Love that ending line. Really just cements who Bruce is as a person and how much he loves Gotham despite its many flaws. “I never said thank you.” “And you’ll never have to.”
Nolans "solutions" to the more comic booky elements to keep it as grounded as possible are pretty interesting to me. Like R'as and the immortality/Lazarus Pit being made in to more of a legacy title and such. They all still make sense to varying degrees and you can tell thought went in to making it coherent.
I like that Nolan used much of the "Batman: Year One" graphic novel story in the plot. He seems to honor the source material as opposed to a lot of the super hero movies these days. I saw interview with Gary Oldman where he was happy to get this role cuz it was one of the few roles his kids see him as the good guy. Gave him a little chuckle saying that. So true.
Ras isnt immortal in these movies. The immortal part of his was that he uses decoys and never reveals his identity. So if someone kills ras he is not killing the real one bit just the decoy
Even in other stuff he's not really immortal, it's the Lazarus Pit that gives him anything resembling immortality since he can still be killed. The Lazarus pits can heal people and bring the dead back to life but without their mind/"soul" (that part can usually come back but the longer the person has been dead the longer it seems to take).

Having read and seen most of the Batman media out there, including the original gun toting era, I must say I love them all. I like some more than others, but they are all interesting. As you guys stated, the villains, and really the world around Batman really make each comic, movie etc. I am so glad you are checking out the Nolan series. It's a great version.
In my heart, Batman Begins has one of the best mixes of realism and comic book fantasy in a Batman film. Moments like his first appearance at the docks, “Backup”, and the final Bat-signal scene are so comic booky and great additions. What keeps it grounded are the great themes and messages along the way.
Side characters in Nolan's trilogy are just amazing. Michael Caine's Alfred. Gary Oldman's Gordon. Morgan Freeman's Fox. Top notch actors playing characters that have serious impacts on the story. Plus Nolan focused more on Bruce Wayne's story rather than Batman. This trilogy is sooo special.
Rachel said that at the end because a lot of speculation with Batman and Bruce is that Batman is actually the person and Bruce is actually the mask he wears. That's why she said that
Aside from some comic inaccuracies, trying to make stuff more grounded/ realistic, and Rachel just not being that great…this movie is awesome! Some people nowadays kinda dismiss the Nolan trilogy saying that it’s only loved cause of nostalgia, but I think this movie holds up very well. Bale is great in the role, great Alfred, great Lucius, and great Gordon. Ra’s and Scarecrow were great bad guys, this is just the beginning for more. I actually really dig this as an origin movie and consider it one of the best superhero origin movies as well as a great movie. These movies made me love Nolan and created a whole new generation of fans. Great video!
Fun fact They filmed that fight scene on an actual frozen lake so the ice you hear cracking is the actual ice cracking. Because the next day when they went More filming they found that the ice had Thin way too much for they couldn't fill any more on it
I liked Reeves and Pattinsons direction they were trying to go. But overall I don't think the movie was good. I do like to see the detective batman though. The fighting was good imo. Dialogue wasn't great, needs improvement - Gordon says something, batman pauses for 10 seconds then responds, then Gordon waits a bit then responds. Taking a really long time to say so little. I get that he slow walks/turns so he can record everything, but we don't need to see him take 10 minute walks as Bruce Wayne just to talk to Falcone. It also felt like they were trying to hypnotize us by playing Nirvana on loop for a long time lol. Also, not much time with Alfred. I'm glad you enjoyed it
I love how Nolan reinterpreted the idea that Ras never dies. How Bruce has nightmares about him constantly. Its like Ras says to batman at the start of the film “If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, and if they can't stop you, then you become something else entirely.” Anyone could be batman the same way anyone could have been Ras. Genius man
It's funny when people talk about Christian Bale, nobody ever mentions Empire of the Sun. But as a kid, I remembered his character very vividly. But I had no idea who he was.
So excited for you to see all the other live-action Batman and Superman films! Grew up on the Nolan films (but was introduced to Batman through Burton's iteration from a DVD my parents bought) and on the Reeve films and I'm sure you'll enjoy em as much as you enjoyed the animated series/films!
