Fantastic video. Keep up the great work. I am obviously not using the spen like I should. I have had NOTE phones since Note 2, and learned watching your video that I am not utilizing it like I could be. I think if more people new everything the spen could do more people would either stay with the Note series our move to it.
You can use the S Pen with picsart if that's what you mean. But it doesn't look like there are any special, s pen specific features. I hope that helps :)

if you ask me.. this is the best phone off al phones out there. Last year 1 came frome iphone 6 to samsung s6. the first iphone was the 3g, latest the 6. The step to samsung to me was BIG, but i never go back to iphone anymore. Just look at this note 7, to me Its the best.

As a videojournalist i'm not only looking @ the n7 4 using the s-pen 4 taking notes but also to 2 precision, quick, relatively basic video, sound and photo editing for social media clips and short online features on the phone mostly with 3rd party apps. Have you tried this? How effective is the pen in this scenario?

I haven't used many Bluetooth earphones myself, but I know a lot of people like the Jaybird X2s for both working out and general listening. If you're thinking about over ear headphones, I'm honestly not sure which ones would be the best. Looks like I'll have to start getting some headsets to try :)

I've been using an older SNote APK but it doesn't allow me to add features from the "more features" option, saying "this app is not available on your device" - any suggestions? Samsung Notes is lacking sketching options like drawing straight lines and shapes, which I badly need for my work. 2. Translate via SPen doesn't have support for some of the languages. +vladshamael Unfortunately, I think you'll need to update to the newer S Note APK from the Samsung App store before you can install the extensions. That will, however, remove action memo :/ And I'm unaware of any extension packs at the moment. You could try going into the keyboard settings and installing extra languages, but that might just add then for the keyboard and nothing else. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but I'm glad you enjoy the reviews :)
This is a great review! are these features available in the S7 edge (photo to text, translate, on screen notes ...)? I'm not sure if I should get the Note 7 with the S pen or wait for the S8 with bigger battery?
you can get them on the s7 but it's not as simple as the note, the note allows you to implement the features directly to the s pen and then just hover over words and such to translate.. even in photos! I love it for my German class when I forget a word or two, The s7 edge doesn't have notes by default like the note 7 either but you can download a notes app if need be and put it on the edge menu the battery in both devices are extremely good, if you have some issues with live download a app called "package disabler pro" and cancel the bloatware (this does cancel photo editing, although you can turn it back on at any time) I use my note 7 constantly and it lasts about 4 hours of multiple windows at max brightness etc you can also turn down screen resolution and turn and battery saving mode for even more battery :)

