I have the same light on my 1854. One thing I’ve been meaning to do is put blocks underneath the brackets so you can angle the light towards the water more. Early in the morning more than likely won’t be on plane and the light will be pointing more up and add a little fog and you can’t see shit. Just my personal experience hope this helps good luck bro!
You will like that Light Bar on the front of your Boat I have one on mine . One small light on each side to help with deploring the Decoys . Enjoyed it can`t wait myself .
Spud poles instead of anchors is key. We usually get the boat resting on the bottom but in mucky situations with the blind catching wind, you can get loose.
I agree with Levi have light of the sides are a lot nicer especially if you are solo because then when your driving through the marsh you don’t need the spot light.
Would it be possible to put a 32 inch bar light on both sides of my boat. Im talking about close to the water line. I own a 1986 16ft Grumman mod v. I want to be able to do some bow fishing, frog hunting and night fishing yet be able to easily put my boat blind on and off season after season. Any suggestions? Thanks. Dane
Can’t wait for my boat. Should be within the next month. Uncle j custom. A lot bigger boat for comparably same price as the 16’ tracker i was gunna buy from bass pro.
@@OutdoorLimits Now that you have a wire up there, you could mount permeant ones, They could go on with the light bar. They won't be seen because of the bright LEDs but you'll be legal. One less thing to think about.
Put some interior lights. All I do is boat hunt for ducks and having interior lights in the boat is so much easier because you can just flip a switch and have the interior light up. Plus you can run it off of one switch with minimal wires.
I would make that fishing rod holder but make it adaptable for shotguns, super nice to get them on the side in their cases rather than loose in the boat.
Dude....maybe I'm crazy. But I find the glare and brightness more of a problem than the darkness. Takes your God given night vision away. Plus if it's foggy....just a reflective white out. I prefer a red filter over a spot light. Maybe its just me?
I’d like to see the light at night. Hi much of a shadow will it throw being so far back. In Texas it is illegal to run with a light bar. Could blind at her boater. It’s actually better to run with out the light. Till you get close to where your hunting or if your going through timber
Is that illegal to have mounted? Should have a red/green light on bow. I know in Michigan that you can have both. But you can not run the light bar when going across open water. Learn that the hard way.

Swivel cube lights on the back corners. Can turn them on to help u back down the ramp in the dark then swivel them around when sitting up your decoys.
Josh buy the nilight harness it comes with a switch and a in line fuse . So you should be good to run it .

I think you should put 2 more lights in the front at a angle, for setting decoys

Thats what I said!
I want to keep it simple but functional
I put some small lights on the inside of my boat every 3-5 foot not much but provides enough light.

Really good headlamp is way better than a handheld spotlight.
Didn’t show the install .. I was looking for how you wired it
Put some pod lights on the side of the light bar angle them to the side a little so you get a full front view
Duckin' Mudder
Spoonies Up!
Sneak n' Squeak
Bildge pump, inside light strips and navigation lights
Install some stabilizers on it so u can drive a pole thru the ground to keep u in place while hunting in 3-4ft of water.

Call it the Duck Truck and you con use some Goop around the the hole where your wire goes through .

Should have scooted it up more to the front and not on your deck and you will get less glare coming off the bow
floor lights under green/red/blue color.
