Amazing!!! The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of the best movie series ever made. Please do more Nolan movie reaction. Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk and Tenet are all amazing!

And Addie, Bruce himself fixed the auto-pilot system from the bat, in the lasts scenes Lucius Fox discovers that he did it a few months before the bom incident, and thats how he survives, he probably jumped and flyed after securing the bat's direction.
By far, the best Batman trilogy that I've ever seen....well see if Matt Reeves does his trilogy, but for now,Christopher Nolan's gritty, realistic and wonderfully shot and acted movies about the Caped Crusader are some of the best superhero movies of all time...
At some point... You need to watch "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm", as well as the rest of the original Warner Brothers "Batman the Animated Series" Cartoons! The Batman. As I grew up with him in the 90s. Mask of the Phantasm has the best version of the theme song of all time. (Even though it's a one off!) when you went to the theatre as a kid it was the coolest thing ever. Plus it's got some of the best voice acting performances ever! And the setting, with the vintage/gothic art deco styling. It's classic Batman at it's best.
Bruce Wayne trying to convey to Gordon that he was his hero growing up, and Addie jumped in with the stupid interjection of talking about the auto pilot in such an emotional moment.
39:14 They did tell you how Bruce survived. When Fox was going over the Bat at the end, they discovered that Bruce had fixed the autopilot. Again, another movie better on IMAX. The opening scene with Bane was shot with IMAX cameras. It was something to see on a seven story tall screen.
With you finishing the Nolan's Dark Knights trilogy you could react to the amazing Tim Burton Batman films Batman 1989 and Batman Returns. Burtons depiction of Gotham is so unique and inspired the look and feel of Gotham for many years from the amazing Animated Series (even used the Danny Elfman theme from the movie) to the fantastic Batman Arkham Games (which were actually based more on the Animated series even using the same voice actors) all taken inspiration from Burton. His Gotham has this Dark Deco 1930s Dystopian City look with a mix of 1930s to 1950s fashion and modern late 1980s the movie came out in 1989. There’s also a lot of industrial areas combined with Art Deco and Gothic architecture the whole city just looks amazing. The animated series went more into the 1930s artistic but was set in the Modern Day 1990s. I would also recommend Batman: Mask of the Phantasm from 1993 a origin to the Animated Series Batman kind of like Batman Begins. Metropolis is the opposite has a more 1950s futuristic look but this was never depicted in the Superman movies we still have to see a true comic accurate Metropolis but the new Suicide Squad game looks to be extremely close to that look. As much as I love the Nolan Batman films the last two kind of fell flat on there renditions of Gotham compared to Batman begins. The Dark Knight is amazing but I wish the city didn’t just look like Chicago while Returns is just Gotham in the day. Overall I personally place this last in the trilogy with Begins my personal favourite. List if you want to get more into Batman Batman 1989 Batman Returns Batman The Animated Series (And Stand Alone animated movies) Batman Arkham Trilogy of games.
Omg that would be great. Yeah I do agree that Burtons Gotham was more unique and memorable but Batman begins had a great rendition of a more modern Gotham City but still had those gothic dystopian elements.
Batman the Animated Series (cartoon tv show/series) // it has the whole plot that you get in little pieces in this trilogy, though it goes more fantasy than realistic (the trilogy kept it realistic instead) with the Lazarus Pits (green lava volcanoes), enabling Raz al' Ghoul to be "truly" immortal, though it also makes you more violent and wild and strong (like the gas that created the green goblin in spiderman), this is just epic (so dark, like much in the 90s, love it), best batman cartoon tv series, and best joker (mark hamil, of luke skywalker star wars fame, VA's him), really good design of the joker, one of the 3 best jokers Batman Beyond (cartoon tv show/series) // it's decent-good, but it didn't last very long, it had potential, sighs, anyways, batman (bruce wayne) is now old, so a younger new person takes his place, though in one episode, bruce wayne is dying, but he goes and uses the Lazarus Pit, like Raz al' Ghoul, "rejuvanting" bruce wayne, keeping him alive, and making him young again, but violent and wild and strong... --------- Mask of the Phantasm (animated/cartoon movie) is okay, there's nothing bad about it, but nothing super great about it either, for a 90s animated/cartoon movie, it's good ---------- Batman (1989) movie is a really good movie, rivals the trilogy in its own way, even though it's just a single movie, the joker is excellent, due to jack nickelson playing him, and personally, I like michael keaton as batman (I really wasn't impressed with christian bale at all as batman, probably the weakest part of the trilogy was his role/acting as batman)
After TDK, this film definitely had a lot of hype to live up to, I remember leaving the theater a bit disappointed, because it didn't quite deliver for me. As time has gone on, I've come to have more appreciation for it, but it does rank last of the three for me.