I'm in my late 30's, so most people would assume that my first exposure would be the Tim Burton Batman. But no. Believe it or not, my very first exposure to Batman was the black and white Batman episodic serials staring Lewis Wilson from 1943, which was the very first ever on-screen appearance of the hero. It was on a set of VHS tapes I got at Toys'R'Us when I was little. From there, I grew up on The Animated Series which greatly expanded on my exposure to the character, which led to the comics and later the live action movies. My "canon" Batman will forever be Kevin Conroy. The Christian Bale movies have always been something of a mixed bag for me. Growing up on the serials and the animated series, I had a very firm internal idea of who Batman was, and while the Christian Bale Batman movies are absolutely amazing superhero movies, I've always thought that they weren't great *Batman* movies. Batman from the animated series and the comics is just a different person to me entirely. I see Batman as someone who was so utterly consumed by the drive to right the wrongs of his parents' murder that he traveled the world as a teen *training* for his life as The World's Greatest Detective. The Batman I know is renowned and revered by the other Justice League members as having an indomitable will as his super power. So seeing Christian Bale portray him as this sort of "lost soul" at the beginning just doesn't resonate with me. Then there's all the little nitpicky things as an existing fan that I know do not matter whatsoever, but bother me anyway. Like the fact that in the comics, he was *not* trained by Ra's Al Ghul, and the difference in pronunciation of Ra's' name. I grew up with it being pronounced "Ray-sh", not "Raz.". In fact there's even a scene in the Batman Beyond animated series where Talia even corrects the main character on that very thing. So to see most people, who've only ever been exposed to these movies, pronounce it like "Raz" has always bothered me. I know it shouldn't matter. But it does. And that just adds to all the other little problems I have seeing the Nolan films as good *Batman* films. They're excellent masterpieces of cinema, but it's not the best interpretation of *Batman*, or his detective skills, in my honest opinion.
@@SyntheticFrost Just the mention of a certain character who shows up in Batman Beyond. Not sure how mods would react to it so as Meg is making her way through the DCAU so it could be a spoiler for that universe.
This is my favorite live action Batman movie. I love the build up in his origin. This was definitely inspired by Batman: Year One in a huge way. My favorite scene is the first with Luscious Fox
Don’t worry guys, all of the live action movies are on the list. They just decided to start with the classic Nolan trilogy, but fear not because they will also do Adam West and Michael Keaton and… George Clooney :)😅
@João Jardim I can understand not wanting George Clooney, but why not Adam West? His performance as Batman is great. It's not what we usually see Batman as anymore, but it's still a good performance.
To me this was the best Batman movie. I especially love the end from Lt. Gordon to Batman. "I never said thank you." Batman, "And you will never have to." Chills such a good line from a hero. I like that you did point out. Yes Bruce/Batman is the symbol, but Alfred, Lucis, and even Rachel is all helping to make their city better. Batman just their vehicle to push it along. Batman makes the criminals have an extra worry. Like Frank Castle in the Punisher...if criminal see the skull on his chest, or even knowing he is on their radar, they know it is over. It psychologically a smart play using criminals' tactics against them.
In my mind, I think Ras in this is a title or, like you guys said, an idea. Someone takes up the name so that the League never dies with him. And if you think about it, Ras Al Ghul translates to Head of the Demon, making it sound even more like a moniker
Rachel was a great subversion of the "Bond girl" sort of love interests Batman usually gets. She doesn't have feelings for Batman unlike others, she loves Bruce and overall, wants him to heal as well as help Gotham. She want for him what Thomas had. She's a childhood friend and a protagonistic version of Thomas Elliot. She was also kept in the dark for most of what Bruce was doing throughout his journey. She was let down by her friend when he was resorting to his baser instincts like "I just want my parent's murderer to die." and then when he returned he never got in touch. the only updates she got were through the tabloids. For all she knew, he came back after seven years, got his money back and started "swimming".
