I'm trying to decide if I want to switch to Android and the Note 7, this video is way more useful to me than all those main stream reviews which mostly just regurgitate the phone's press release. Now I actually feel informed and know what I will be buying into. This helps me out a lot. Thanks!!

Agreed. I've been an iPhone user for years but this is the first Android device that's tempted me to switch. I've just ordered myself a shiny new Note 7 :)
I switched to Note & from having iPhones...totally worth it..
Samsung is the only android I want to get, its SW is better than other androids and hardware the best out there.......and gear vr and gear 360 all those extras make it worth switching

great video...I have owned over 6 Samsung phones since the late 90's and I still learned a lot....mainly because of all the new features on this AMAZING phone!
One of if not the BEST descriptions of Tips for the Galaxy Note 7. However I would add some text to the screen saying that if you own the Verizon or At&t versions of the Note 7 some features have been removed. For example on my Verizon, I can not free up the RAM space as you demonstrated and I can't put my name as owner on my Screen. Probably there are some third part apps out there that will do it, but it's not on the Verzion version. Your Explanations and Demonstrations are absolutely the BEST.
I normally don't need people to tell me how to do things on my phone, but you enlightened me about features I was not aware of. For instance, I discovered on my own that I can use the Pen to get previews of my emails, but did not know it also works to preview web links. More importantly, I didn't realize I could turn off the Air view icon and still have easy access to it when I want it. Was glad to learn this.

+stealthieOne I'm using the stock email app, so I only know that it works with this one. In your list of emails, you just hover the pen above the email title and it will give you the first several lines from the email.
Very good videos you make Saki. And I like, that you are pointing AND tell what you will do - BEFORE you do it - it gives a really good understanding. Also good, that the phone is in a mobile stand = stable picture, instead of troubled handheld video, showing lamps on the ceiling. 5 STARS from me.

As I just got the phone, your video was invaluable in helping me get quickly familiar with many of the features. Thank you for taking the time to put it all together. I am a little puzzled as to why some of my menu items are different than yours. I did discover that there was one item Verizon disabled (the Auto Restart), but I also don't have the screen shown at 30:41 in the video with the option to "clean now." STORAGE is its own menu selection in the main Settings and it just gives summaries for content categories, and and "Explore" option at the bottom. I don't have the DEVICE MAINtENANCE menu option at all. Hmm?? Again, thanks for the work you did on this.

Hi. I could not find cloud and accounts in the settings of my Note 7 to enable backup and reset function? My settings seem different from yours?
mr.Sakitech. i haven't seen black or dark blue theme background switch on the setting. do u think , if note7 can change to black or blue background and any other screen pages able to switch to black background?
2nd question : is that any clock time show "second "will display, and it wil to able switch to big size to 1/2 inch small 1/8 inch?
is there a way to disable s-pen menu on seconday button press? with android 6.0.1 update on note 4, default UI hijacks custom in-app settings and there is no way to turn it off.. i used it as a pen/eraser switch on drawing and animation apps, and it's no longer working after the update. thanks for looking into it :)

I notice there is no longer a menu choice to 'add a shortcut to the home screen' ; such as when you are looking at your videos folder and you select 'menu'....the option is missing (my previous phone was the Note 4 and I used the 'add short cut to the home screen' frequently to create folders of shortcuts).........Do you know of a new way to make short cuts to the home screen with the Note 7? Thanks in advance.
#Sakitech; If you copy the secure folder and its secured contents into your thump drive as a back up in case you lost your phone; would you be able to access its contents in a different computer such as laptop or desktop?

for the Device Maintence, there's a widget for it, so you dont have to go settings every time you want to clean off ram, or memory, it does it automatically when you press on the widget that's on your regular screen

I really enjoyed this video but it didnt cover the one feature that i believe Samsung (or maybe Sprint) left off the note 7. That feature is "wifi calling" . I have looked in all the settings for how to enable this with no luck. When i try to google this issue i dont come up with many results. Have you heard anything about Samsung leaving it out or do you have any suggestions for me? thanks. -Nick-

Excellent presentation! You're a great presenter!! I have a question I know you plug in devices via the usb connection cables like a flash drives, is possible to connect a portable hard drive to it? Also will the Note 7 read data from those devices or do I have first load the data into internal memory? Thank you!
hi, mate you can connect any hard disk with it, it wont be a problem.
external hard drives, are to be used for copying in phone, or phone files to be transfered in External Hard drives.

how can I change the languages on my translate air commands.
For some time now (like, a couple of years, or maybe even more), there have been USB type B micro male to USB type A female adapters. Using such adapter, I am able to connect a USB flash drives (excluding external HDDs) on my Note 4, and of course, use it as a storage device, as well as plug in USB type A male to USB type B micro male cable (the cable that you usually use to charge your phone) and charge another phone from mine and gain access to files. If you reverse the connectors in the latter setup, I can get my Note 4 charged as well.
Note 4 was released in October, 2014. Hence, it is not a new feature to the Galaxy line, nor is a Samsung specific feature.
Hi, I have a question about Scapbook from previous versions of the Note phones. Is this feature still available and will it transfer to the Note 7? I heard it became part of SNotes, but I'm not sure how since no one is demonstrating how. I have so many things saved there.
+Karim Sumar yes, I know the app you're referring to (smart switch). However, where does it go on the Note 7? is there a version of Scapbook to absorb the transfer or do I need to download the from the Galaxy app store to use this feature still? Thanks for sharing any information you discover about this.

I go to settings and I have accounts, but when I go to cloud - there is no auto restart option. In settings I have the backup and reset but no auto restart. Can you let me know what I am missing? Thank you so much!
You are on Verizon. They killed this option.

It would have been nice to show how to do a split screen with this phone for those of us that never had one and a working demonstration of how the phone alerts you when the S pen is left behind, otherwise a pretty good video.

my note7 won't connect thru bluetooth to my 2012 veloster. note7 wont connect to my 3n1 laptop either. my note4 was fine with both. any help would be great. thank you
Ordered the Blue Coral variant yesterday, expecting it sometime this week. Totally excited!! Gonna come back to this video once it gets here. :) One question though: is the display really as good as everyone is hyping it up to be?
Yes! Got mine Fri night and it's great! The 7 is 2mm narrower, so it's also a little more comfortable in the hand.

I got 2 note 7 I got a black one on the day it came out and I ordered a blue coral that's coming tomorrow :)