You can say that the TDK is basically a remake of Batman 1989. They have a lot of similarities between them. A top of a building fight between Batman and Joker, a showdown in the middle of the street between Batman and Joker, Joker having a meeting with all the mob heads and killing one with a "trick", and so much more. TDKR has more originality and in my opinion better.
@@asdfasdf7199 Yeah, for me TDK is still the definitive live action Batman movie. Personally though I thought "...Begins" had fewer issues than "...Rises" - it's just tighter IMO - even though I thought TDKR ultimately fulfilled its role of rounding out the trilogy pretty well (the end especially works and makes it a genuine trilogy).
@@moonakieater2308 it’s not really at all. Joker’s not on a big parade in the fight in the streets and it’s a chase scene rather than a saving people from gas scene. Also, all joker does in Batman 89 is kidnap Batman’s girlfriend and get pushed off the side of the clock tower and die. In TDK, joker actually presents a real philosophical argument and obviously doesn’t die. In fact, he also most wins by turning Dent bad. The only real similarities is that Batman is the protagonist and Joker is the antagonist.
@@brubaker4867 I understand what you're saying, because they changed a few things it's not the same. But the themes are and it's much more similar than you think. Joker did take Batman's girl on top of a building in both movies. Joker and Batman had a showdown in the middle of a street and Batman didn't kill him in both movies. Joker and Batman had a confrontation on top of a building in both movies. And so much more Check this out then get back to me🤣🤣🤣
I'll admit that when I saw this opening night: I went to a showing of the entire trilogy and I was spent by the end of Dark Knight Rises. They actually got me to believe that they killed Batman. The Joker was originally intended to be a villain in this one, but Heath Ledger's untimely death ended any chance of that.
He's alive because he was able to build the auto pilot on the Bat in late. As explained to Lucius Fox near the very end.

Christian Bale's Batman is one of the best live action portrayals of the character. Kevin Conroy is definitely the best voice actor. I worked in Pittsburgh as this was being filmed and kept trying to catch a glimpse.
If you're interested in seeing Christian Bale in a completely different role, definitely watch American Psycho! He plays a serial killer and totally nailed the performance
I entered a code from a bottle of Mountain Dew and got a pass to see "The Dark Knight Rises" at a sneak preview the night before it opened. I got out of the movie that night and a few hours later the first reports came in about the shooting at the sneak preview in Loveland, Colorado.
I don’t know if any of you have ever played Left 4 Dead, but that little code Alfred plays on the piano always reminds me of that game and that creepy sound that occasionally plays. I think it plays just before something happens, but I can’t remember for sure as it’s been years since I played. It just sounds really similar, I think. Unless I’m mistaken and that sound is from something else.

*Fun Note: When Bruce and Selina are dancing, Bruce is the only one not wearing a mask, because Batman is his true identity and Bruce the cover up... soo in a way, he is wearing "a mask" saludos desde Chile!
There's a very famous Batman story called The Dark Knight Returns which inspired many of the beats from this film...it ended with Batman faking his death and going underground, so I kind of expected Batman to survive at the end, but I was never sure until the bit about the autopilot came up.