I love Batman Begins it's one of my favorite films ever now I don't generally like superhero films I'm more of a animation guy because I think animation does a better job at staying true to the characters than live action does but Batman Begins is goated great film
Unpopular opinion but I think this is my favourite movie in the Nolan trilogy with The Dark Knight being a close second. Cillian murphy as Scarecrow is super underrated. I love Gordon & Batmans friendship. Thank you so much for keeping your reaction in of the ending scene when Gordon says ‘I never said thank you’ and Batman replies ‘And you’ll never have to’. I just love that coz it shows who Batman truly is 🦇 🔥
Aside from Ras-Al-Ghuls Death, Batman's "No Killing" rule being stretched a bit, the choppy editing of the fight scenes, and Rachel as a character feeling very shoe-horned in (which makes sense since she was an original creation for this series) I consider this to be a perfect movie and personally my favorite of the trilogy. It's the one that felt the most like a Batman/Bruce Wayne movie, it had a perfect balance of comic book silliness and grounded reality.
Bits and pieces of his origin and relationship to the villains have been told in various comics, but never all together at one time. This version takes some liberties in order to tie things together. Great flick.
Now THIS is a reaction. I love this series and have watched so many reactions of it and I think you are the best out of all of them. You guys bring so much energy, personality and thoughts to add to the reaction, and you take your time before and after. Very impressed and looking forward to the next two.
In your own time or one day on the channel, I think you guys would love Gotham (the tv show). It's very divisive because it's "Batman without Batman", but it plays with the larger mythos of Gotham and Batman stuff in a fun way. I think you'd enjoy seeing the different take on some of the characters, especially when you've seen a few more interpretations of the characters.
I'm convinced the way they came up with story archs after season 1 was by pulling ideas out of a hat and finding ways to put it all together. It was very entertaining
How did you find the voice btw after spending so much time with Kevin Conroy? I personally was never too big on Christian Bale's Batman voice but you kind of get use to it by the next movie. There's so many collegehumor videos where they recreate scenes using Bales voice and it's just so funny so I think those videos just destroyed his voice for me. Overall besides the voice this is my favourite movie in the Nolan trilogy from the Gotham City to the overall tone and colour grading not to mention this really being the first Batman film that showcases more of his early childhood and adulthood. I was never too big on the more grounded setting, Nolan was a little too grounded for my liking more so in the later films. Ras for example is not immortal in this universe instead using decoys which gives the illusions that he's immortal. This is a cool concept one I do like but the grounded setting always limit what Nolan could do and the villains he could use. Was never a big fan of the idea of "Gotham could be any city" which is why the city got more generic over the course of the trilogy. Gotham is as much of a character as Batman so turning it into generic American City Number 15 just never did it for me. But I know there's plenty of people who were introduced to Batman by these movies so they grew up with a more grounded look at the character which is cool removing any of the more complex comic book stuff. I know alot of my friends had massive whiplash when they read the comics, Watch earlier Batman movies or when they played the Arkham games and saw characters like Killer Croc or saw the more timeless Gotham City with blimps and people working around in a mix of 1930s clothing while using old and new tech in The Animated Series and Arkham games. Just two very different styles that would give any new Batman fan whiplash. No offence to anyone who likes the depiction of Gotham in these movies btw glad people enjoy it. Batman Returns, Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Beyond: Title may be spoilers, and The Batman are my personal favourites but this film is up there. Dark Knight is overall seen as the better film but I personally prefer Begins in terms of the aesthetic, architecture, and tone. Hope you have a blast with these movies and hopefully you check out the Tim Burton movies and even the Joel Schumacher films. Batman Forever I adore but yeah Batman and Robin is pretty... You'll find out. Oh Yeah and the Adam West Batman movie as well.
