Come to Peterborough FAH!
Vatican City isn't a part of the Commonwealth. But you know who iiisss...?
😈🇳🇿😂
Can we expect the European dates for next year to be announced soon?
Time for a quick trip to Rome?
Aberdeen. Please 🙏🏼
Arms is such a method actor. Wearing the collar, even though it wasn't seen in the video, that's commitment.
*Tears up in priest
I thought he was going to dress as the Pope!
That's probably his regular clothes...
A mitre would have been classic
But he was seen to two other actors, which was important for their immersion :D
My favourite joke of the ones we didn't include: Q: What law prohibits photography within the Sistine chapel?
A: Canon law
It's kind of terrible and kind of great. I might have laughed, I might have shook my head and said oh dear. So... I like it?
So, erm... that joke didn't make it into the canon?
One to say when visiting at Pentaxcost!
Cute!
Definitely a *Catholic* dad joke. Deserving of both a hearty laugh and a pained facepalm.
I see Arms went to the "How to act italian with your right hand" course 😅 Was worth every cent 😅
Brilliant ending! 😂
10 grand
Wooo expensive 😮
@@foilarmsandhogthough I heard the acting Italian with your left hand top up course has a discount. Bit sinister if you ask me.
@@foilarmsandhog 10,000 pennies = $100, that's a bargain but on an hourly basis, that's expensive 😅
I am a local and even I can't do it that well 👏
What type of women work in the Vatican?
'Nun'
Simple, effective, I laughed.
"Nun"😂 My favourite immigration sketch yet lads, great work!❤😊
Definetely one of the best and I'm actually not such a big fan of them. 🤫
damn it flew over my head
My dad was a nun…

Ooops! I missed that one 🙈
I love these immigration videos. Keep them coming!
Yeah! Until there is only New Zealand to go please! 😂😭😂
@@SamFAHntha Getting left off the maps again, are ya?
@@SamFAHntha as a fellow New Zealander I do wish for a New Zealand version yes
*Keep the immigration coming 😊
@@SamFAHnthaMaybe it's really too hard to immigrate to New Zealand for those two lads ?
My friend's mum (at the time a Church of Ireland curate) was turned away from the Vatican for having her shoulders uncovered. Her husband (at the time also a Church of Ireland curate) nearly said "But she's a priest" before realising that that probably wouldn't go down well in the Vatican.
(Edited to remove some potentially confusing commas)
Haha I've had so many of these moments..
Errrrrrr, he could be right 🤪🤪🤪🤪
I mean, just follow the dress code. 🤷♂️ In some countries way worse things will happen to you if you disrespect their religion with inappropriate clothing.
@@buskergirl absolutely. It was an innocent mistake. She didn't deliberately set out to violate the dress code, but the dress code exists and you have to accept that. I just thought her husband's reaction was funny.
It's so sad 🙄 the Italian catholic culture has some old questionable rules. I bet she was still showing modest elegance. Some people police others because they can. I used the sleeves of my shirt to cover my cleavage, and nuns got upset because I should have covered THE SHOULDERS.
I love that Arms wore a preist’s collar even tho he wasn’t filmed from the front in the sketch😂 And his voice got better as the amens kept coming 😍
As the priest I find the Nun/None joke hilarious! Great job.
Yeah even if it isn't actually true
So you are THE priest.
@@zanussidish5685There can be only one.
It didn't affect me, I'm nun the worse for it.
"So, you found that amusing?"
"Is the bear Catholic? Does the Pope shit in the woods?"
I did wonder if this was just going to be another chance for Arms to show off his vocal skills, but it was a lovely show of harmonizing from all of you in the outro
Yeah, it was awesome ☺️😊
@@Ensign_Roque the harmonies were reminiscent of the live show where they presented the audience member with a lanyard
@@squirrelsforshort3157yes!!
When he started singing the "Amen", I wondered if it was going to work its way round to the "doom-dah" tune (if we can call two notes a tune) but was not surprised when they converted the "Doom-dah" into a "Doom-dah-men"
He doesn't get enough chances! I want more. His voice is lovely
I thought he wasn't going to let them go until they put some money in the collection plate.
That would have been hilarious.
Goodness, the "wooded area" one took me a re-watch to get and now I'm cry-laughing 🤣
I don't get it :(
@DoctorDinosaur I had to re-watch and give some concentrated thought, and then do a little google search to confirm ... there are 2 rhetorical questions (is the Pope Catholic, and, does a bear sh*t in the woods) that are sometimes combined for emphasis and comedic effect - i.e. does the Pope ... in the woods?
@DoctorDinosaur it's an idiom. When someone asks you a question with an obvious answer, you can reply by saying "Does the pope sh*t in the woods?".
Masterful mixing of metaphors
Could you explain that one to me?
Holy smokes, those puns were immaculate.
I swear puns are their superpower haha

I'm glad you live in an Ireland where this might not get you killed. Great work as always fellas.
I'm quite glad to live here most of the time.
@@foilarmsandhog I've only been there once but it was great! I can imagine you like it in Ireland - although I went to the west coast and not Dublin xD
@@foilarmsandhog Can't be a bad spot if it keeps churning out such inventive and insightful observation. I stand by my opinion that your "Risk" sketch is the finest, most delicate writing I've come across in my 48 years. How you do that, and the immigration stuff, without even a hint of prejudice is beyond compare.
But not that long ago, Matt, there'd be a lot of upset mammies tutting and saying you shouldn't make fun of such things... probably riskier...
@@Cyberbeagle1000 You certainly sound like a man who knows his onions. I think it was Dave Allen that first started to tickle that particular spot?
Everyone who's been in church service from 9 AM until 4 PM can relate to that ending.
Again, that was just an excuse for Arms to sing, wasn't it? My favourite bits were the Papal PayPal, Foil desperately trying to hold back his laughing and the beautiful harmony at the end of the outro!
Arms didn't need to wear the Priest outfit but he did anyways. Love the commitment
I feel like he'd need no encouragement to put it on.