The Dark Knight is regarded by most people as not just the greatest comic book film of all time. But one of the greatest movies ever. Period. It is the Citizen Kane of superhero movies and nothing will likely ever top it. (Though the new Rob Pattinson Batman looks very promising).
What not so happy is that people did the math on the type of explosion and how far away he got and found out the city was still done for. Nuclear fallout and other things would contaminate everything.
The Joker was twister but was a villain that was a "character" and had an almost philosophical approach with the meaning to his madness.... Bane was just flat out evil and a wannabe dictator.
I've read BATMAN comics so I knew about TALIA AL GHUL but I was so used to movie adaptations changing details Nolan managed to fool me TWICE, with father and daughter!
Batman's final escape is a bit of what you might call "false jeopardy" (there's a term for the trope that I can't think of at the moment. It was a technique heavily used in old children's film serials like "Flash Gordon" or "The Lone Ranger" (and "Batman" himself, as such serials were his first cinematic appearance), where they'd leave you on a cliffhanger with the hero in a seemingly impossible-to-escape death-trap, and then reveal at the beginning of the next installment that an escape route was possible via a bit of "extra" footage they didn't show you before. For example, perhaps the hero was trapped in a burning coffin that was shown fully-engulfed in flame in the cliffhanger, and then the beginning of the next chapter showed them escaping before the coffin was set alight. It's kinda a dick move that reduces the audience's trust that the storyteller is giving them the full facts). However, it is somewhat justified by the specification of the nuclear device as a neutron bomb. Neutron bombs were designed as low-damage/high-radiation weapons, with the idea being that you'd drop one on an enemy storage depot/city/whatever, do minimal explosive damage to equipment and infrastructure while killing everything living through radiation, and then walk in and take their stuff after decontamination. So the actual explosion of the Gotham bomb wouldn't necessarily be as unsurvivable as one might assume. The radiation would be a problem, but Batman presumably bailed-out into the water, and water is an exceptionally-good mediator of radiation, specifically the gamma and neutron varieties produced in large quantities by a neutron bomb. Not hard to imagine Batman having a rebreather or some variety of small SCUBA device somewhere on his, uh, utility belt, so he'd just have to swim as far down as possible to avoid the explosion and the radiation. A risky move, to be sure, but not outside the realm of possibility.

By far, the best Batman trilogy that I've ever seen....well see if Matt Reeves does his trilogy, but for now,Christopher Nolan's gritty, realistic and wonderfully shot and acted movies about the Caped Crusader are some of the best superhero movies of all time...
matt reeves The Batman was woke trash
At some point... You need to watch "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm", as well as the rest of the original Warner Brothers "Batman the Animated Series" Cartoons! The Batman. As I grew up with him in the 90s. Mask of the Phantasm has the best version of the theme song of all time. (Even though it's a one off!) when you went to the theatre as a kid it was the coolest thing ever.
Plus it's got some of the best voice acting performances ever! And the setting, with the vintage/gothic art deco styling. It's classic Batman at it's best.
It was Batman Begins before Batman Begins.
Though, as great as it was I can't help but prefer Return of the Joker as my favorite animated Batman film.
You should watch the amazing animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm from 1992. One of the most definitive versions of Batman. Dark and sombre.
Bruce Wayne trying to convey to Gordon that he was his hero growing up, and Addie jumped in with the stupid interjection of talking about the auto pilot in such an emotional moment.
Great reactions to all three movies. This trilogy is still my fave superhero movies, I doubt it will change anytime soon.
Always good to see you reacting to movies
There's a scene right before the ending where fox finds out that Bruce fixed the autopilot system! That's how he survived!
10:09. Did this man just trust a tension pole with his life? I can’t even get a tension pole to hold up a curtain. 😂
List if you want to get more into Batman
Batman 1989
Batman Returns
Batman The Animated Series (And Stand Alone animated movies)
Batman Arkham Trilogy of games.