It's the best around... No one's ever gonna bring it down (unless the sequel to The Batman is phenomenal). 1:01:53 I like this reimagining of a more grounded method of immortality for Ra's; the League has a guy who fits the description and treats him as the leader, yet he's merely a decoy for the true leader in the shadows and can be replaced if slain. I hope that you watch Gotham Knight as well; it's a sort of expansion to this film and has some jaw-droppingly beautiful animation
I think the character choices for Rachel were spot on , I'd say she still has a chip on her shoulder from when she was a child and her mom was a maid at Wayne Manor. Which is why she kinda talks down to him in a way
Also the fact that his parents were big philanthropists, and the last times she saw Bruce he was: A) Intending to murder someone out of selfishness, B) Acting like a spoiled rich asshole In her eyes, he's fallen far from the good people his parents were, and isn't doing a damn thing to help the city despite the fact that he can. Like, when Chill got shot, it wasn't a "I need to see this so I know that it's bad", it was "I need to see him die, this is what I wanted"
@@Eidlones That would be how she views it sure but he's extremely traumatized and she doesn't have an ounce of warmth for him or understand. It's just like suck it up you're rich which is particularly cold which I think comes from discontent of her childhood. Even in TDK she doesn't really respect him.
@@youngeeneden1594 I understand but considering the level of trauma there are many different ways to deliver that message. She chose the harshest, sometimes that's the correct course of action but damn.
I feel like people who watch Batman Begins for the first time are way too harsh on Rachel and its honestly kind of frustrating sometimes. Bruce objectively has his head stuck up his ass and is constantly taking his emotions out on other people, even if the context of why is understandable. If someone that I loved came to me and confessed that they almost attempted murdering another person (even if that person deserved it), I would also be furious with them. Because of how much I care for them and because I don't want to see their life change for the worse. It's not just the fact that killing another human being inherently changes you, it's also the fact that this person that I love is going to be put into prison for years. Even if Bruce killing Chill would be seen by many as justice, the law is the law, and someone killing a paroled criminal is still going to get charged with murder. This person's actions, regardless of the reasons behind them, would saddle their family and friends with trauma and outside scrutiny, which the family/friend group doesn't deserve.
I know this is going to crush Meg's heart, in the Comics, Bruce and Thomas go to a Jewelry Store in Star City (Yes, Green Arrow's hometown) and Bruce picks out the Pearl Necklace that Joe Chill goes after and leads to Martha and Thomas Wayne's Murder.
One of the issues this trilogy has is Rā's al Ghūl not being Arabic as he is described in the comics, the Animated Series and the Arkham games. Also, the name Rā's al Ghūl is Arabic for "The Demon's Head". The Arabic pronunciation for the first syllable is "Rah-us". The character's creator however chose to use the Hebrew pronunciation "Raysh". Also the whole "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you" is widely hated by fans. Batman in the comics goes out of his way to save criminals even when their lives are in danger which is a core essential of his character. These films also totally mishandled Scarecrow. Jonathan Crane was initially billed as the main villain of Batman Begins, before the reveal that Ra's al Ghul is the real mastermind. Scarecrow is one of Batman's greatest rogues, but the films he's appeared in would not have you think so. I really hope Matt Reeves uses him in the future now has the perfect opportunity to redeem the character after the Christopher Nolan films brutally underused him.
When Ra's says Bruce left him for dead, he's not talking about Ducard. Bruce was mistaken about who Ra's Al Ghul was, but he did in fact burn Ra's Al Ghul's house, and leave who he believed to be Ra's Al Ghul for dead.
'I can't imagine growing up with the animated series, and then, they come out with this movie. I would DIE!' Yes. haha I was a kid when BTAS was on, and watched it religiously. After living through the hell of the Schumacher Batfilms, Batman Begins came along and brought to life the Batman I knew and loved from the comics and BTAS, in a way that had never been done in live action, to that point. It was a real milestone for the superhero genre, in general, but for a 25 year old Batfan, it was like a miracle.
Omg the feeling of watching this movie in theaters when I was 15 it was incredible! I remember thinking holy cow they actually did it they made Batman right and I think one of the writers of the comics thought the same. This trilogy and the Batman are the best live action bat films Nolan and Reeves understood the character so well
Denny O'Neil (co-creator of Ra's al Ghul) wrote the novelization of Batman Begins and incorporated a lot of his background for Ra's into the book (including a reference to Talia).
Love Cillian Murphy as well.... and really looking forward to Oppenheimer. A lesser known movie of his that is really great and and a little dark is a movie called Sunshine (about 2006 or 2007). Has lots of top notch actors that are very well known now, but weren't at the time too much. You guys should check that out, I think you would both like it.
