And when it comes to religious people even the moderate one can be affected by the extremists

Religious myth still have a big role but I have strong impression things are going way worse in the “West”

In Ukraine, the left shore of the river Dnipro (and the so-called Left-bank Ukraine) is actually on the right/east, and vice versa. Dnipro flows from the north, and the shores are designated as left and right while looking from the source.

Upper Egypt is called like that because for them makes sense that "up" is where the Nile water comes from, and "down" is where the water flows towards.

Back in the 1970s here in Australia there was a TV variety show which often had a sketch with an "elderly" couple discussing life. The husband would make a joke which the wife wouldn't get so his response was, which became a bit of a catchphrase, "That was a joke, Joyce". This preamble leads me to my reply to this comment: "That was a joke, Joyce"

Egyptians are not offended by a good joke, they are not Californians. The greatest unity of nations I have ever seen (and participated in) was in an Egyptian temple at night when some Germans walked down a corridor with their hands in front of them chanting "Imhotep, Imhotep" and all other tourists from all over the world joining them. The Egyptian tour guides were laughing and said they liked the movie.
So nice to see Paul Tylak here again! And his voice is a beautiful addition to the DoomDah 😃

Or to be a bit more precise: I don't think it is legitimate to sacrifice one normative principle in favour of the other if there is no inherent conflict between them. One can fight against systematic racism and also not distort historical facts.
Edit: For example, they could've made a documentary about the 25th (nubian) dynasty, but they chose to do the old, all to well known Cleopatra story and distort it to create a controversy.

@@Ensign_Roque That is true …. except there was an error, tickets said showtime 7pm to 10pm. We and many many others queued up before 7 outside the venue and when the doors opened, it was only then we learned the show did not start until 8pm. The first joke of the night and of course the lads incorporated this in their sketches. It was a beautiful evening and no one seemed to mind too much! I would happily queue up again to see them!