Omg that would be great. Yeah I do agree that Burtons Gotham was more unique and memorable but Batman begins had a great rendition of a more modern Gotham City but still had those gothic dystopian elements.
The Long Halloween Animated movie had a really fun Gotham City it dived deep into the 1930s feel with Tommy guns and retro vehicles.
@@SouthernBelleX I adored the artistic of the Long Halloween loved the Gotham Skyline.
Batman the Animated Series (cartoon tv show/series) // it has the whole plot that you get in little pieces in this trilogy, though it goes more fantasy than realistic (the trilogy kept it realistic instead) with the Lazarus Pits (green lava volcanoes), enabling Raz al' Ghoul to be "truly" immortal, though it also makes you more violent and wild and strong (like the gas that created the green goblin in spiderman), this is just epic (so dark, like much in the 90s, love it), best batman cartoon tv series, and best joker (mark hamil, of luke skywalker star wars fame, VA's him), really good design of the joker, one of the 3 best jokers
Batman Beyond (cartoon tv show/series) // it's decent-good, but it didn't last very long, it had potential, sighs, anyways, batman (bruce wayne) is now old, so a younger new person takes his place, though in one episode, bruce wayne is dying, but he goes and uses the Lazarus Pit, like Raz al' Ghoul, "rejuvanting" bruce wayne, keeping him alive, and making him young again, but violent and wild and strong...
---------
Mask of the Phantasm (animated/cartoon movie) is okay, there's nothing bad about it, but nothing super great about it either, for a 90s animated/cartoon movie, it's good
----------
Batman (1989) movie is a really good movie, rivals the trilogy in its own way, even though it's just a single movie, the joker is excellent, due to jack nickelson playing him, and personally, I like michael keaton as batman (I really wasn't impressed with christian bale at all as batman, probably the weakest part of the trilogy was his role/acting as batman)
After TDK, this film definitely had a lot of hype to live up to, I remember leaving the theater a bit disappointed, because it didn't quite deliver for me. As time has gone on, I've come to have more appreciation for it, but it does rank last of the three for me.
stronger than begins imo. obviously nothing approaches tdk.
A lot of people forget that Jim Gordon was part of swat for almost 10 years, he's very good with a gun and strategy/ tactics.
Alfred crying is the scene that hit everyone hard.
And yes that Robin is the Robin
He's alive because he was able to build the auto pilot on the Bat in late. As explained to Lucius Fox near the very end.
"Oh my gosh, Alfred is the one who got me!"
Alfred was also the one who brought you back!
Addie after she sees Bruce is alive:
"He's not dead... HE'S NOT DEAD!"
“Bruce can’t come to the door right now.
Why?
Cause he’s dead” 🤣🤣
Christian Bale's Batman is one of the best live action portrayals of the character. Kevin Conroy is definitely the best voice actor. I worked in Pittsburgh as this was being filmed and kept trying to catch a glimpse.
When Addie crys.. I cry damn it!
"In the city of Gotham, you can't really trust anyone." Addie, you're psychic!
Harvey Dent as Shrek's Prince Charming is the most spot on doppeganger ever holy crap
Christian Bale: Best Batman ever
Heath Ledger: Best joker ever
And we were lucky enough to have them together
If you're interested in seeing Christian Bale in a completely different role, definitely watch American Psycho! He plays a serial killer and totally nailed the performance
I entered a code from a bottle of Mountain Dew and got a pass to see "The Dark Knight Rises" at a sneak preview the night before it opened. I got out of the movie that night and a few hours later the first reports came in about the shooting at the sneak preview in Loveland, Colorado.
I love the look on your face and your reaction to when the cops chase Batman into the alley and Batman leaves in his new flying toy. lol
Awesome reaction of my favorite superhero movie hands down👏👏👏👏
Tom Hardy's bane was oustanding and amazing. You should react to Venom (2018). It's one of Tom Hardy's finest film.
If you think Venom is one of his "finest films" then you really havent seen a lot of Tom Hardy movies
@@icemav5740- I saw a boxing one with his brother. That movie was sick! But I really liked Venom!