In the classic comics and old cartoons, Thomas and Martha were millionaires and Bruce`s inheritance after their murder as well as the accolades Gotham officials gave for their philanthropic work made him a billionaire.
So, in comic fantasy land, Ra's uses Lazarus pits to reanimate...SOMEtimes his recent corpse. But in this, not only are the pits not a thing, but he was brutally thrashed in a train crash and the exploded by a microwave emitter....explosion....like right on him. There's no corpse, lol.
I think it should go without saying that if someone can say “please don’t show us Thomas and Martha Wayne dying for the thousandth time” and still be effected by its depiction (when it inevitably happens because Bruce is ✨never going to get over it✨), it says a lot about the people working on it, and how well they understand it in order to still get us to care like Batman cares. Can’t wait for more :)
I wish everyone reacted to this movie the way Meg did. This is my favorite movie in the trilogy. I still remember how I felt in the movie theater 18 years ago when the movie ended. It was the most satisfied I had ever been after a movie (at that point). (And in my opinion), the Rachel character is the worst part of this entire franchise.
"2020, 2019, matt reeves batman" mind u it came out last year 😭 time is going by so fast and slow at the exact same time. i also had to Google when it came out
Interesting fact when filming the training sword fight on the ice it was very dangerous as they were late in the season and the ice was actually melting down at this point
The idea of "Gotham as a twisted version of New York" is common, though these movies modelled it more on Chicago, which they used for a lot of the location filming. Gotham is, of course, an old nickname for New York, and a reference to an old story about a village near Nottingham in the UK (the village's name is pronounced "Goat-ham"), where the inhabitants pretended to be crazy to discourage the King from having a road built through their village. Different depictions have treated Gotham City differently, but one common idea in the comics is that *both* Gotham and Metropolis represent New York... Gotham is New York in the rain at midnight in winter, while Metropolis is New York in the sun at noon in the summer. In the comics, they're often located close together: Gotham in New Jersey, and Metropolis in Delaware, on opposite sides of the Delaware Bay.
Feels very outdated now tbh at least in how the cities are depicted visually. Metropolis originally was based more on Toronto the co creator of Superman Joe Shuster, modelled Metropolis skyline after his hometown. While Gotham to me is more of a mix of Glasgow and New York City. But the idea is still pretty true i just feel that Gotham has moved away from being a New York clone same with Metropolis as well both developing their own aesthetic. That's something I'm not big on with alot of the film they treat both Metropolis and Gotham as New York, Chicago, etc. I saw the sets for the Flash and Batgirl films in Glasgow and they looked amazing visually with American style stores to the backdrop of Glasgow's Gothic architecture. The Batman as well looks amazing.
For your comment about being a new fan, I’d say that if you’ve been a fan longer than a year, you no longer Count as a “new” fan. Glad you enjoyed the movie. Also what you said at 15:07, the reason why Batman never went after the guy who killed his parents, was because he was never captured and his identity was unknown. That’s kind of Batman’s driving force for being Batman, but I think it works here.
My favorite superhero used to be Batman, then it was The Flash, but now it's Green Lantern. There's just something so interesting about the Green Lantern mythos as a whole. Granted Hal Jordan might not be likable for everyone - the Lantern villains themselves are great; Dex-Starr is a really cool cat 😎
They didn't make the Lazerus Pits part of the story, instead Ra's as a name was immortal because just like in the show Arrow when the Leader known as Ra's is nearing the end of his life he chooses a apprentice that he trains to become Ra's when he is gone.
Funnily enough, in The Comics Ducard who was created by Sam Hamm who wrote the screenplay for Batman(1989) starring Michael Keaton, Kim Basinger and Jack Nicholson trained Bruce to be a detective and what is Ra`s known for always referring to Batman as?"Detective". See M. Night? That is how you do a twist without insulting the audience`s intelligence! It's not that difficult!
