“I never said Thank You…” “And you’ll never have too.” One of the most underrated lines in cinema history. Inspires selflessness, and integrity without requiring recognition.
Vindication for Gordon too, great moment for him. He's been rewarded for his years of honesty and goodwill by becoming the confidante of a real leader.

I love that Addie knew next to nothing about Batman before seeing this. It made the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne right in front of Bruce so much more impactful and dramatic for her. I loved it. Addie: Batman is... Terrifying. Me: Exactly. And that's what the criminals experience. The way she gasps and "Ahh! AAAAHHH!". She is totally getting the impact of all his fear tactics and theatrics. That's why they work. Great job Addie! I enjoyed it thoroughly! Keep up the Amazing work!!!
After the disaster that was 1997s Batman & Robin, I was cautiously optimistic for Batman Begins, and it didn't let me down, saw it twice the first day it was out.
I saw it twice in the theaters and then 5 on DVD. By the time the movie came out i had seen tow of Nolan's previous films, Memento and Insomnia so i had good hopes for the movie but was not ready for how damn good it was. This movie was one of my most satisfatory film experiences in my life.
Wow, someone completely new to this Batman universe. Since his comic book debut in 1939, Bruce Wayne/Batman has gone through different variations in media depending on the time period, but I always enjoy the darker and more grittier interpretations like this one. Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is amazing, so I can’t wait for you to see the next two films. I also love Batman (1989) directed by Tim Burton. It stars Michael Keaton as Batman, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. That’s a great film too, and I would definitely recommend that as well.
Here’s some facts to help guide you on Batman: He’s always blamed himself for his parents death and part of the reason of why he became Batman is because he promised them he would avenge their deaths by dedicating his life to protecting the city no matter what it cost him. In this case, it cost him happiness because he purposely reminds himself of the pain he feels from their deaths and uses that against the criminals he faces and he really doesn’t allow himself to be truly happy. In fact, one of the animated movies showed him finding a woman and falling in love but he felt so conflicted about it because he was about to become Batman but knew he couldn’t if he chose to be with the one he loves and he went to his parents grave and started crying and begging them to tell him it’s okay to be happy because he feels like his parents would want him to avenge their deaths no matter the cost when we know that isn’t the case. And referring to this trilogy, Nolan took a more realistic approach to the character to where it’s still comic accurate but made it more grounded and more possible if someone were to try this in real life but it still works and stays true to who Batman is. For The Dark Knight, Rachel is played by a new actress just FYI and you’ll be left in amazement by the joker

A young Bruce (Bale) travels to the Far East where he's trained in the martial arts by Ra's (Neeson), a member of the mysterious League of Shadows. When he reveals the League's true purpose, the complete destruction of Gotham City, he returns to Gotham intent on cleaning up the city without resorting to murder. 'Batman is terrifying.' Yes. In 99.9% of good portrayals he is exactly that. (0.1% variance because I am old enough that watching Batman '66 reruns on Sunday Morning while the folks visited their aunts and uncles is a cherished memory. Adam West wasn't Terrifying but he was cool. The exception that proves the rule.)

For the first time I just noticed upon meeting Ras Al Guhl, Bruce's face is all lit on the side opposite Ras and the shadowed side of his face is towards Ras like from now on he's either on a destructive path or Batman.
Watch Michael Keatons Batman and Batman Returns..also, there's a great animated movie called Batman:Mask of the Phantasm. Before Begins, Bale was was basically skin n bones for a role he played in Machinist..he had to gain like 50 to 60 lbs of weight n muscle for Batman pretty quickly. Bales breakout role though is American Psycho..a must watch.