The conclusion that we deserved.... A great finish to a great trilogy.
Glad to see you again addie🤗🥰missed seeing your reactions your a joy to watch 😂 keep up the good work keep those great reactions coming👏👏👏
The “wow” joke is fucking genius. 👏🏽
I lost it when the clerk said “Robin” 😢
batman is dead, Bruce Wayne isn't
his future is uncertain
*this my fav movie of the trilogy even tho THE DARK KNIGHT IS FOREVER A MASTERPIECE, call it personal preference if you will lol*
Fitting conclusion for a superb trilogy. Nice job Ads.
Good guy Bane waits until the singing is finished before starting his plan.
loved your reaction watched them back to back and it was so much nostalgia to see someone else experience these amazing films. hope you react to the snyderverse films - Man of Steel - Batman V. Superman - Wonder Woman - Snyder Cut Justice League. Cheers!
Great trilogy. Glad you liked the films. Can't wait to see which movie you'll be watching next. Love your channel and the energy you show. The Dark Knight trilogy is one of my favourites after Star Wars so it was nice to see you watch them and hear your thoughts and opinions about each film 😁👍
What makes your reactions next level, are your utter surprise and gasps. keep it up.
the Dark Knight is the best of the three movies. Well to me at least.
So you get my vote there.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful Review. Love your reactions Make a Bat fan Proud.😄
I was impressed by Cat Womans "fake screaming" at the "fingerprint exchange" scene, then I remembered that Anne Hathaway is a very good actress...
"Why can't there just be an autopilot that works??"
About that...
I appreciated this movie more after re-reading A Tale of Two Cities, which inspired the screenplay
I wonder what you'd think of Batman Returns with Michelle Pfeiffer.
Hey Addie just discovered your reaction channel! You're so sweet, hope to see more of your content soon as I'm almost finished with your previous ones. ❤️
Do you have a patreon? If not you should seriously consider it. I would love to see like uncut versions of these movies
*Fun Note: When Bruce and Selina are dancing, Bruce is the only one not wearing a mask, because Batman is his true identity and Bruce the cover up... soo in a way, he is wearing "a mask"
saludos desde Chile!
Bane is such an amazing villain.
Otto, the autopilot from _Airplane!_ (1980), saves the day again!
Yes, and all Batman had to get it, was to blow on it.
Ngl this is probably the best ending of a trilogy ever
The weapon u r asking is EMP( Electro Magnetic Pulse emitter) which screw up any electric power supply by press of a button.
I love the unplanned irony of your dog barking the first time Selena Kyle is introduced
man, i waited for you to watch this movie, and it was worth it. :D i swear, Tom Hardy just nails it playing monsters wearing black. :D
Tom hardy what an actor🔥
Hey Addie hope you have an great and awesome day. Much ❤ as always
What not so happy is that people did the math on the type of explosion and how far away he got and found out the city was still done for. Nuclear fallout and other things would contaminate everything.
Great reaction. You have done of the best reactions I've ever seen. Can't wait to see what else your hoping to react to.
Is the penguin gonna be in this movie ? I’m commenting while watching, oh great it’s the bat dude that you need subtitles for lol
Oh she’s cat girl ?
Who is this strange man in the mask ?
This is a confusing movie ?
Yes that’s scarecrow
He’s not dead it’s a fake death
Yeahhh! Finally! 🥳😍💕
tell me where the full reviews are! WHERE ARE THEY!!
High quality reactions. Not sure how I just found this channel.
A risky move, to be sure, but not outside the realm of possibility.
here is a list of movies you will enjoy
1. Arrival
2. The Illusionist
3. Interstellar
4. Meet Joe Black
5. The Day the Earth Stood Still
6. Hacksaw Ridge
33:11 LOL Perfect
I want a "Robin/Nightwing" movie with Joseph Gordon Levitt! Since at the end of this movie he basically got passed the torch to be the next hero Gotham needs.