The best thin about this movie? There were lots before it that showed WHY Bruce became the Batman. But this one's the only that told of the hell Bruce put himself through to become the Dark Knight--He left everything he knew and dove into an ugly world, then the toughness of his training for 7 years which would have broke any one else. Now that's commitment.
I like how Thomas Wayne, even though he doesn't need to be, his passion is to be a Doctor, I wouldn't be surprised, if he did not take a salary as a Doctor, he did not the Money.
amazing reaction really i cant wait to see the next two movies with u guys thx for the reaction was chill actions laugh i loved both of your reaction here is one more sub :)

I have the "I don't have to save you" line. Make no mistake, if you leave somebody in a burning building knowing they won't be able to get out, that's still murder. But then this Batman is fairly liberal with killing just like the '89 version, I just dislike that he's being a hypocrite about it.
Maybe Batman won't murder people outright but death by fault is something he has to live with. Also in arkham games punching people, hanging them upside down, choking them out and throwing sharp batarangs in faces is not very no kill rule.
Because the next day when they went More filming they found that the ice had Thin way too much for they couldn't fill any more on it
Reeves and Pattinson’s take on Batman is my favorite rn but these movies changed the game for “comic book” movies
I'd remove the Batman Beyond information just for future spoilers incase you're comment gets removed.
@@CaptainAmercia I edited it to be more vague, but I'm unsure how what little I mentioned is a spoiler in any way.
@@SyntheticFrost Just the mention of a certain character who shows up in Batman Beyond. Not sure how mods would react to it so as Meg is making her way through the DCAU so it could be a spoiler for that universe.
@@CaptainAmercia Ah, gotcha. Well, I've fixed it as much as I can.
Quit trying to stir up controversy
This is my favorite live action Batman movie. I love the build up in his origin. This was definitely inspired by Batman: Year One in a huge way. My favorite scene is the first with Luscious Fox
Don’t worry guys, all of the live action movies are on the list. They just decided to start with the classic Nolan trilogy, but fear not because they will also do Adam West and Michael Keaton and… George Clooney :)😅
Damn, even Clooney? That's some real commitment.
yayyyyy!!!!!!
@João Jardim I can understand not wanting George Clooney, but why not Adam West? His performance as Batman is great. It's not what we usually see Batman as anymore, but it's still a good performance.
@João Jardim Then don't watch it. Let Meg enjoy it if she wants to.
"I've seen it a bunch of times, like 5 or 6, since it came it"
Me - "Those are rookie numbers."
Your initial face when Thomas got shot was a great impression of me when I saw Batman vs Superman. I love your reactions!!
I've been a Batman fan ever since I was five years old. I was addicted to the old Adam West TV show. That was 48 years ago.
I agree, been waiting for people to react to that series. I've only seen like 2 reactors in my search when I check.
Michael Caine as Alfred gives such a heartfelt and warm portrayal of the character. I love him so much
I friggin' love this movie! It never gets old. The cast is amazing.
Which is why she kinda talks down to him in a way
Also the fact that his parents were big philanthropists, and the last times she saw Bruce he was: A) Intending to murder someone out of selfishness, B) Acting like a spoiled rich asshole
In her eyes, he's fallen far from the good people his parents were, and isn't doing a damn thing to help the city despite the fact that he can.
@@elitexpgaming1810 but it’s not cold and that’s not what she was saying, she was saying to be better.
39:48 “all it takes it just one tip of the scale and then they start getting scared.”
Joke from DK - “Yeah, this guys gets it!”
Should be noted ras is also half Chinese in the comics. His dad is Chinese and his mother is Arabic.
actually Arabic pronunciation is raa - is. not ra's like people keep saying. you can asked any Arab how to spell it in correct way
I grew up with the animated series and when this came out I was so excited.
When Ra's says Bruce left him for dead, he's not talking about Ducard. Bruce was mistaken about who Ra's Al Ghul was, but he did in fact burn Ra's Al Ghul's house, and leave who he believed to be Ra's Al Ghul for dead.
34:12 the first trailer for this movie I saw, and just from that little scene, I had chills!
'I can't imagine growing up with the animated series, and then, they come out with this movie. I would DIE!'
