuals. All the best from Menorca.
I've had 4 Mohs procedures and they all sucked. Every time they went down to the bone, which every time they said 'All we shouldn't need to go down that far' and they did. And then they scrape the bone. You can hear it and 'feel' it to some extent. Just horrendous to go through. So I'm there with you on that.
Been there- Lived there-my first island life Kauai .. sure hope you find the boat of your dreams and Megan -thrilled the eye issue is now behind you. Take care everyone, summers just beginning!
Thanks for update. Do it your way guys. I always look to Karma when a deal unravels. The pause can be focusing and if it wasnt meant to be dont force it. All the best
I feel your pain I’ve been looking for 1.5 years came close however no sale. I keep on looking. Remember every boat you look at widens your knowledge of what you are looking for. Don’t give up 👍
No matter what dwelling you choose I am sure your videos will be worthy! I'll be looking for the next one. The path is usually the best part of the journey!!
Sometimes Good things happen to Good People! Your cancer free diagnosis was wonderful, no matter what else is in store for the future. (I hope it’s on the water ….)
So glad you're cancer free, that the surgery done while you were in my country, Australia, was a success and that it's only scar tissue left behind. I know looking for boats is a hassle, found 3 I've liked and each time I thought the deal was being done and about to go through, boom shot down in flames. But I'll keep trying, just as you will. Chin up, life is never black and white, there's allot of grey areas in between, but just continue living it to the fullest.
Your present situation and the decisions you are being required to make put me in mind of a favorite quote by William Arthur Ward: “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails."
Best phrase of 2023: Cancer-free❤❤

Thanks for the update! Life happens... Makes the next chapter that much better. At least the CA boat is not gone... Fair winds..
Such great news. Your approach to life made me reflect on a passage from one of my favourite poems:
“If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same”
By being inspired you do inspire xxx
That's perfect. So true
Additionally…as a bias “Oregon Boy”..and having seen some of this world…there is nothing like the Oregon Coastline…the cool woods opening to a sunny nook of a beach…the smells, sounds..freshness…
You know where home truly is…and always will be.
Appreciate you.
Counting blessings.
Yep.
You are a lovely couple, with a great outlook. So nice to see how you care for each other! Good luck with the next chapter …..happy news on your eye, Megan ❤️
Love that you're finding your pathway. It's all about the journey. Just glad you're ok Megan!
Thank you!
Great to see youre eye is OK Meghan. Keep looking Dudes. Theres gotta be something out there.
So happy for the good news on Megan's diagnosis! 😄😄😄😄😄
Thank you.
Thanks for the note. Parallel lives perhaps. Hoping the best for us both!
Awesome. Glad you are clear!
Thanks!
Happy to have you back, sending good vibes your way.
You're too kind. Hope that hole fills in quick. What a spot for it. Ouch!
God, who created those vast oceans you’ve sailed and all the beauty you’ve experienced out there, also created you and He loves you and wants to see you in heaven; “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:4
How do you get to heaven? Well, God’s not a puppet master. He won’t force someone to go where they don’t want to go. Some people don’t believe God, or some don’t like God, or some people just love their sin too much (that used to be me). God actually offers heaven as a gift. It’s something thing that needs to be accepted; “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
But what does the first part of that verse mean, death is wages?!
When we break God’s moral law we’ve sinned against Him and when we die we’ll stand in front of Him and we’ll be accountable to every sin we’ve ever committed; “And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,”
Hebrews 9:27
Still not convinced?
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
Jesus paid the penalty of death for you; “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
He paid our fine. We just need to accept the gift. How do we do that? “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;”
Romans 10:9
BELIEVE!
““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
God loves you so much.
I am so happy for you to be cancer free. I had tears in my eyes for you. Sending love your way ❤
Glad to see a real people video. We followed and corresponded with a sailing couple from our state that just disappeared. Literally their AIS signal stopped at sea. Their TH-cam and Instagram accounts stopped same day. No reports, nothing. It leaves you worrying a bit.