I mean I currently have the NOTE 7 And I love it . what I like about Android Is the following : Camera, Storage, Multitask S pen, Iris, I guess everything except translation piece You have to do word per word. The app was very helpful I still think they should have the translation updated to translate complete sentences Also, Google take a long time to do what I ask to do. Not sure if I should now try IPhone 7 plus. What do you think??
I returned my Note 7 because of the recall and tried out the iPhone 6s+ as my temporary device. Although the 6s+ is not the same as the iPhone7/7+, the Note 7 offered more to fit my needs and wants moreso than the iPhone: s pen, multitasking, wireless charging, notification LED, and customization to name a few. The iPhone offers cool new features, and I will admit that iOS is beautiful and so are the iPhones themselves. If you're used to how android works and the customization android offers along with all the other things you listed, I'd say stick with the Note 7. Just tried translating with Siri, and it didn't even translate "ciao, bella" (I've lived in Italy) for me. However, since Samsung is still doing the exchange program, I suggest trying the iPhone 7 as your temporary device to see if it fits your needs and if you like it better.
The iPhone 7 Plus will no doubt be a great phone, but for a different audience than the Note 7. I recommend iPhones to people who just want to use social media apps, make calls, send texts, play some simple games and browse the web. iPhones are faster when it comes to those sorts of things (opening and switching apps) so it's easy to recommend. However, if you want all the bells and whistles like action memo, screen off memo, iris scanning to unlock your phone and log into websites, better water resistance, better battery life, much faster charging, wireless charging, a brighter screen to use in direct sunlight, and much deeper colors for media consumption, then I'd stick with the Note 7. That may be a lot of Note 7 features that I just listed, but some people just don't care for them. If you fall into that category, you'll probably love the iPhone 7 :)
Hey, guys, for the ones who already have the Note 7 (or even the Note 5), let me ask you something: is the smartphone (Note 7 or Note 5) and the S-Note app practical/viable for studies? When Samsung developed the Note series smartphones and the S-Note app, was it directed to memos and quick notes for day-to-day tasks, or is it viable and practical to take longer and more complex notes? Like, can I create several notebooks and organize annotations and studies, so I won't be lost among hundreds of pages and such? In my studies, I take a LOT of annotations, studies, schemes, photos, charts and such... I wonder if I could concentrate everything in this Note 7. After watching quite a few videos about this smartphone, including this video and the other one Techisode did about S-Note, I'm confident that it is doable. It seems awesome and I'm looking forward to use it with this purpose, but I'd like a word from Note 7 or 5 owners to be sure that this is the case... Thanks everyone!
well, the note 4 has / had a voice recorder feature, that transcribes speech to text.. and i imagine that feature would be fantastic for recording lectures / automatic recording of notes. but i do not know if that feature remains on the note 7, and it doesn't really matter since the note 7 is not only recalled, but discontinued.. which is a shame. but i recently purchased a note 4 to upgrade from my only note 2.. so to me the note 4 is still an amazing option, and also much better priced now at around $400.

Yes and no, you can add more contacts on a separate edge, but they won't have the oncircle features. My S7 Edge, edge screen review covers all of the options for that. the rubbery tip gives stablization and the plastic for speed. rubber one better for drawing and the plastic for creating quick notes cause u write fast...

However, if you want all the bells and whistles like action memo, screen off memo, iris scanning to unlock your phone and log into websites, better water resistance, better battery life, much faster charging, wireless charging, a brighter screen to use in direct sunlight, and much deeper colors for media consumption, then I'd stick with the Note 7. That may be a lot of Note 7 features that I just listed, but some people just don't care for them. If you fall into that category, you'll probably love the iPhone 7 :)

Hey, guys, for the ones who already have the Note 7 (or even the Note 5), let me ask you something: is the smartphone (Note 7 or Note 5) and the S-Note app practical/viable for studies? When Samsung developed the Note series smartphones and the S-Note app, was it directed to memos and quick notes for day-to-day tasks, or is it viable and practical to take longer and more complex notes? Like, can I create several notebooks and organize annotations and studies, so I won't be lost among hundreds of pages and such? In my studies, I take a LOT of annotations, studies, schemes, photos, charts and such... I wonder if I could concentrate everything in this Note 7. After watching quite a few videos about this smartphone, including this video and the other one Techisode did about S-Note, I'm confident that it is doable. It seems awesome and I'm looking forward to use it with this purpose, but I'd like a word from Note 7 or 5 owners to be sure that this is the case...

well, the note 4 has / had a voice recorder feature, that transcribes speech to text.. and i imagine that feature would be fantastic for recording lectures / automatic recording of notes. but i do not know if that feature remains on the note 7, and it doesn't really matter since the note 7 is not only recalled, but discontinued.. which is a shame. but i recently purchased a note 4 to upgrade from my only note 2.. so to me the note 4 is still an amazing option, and also much better priced now at around $400.
Thanks for your reply! Indeed, this speech to text feature is extremely useful! I think Note 5 kept it. The biggest problem with Note 5, though, is the lack of slot for SD card...
Just for the record for anyone who returned their phone, I'm still using my Note 7. Not the FE either...THE Note 7!

Yes and no, you can add more contacts on a separate edge, but they won't have the oncircle features. My S7 Edge, edge screen review covers all of the options for that. Which tip is better, the rubbery one or the plasticy one?
the rubbery tip gives stablization and the plastic for speed. rubber one better for drawing and the plastic for creating quick notes cause u write fast...