Yes. haha I was a kid when BTAS was on, and watched it religiously.
Been waiting for this reaction from you guys!!! One of my favorite Batman films of all time! Great job guys
There's no corpse, lol.
ive been waiting for this reaction trilogy! i love these movies
I'm so excited to see what you think of Mask of the Phantasm, as it also goes deep into Batman's origins!
"2020, 2019, matt reeves batman" mind u it came out last year 😭 time is going by so fast and slow at the exact same time. i also had to Google when it came out
Thank you for sharing your reaction to this.
That’s kind of Batman’s driving force for being Batman, but I think it works here.
i hate when they rebooting comic then introduced killer name
Nope new fan
@@youngeeneden1594 what’s the length of time that one’s not a new fan anymore?
My favorite superhero used to be Batman, then it was The Flash, but now it's Green Lantern.
There's just something so interesting about the Green Lantern mythos as a whole. Granted Hal Jordan might not be likable for everyone - the Lantern villains themselves are great; Dex-Starr is a really cool cat 😎
Interesting! Mine are Batman, Spiderman, and The Flash
Eagerly waiting for that The Dark Knight reaction
I've been waiting for this so long 🥲🤗
Same
Been waiting for this one!! Great reaction!! Can’t wait for the next!! 😆
I remember having crazy chills seeing that joker card for the 1st time
amazing reaction really i cant wait to see the next two movies with u guys thx for the reaction was chill actions laugh i loved both of your reaction here is one more sub :)
Been waiting for this since you watched the trailers.💙
I would highly recommend watching the tim Burton/ Michael Keaton Batman movies, for one the Batsuit, and the Batmobile were the best. And there just really entertaining movies. Also Michael Keaton is coming back as Batman in the flash movie.
A couple years ago I got a Batman begins game at a game store around when I was watching a bit of Batman movies so before then I always thought the Arkham series came first!
I have been waiting for this!!! Let’s gooooooo!!!
Oh there is a specific order to the DC animated Movie Universe btw. And RIP Kevin Conroy.
I'm 21 now I've loved batman for every. He is my favorite. I grew up watching Michael Keaton, George clueney batman on vhs. This trilogy is the best batman movies. Patterson is definitely second.

She won't love man of steel. The Christopher Reeves version would be better. He had qualities Meg liked in Clark which Man of Steel entirely removed.
@@hashterg5024 she seems to like the darker aspects of heroes & how they deal with trauma & adversity & move forward(Kratos, Daredevil, Batman). I think the more modern/surface level nuance of a different interpretation of superman would be interesting to watch her react to. The superman animated series is basically Christopher reeve in cartoon form which she is currently watching & enjoying. Her watching Reeve would just be more of the same. Wouldn’t be as entertaining. Man of Steel has aged like fine wine. I totally feel she would appreciate it.
8:35 Spoiler alert, that's never gonna happen.
Watching Bruce's parents die & seeing what causes Victor Stone to become Cyborg are like DC staples now.
The whole third act of the movie is the same plot as the animated show episode 'dreams in darkness' where scarecrow's fear toxin dissolved in city's water supply.
Highly recommend watching Batman: Gotham Knight Animated Movie it takes in the Nolan universe and it’s before the Dark Knight
cant believe you havent watched Batman Mask of the Phantasm yet 😩
She will once she finishes Season 1 of BTAS
I have the "I don't have to save you" line. Make no mistake, if you leave somebody in a burning building knowing they won't be able to get out, that's still murder. But then this Batman is fairly liberal with killing just like the '89 version, I just dislike that he's being a hypocrite about it.
Maybe Batman won't murder people outright but death by fault is something he has to live with. Also in arkham games punching people, hanging them upside down, choking them out and throwing sharp batarangs in faces is not very no kill rule. At least in the animated batman game you cuff criminals ones you knock them down.
Welcome to my life 😉 Batman is my absolute favorite superhero. I watched the animated series every day after school - and while I'm old enuf to have seen Michael Keaton as the first Batman... Christian Bale is my fave!!!! 🥰🤘❤️🔥