Hi Guys
Iv been following your channel for quiet some time and like you guys have missed out on some boats that i wanted for various reason which cause me a lot of anxiety and despair. I have now bought a boat an Oyster 41 and love it. But your attitude and the way you guys handle the set backs has really hit home with me made think that it’s not the worst thing in the world to happen and a suitable boat will come along. Great attitude thank you for this and hello from the Central Coast NSW
Well...
That was a fine touch
having that young woman
sing that sweet song...
Hope your all well.😊
I am so happy for you. we share in your JoY of being cancer free. ❤
Thank you so much!
You guys are just so awesome!! Thanks for the update and for always being so authentic.
Glad you’re okay love you guys, all the best for the future
Fantastic news that your health is better! Look forward to hearing from you both soon. Stay positive!
Hello my dear friends
So happy to see you both are doing ok and you are so positive about the important things in life like being healthy and next to your family.
Hey thanks! Ping us through sailclarity dot com
So pleased to hear you are ok Megan! Thats the most important thing. We can personally relate to the 12 months you have shared. We have had a very similar one ourselves...:) Onwards and upwards....as they say no guts no glory! xx
Yes, and let curiosity lead the way!
very glad to hear all is good on the health front, thats the most important, all else is secondary. wasnt aware it has been a year since you are looking for a new boat. if you feel like looking then do it, but personally i wouldnt share it publicly. you guys are great at making your content and im sure you can keep the rest of us entertained with something else while you search & secure a new deal. like i said before: what no one knows, no one messes with.
Chin up, good people. Megan now has a keen "eye" on the quest. "Never surrender, Never give up!"
Galaxy Quest! Best movie ever! NEver surrender!
So glad that Megan is cancer free, and you guys are doing good out on the coast in OR. Life is short, that is for sure, enjoy the journey they say and i would agree. Happy friday and enjoy the beach for me.
Life is a mysterious journey, you never know which way it will turn for you. Great to hear there was no cancer in that eye🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🇦🇺
Just keep your head up. Enjoy your time together and relax
Hey guys! I LOVE Ecola. I grew up in Cannon Beach and Seaside and Ecola in the sunshine is the best thing ever. You will find a boat when the right time comes.
Why would you ever leave? I'm sure you recognize where we are shooting but....don't tell anyone! LOL
@@TheOKellys OOPs... Sorry, I just got excited - but Haystack rock will be a giveaway to many people LOL
I think it is fun discovering your future. Take your time.
Glad to see your faces again and glad for the diagnosis!!!
Congrats. Now life can start again. Glad that you passed that hurdle. Good luck what ever you guys end up doing
Love you two. Even though you are in a dry spot, you are still an inspiration.
Megan had one previously on her nose. It's pretty traumatic procedure. But.....amazing they can go in there and get it all!!
Been there- Lived there-my first island life Kauai .. sure hope you find the boat of your dreams and Megan -thrilled the eye issue is now behind you. Take care everyone, summers just beginning!
Glad that pretty lady don't have cancer!!!!! Keep rockin guys!
I was thinking about you guys the other night and was going to check in and here you are! Living the dream ❗ so glad Megan is clear 🙏 ❤
I'm really loving the waiting for the next boat videos !! Congrats on the clean slate Megan 🎉
Take care !!! your right family and health are more important. I know you guy's will find a boat when the time is right.
Congratulations Megan and Happy Birthday!! Love you guys!
Don’t give up 👍
Very true! good luck to you as well!
Good luck! So glad you are cancer free❤️❤️
Glad you are well🎉, what is meant to be is meant to be. Sorry the seller is being such a pain, hang in there a lot of people are pulling for you.
No matter what dwelling you choose I am sure your videos will be worthy! I'll be looking for the next one.
The path is usually the best part of the journey!!
Always the best part! Cheers!
@@TheOKellys 👍 !!
I have missed your videos for sure. But I love your positive attitude.
Yes, Dr. Mewing was amazing! Sorry you’re having a tough time too boat shopping, hope you find the one very soon.
Your present situation and the decisions you are being required to make put me in mind of a favorite quote by William Arthur Ward: “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails."