Well they were wrong 😅
Dave Allen??
Well, they slipped in the last one about burning parish records but I can't even disagree considering this pope and how the next election is looking.

@@SamFAHntha aww thanks Sam!! 😊😁
Clever, as always. Loved the endless singing of amen. I was recently at a Catholic service and my takeaway was “it’s very singy”
I always pack stealth snacks for Catholic weddings; they are long. My cousin’s was 2 hours.
By contrast, ours (the next Saturday, not Catholic) was about 45 minutes.
Conversely, while visiting Dublin my family attended an Evensong service and was disappointed that it contained no singing at all
you guys never fail to make the cheesiest puns into comedy gold. still laughing my arse off at "when in rome"
As always it's the expressions that made this! The ending was hilarious - the closer Hog got to laughing the closer I got. I broke first 😂
Love Foil already nearly breaking right at the beginning there 😆 and both Foil and Hog at the end 😁 You really had fun with this one, lads - as did I 😊
There was no take where they weren't laughing..
At the beginning it appeared that Foil was ready with a game show buzzer in hand
When was that? He seemed in character at the beginning
Arms showing of his vocal range at the end there, brava👏 I would have sat longer just to hear him go on😂
Yeah, sing more for us please ❤🙏🏽
Brava? What exactly does Arms identify as these days? 😂
Went to The Vactican in 2005 at age 17, not religious but happened to be there for Easter and the last public blessing by Pope John Paul II. Neither Claire or I had ever seen Nuns in real life before, we were fascinated. Everyone knew the Pope was going to die soon (in fact the week after), there so many American TV camera crews hanging around just in case 😕
I saw the tiniest Italian nun when I was in northern Italy. She had to have been 4’6” or so, but boy could she ever speed-walk. I was fascinated by her and her habit. My second interaction with Italian nuns was less fun-I accidentally wandered into a convent lol
Tell Claire I was asking for her ❤
Wait, are you saying nuns are rarely seen in other countries? You can see a lot of them in any church! Unless you're talking about those who live locked in nunneries...
I made friends with the nuns there. They run a b&b right across the street from the Musei Vaticani entrance.❤😂😂😂
@@J.o.s.h.u.a. Really depends on the country, yeah. I was heavily involved with the religious community where I live, and despite that, I've only seen Nuns during the annual easter dinner the parish priests had for themselves (How I got invited shall remain unsaid)
I'm ashamed to say the wooded area bit took me a moment - nice to have the question finally answered though😆
It's probably best you don't believe a word they say 🤣🤣🤣
I still didnt get it, ans I am a Roman Catholic and been to the Vatican several times ( even inside where it is closed to the public). Could someone enligthen me please?

I'm onto you, Arms!
I stumbled across an interesting piece of information last night.
"'Ducking' is a prison slang term for a technique through which prisoners modify the behaviour of correctional officers .... using manipulation and coercion. [A] prison staff member that has been manipulated is a 'duck'."
So that's why he's called Duck! He's nominally in charge, but in truth you've all manipulated him over the years. I've always wondered.
I knew you'd end it with doomdaaaamen 😂
_Three Drunken Monks_ is still one of my HOG favourites 👍

I saw you guys in MTL. I had a great time. Y'all were hilarious. Thanks for coming!
Arms flexing his acting with pen skills while bringing out the Greek mythology hands 😂
Acting with vocal chords 😂😂😂
One summer I had a guided group tour in an ancient church. The staff there gave all women scarfs to cover their shoulders before entering the church. But most of them just looked confused and wore it around their neck. No matter how much you tried to explain to them that they were doing it wrong. The staffs' look of annoyance and the womens (mostly middle aged) stoic refusal were so funny. I, the youngest, on the other hand got a big smile from a nun, who saw me put on my prepared shirt. Mum taught me well. 😅
Good on you.
That’s because us Yanks were taught to cover our head’s in church not our shoulders. That’s a new one to me. When hats were no longer in fashion and not available (but we were still expected to wear them) we’d carry these round lace head coverings called chaplets (I think) that were folded up and kept in your purse in a little case. They were secured to the top of the head with a bobby pin. The pin always got lost so you went into Mass with one hand holding the chaplet on your head and it kept blowing off.
@@polarbearhero9803 That's interesting and funny at the same time. Just imagining a windy day. I think the pope knows that struggle as well. I, a european rom. cath. was taught to cover the shoulders and that women can also put a veil or scarf on the head while men should take their hats off. Foreign countries, foreign customs.
"The Da Vinci Code" caught me off guard🤣
