I have rebuild transmissions before but this was my first 48RE very helpful series. Thank you for making this series (I know how much time it takes I'm a TH-camr as well) and you have a new subscriber ... keep up the good work
this is the best video i have seen nobody has suggested to put some right stuff on those 8 pin o rings i have had such a hard time getting them to stay sealed up
For me it’s because I believe Goerend has the best valve body on the market and I am not trying to compete with that. I just want to use and sell the best!
@ oh gotcha you’re looking for a VB kit. The reason you won’t find a kit outside of the basic transgo stuff is because there is so much that goes into a properly set up VB most diy ppl doing have the tooling necessary to build them properly. Having a VB dyno is very important to verify everything functions as it should. Most of the “magic” of the transmission is in the valve body & torque converter and having those properly spec’d too all of the rest of the components in the transmission build.

Man this is awesome and will be so helpful to people including me!!! Thanks 🙏🏻
Access to a VB dyno would be awesome. Just curious as to why most shops don't want to mod valve bodies in house?

What if the tb or however you say it valve doesn’t have a spring like action to it
@@Iamable2021 is this a kit you purchased from me?
Why doesn't anyone do a vb build for different hp ratings? The only option is to buy one.
@@JW10.4 we build each VB specific to the customers application/power.
@LoganbuiltRaceShop i get that but surely there is some do's and don'ts or at least 1000hp or 1500hp builds.
@@JW10.4 we do several things different above 1000 & 1500hp with the valve bodies that we don’t do on lower power stuff yes
@LoganbuiltRaceShop im at 1000 and am very interested in mods for the vb. Or kits