"Did the guy [Chill] know them? Were they shot on purpose?" That is the thing: DC has officially washed their hands of any reason why Thomas and Martha Wayne were killed. Its has been officially declared as a open mystery with no answer. There have been "rumored" reasons why that individual writers write into their stories, but none are more "real" than any other, there is NO hard canon reasons given. Hell, DC hasn't even set officially WHO kills them, many writers include different killers. Douglas Chill is common, Jack Napier is another name; Sometime they have it "revealed" that the Waynes were murdered by this or that supervillain as the supervillain was starting their villainous career.
Like joker...I think it being random and a guy named joe chill aka john doe but chilling cause of what he did works the best...it was a helpless situation...makes you feel bad for chill in a way and I hate that they killed him off cause that's not how it should go down or at least give bruce a moment to speak to him Iike in the canon before you axe him...
Thank you, Addie. You made sense of something that's bothered me for years. 18:33 Whenever I watch this scene, I've been thinking, "wait, that's not the same coat. That one's old and ratty." A new Batman movie is coming out 3 months from now and they released 2 trailers for it so far. Would be nice to see someone new to the Batman Mythos react to it. But only after you watched the remaining 2 movies in this trilogy.

Yes.
“Poor child”. Lol you definitely haven’t seen Game of Thrones! He’s a menace in that show
I love your reactions. Even if you don't know anything about Batman you got the gist of it better than almost anyone else I've seen doing a reaction to this kind of thing.
Can’t wait to see you watch the dark knight and it’s better than the first movie.
great reaction loved it :)

People would dig a well and then line it so that the sides didn't collapse thus blocking the well.
in fairness Batman stuff varies in quality wildly, but the DK trilogy.Nolan Trilogy are some of the best superhero movies ever made. Hell Id make a case that the Dark Knight is flat out one of the best movies ever made, period!
Christopher Nolan made the most realistic Batman trilogy - it's a masterpiece.
"i'm afraid of snakes but i wouldn't become Snake-Woman." WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T YOU???
For the first time I just noticed upon meeting Ras Al Guhl, Bruce's face is all lit on the side opposite Ras and the shadowed side of his face is towards Ras like from now on he's either on a destructive path or Batman.
@ADDIE cOUNTS-A QUICK FYI 28:02 SCENE BOY IS Joffrey from game of thrones.
I love your reactions as you watch movies
Watch Michael Keatons Batman and Batman Returns..also, there's a great animated movie called Batman:Mask of the Phantasm.
Before Begins, Bale was was basically skin n bones for a role he played in Machinist..he had to gain like 50 to 60 lbs of weight n muscle for Batman pretty quickly.
Bales breakout role though is American Psycho..a must watch.
Addie Counts the Pistol caliber this incarnation of Falcone pulls on Bat's be4 Bat's becomes Bat's is .45 ACP which is 1 of the strongest/most deadly/most powerful Pistol rounds in the world that you'll have 2 be through physique an incredibly durable 😤/incredibly strong 💪 fighter 2 survive/withstand being hit in the chest by a single .45 ACP round (bullet) - 7 .45 ACP rounds (bullets) - more than 7 .45 ACP rounds (bullets) without bulletproof/bullet resistant armor vest!
Its actually refreshing watching someone who doesnt know Batmans origin story.
Wonderful selection. Wonderful reaction vid. Thanks for that.
I hope you give Superman (1978) a try some day :)
Addie is a trip😀😀😀
"Did the guy [Chill] know them? Were they shot on purpose?"
That is the thing:
DC has officially washed their hands of any reason why Thomas and Martha Wayne were killed.
"Joe Chill" is also common.
Thank you, Addie. You made sense of something that's bothered me for years. 18:33 Whenever I watch this scene, I've been thinking, "wait, that's not the same coat. That one's old and ratty." I thought they just filmed the scene with the wrong coat. No, it's been seven years; it's become ratty since then. Duh.
A new Batman movie is coming out 3 months from now and they released 2 trailers for it so far. Would be nice to see someone new to the Batman Mythos react to it. But only after you watched the remaining 2 movies in this trilogy.
The 🐐 of batman movies. 👌
you need to turn up the volume on the watched content
