Base nuts at 5:36 were 68 inch pounds. On My ATN X-Sight 4K Pro 5x20 those same base nuts. ATN told me 30 inch pounds. Sounds low. What should I set them at in Your advice? Took me forever to find a video like yours. Great video information !! Thanks
So, why do you not just go out and proof that the correct torque is necessary for accuracy, if it is so clear? I love how it is always those that sell torque wrenches that tell you how necessary they are. Either those or those who just left a store where torque wrenches are sold.... Most scopes have an outer tube, in which the parallaxe tube moves. However that inner tube is only connected to the outer tube at the adjustment rings, meaning that deformation of the outer tube will have minimal impact on the position of the inner tube. And even when there is an impact, the deformaton of your outertube will be the same all the time, meaning that once your scope is sighted in it really does not do a thing if it was tightened with 5Nm or with 30Nm.
The caps come standard on the Helix and Titan, but these ones in the video (Tenebraex caps for the Nexus) are aftermarket parts that we will be offering very soon!
You have to make a 1-6 and 1-8 and 1-10 riflescope. For short and medium range shooting, with eye relief, for quality. For IPSC, 3GUN and CQB (close range shots, with a fairly good x1). good) and with Tactical Turrets. That would be great.
Dear @elementoptics, Matt, I was wondering if It would be possible to purchace extra turret "knobs" for the elevation turret. I am using a Titan scope with the simple MRAD reticle and absolutly love It! I would like to be able to set up more different sight tapes for different projectiles or even calibers. I am a former professional archer and use different preset sights with different sight tapes on the same bow (and other preferences for specific competitions) I was thinking the same could be done for my titan scope. The zero system works so well and quick that changing turret "knobs" would be a piece of cake. With a smartly choosen zero stop, that could act as a reference for different turrets, maybe not exactly at zero but that wouldn't matter. This is just an idea, let me know what you think. Keep up the great work you do for the airgun community! I have been following your channel for years and was one of the many people willing to support you when necessary, trough your patreon account. All the best, Thomas, the Netherlands
Hi Thomas! Yes, we have already discussed this idea internally. We are just waiting for our online store to be built as we don’t think this is an item that many dealers will want to stock. Once we have the online store open you will be able to buy these parts👍🏻
@@ElementOptics Thanks for your reply. I agree that it will be for a small group of people so not so interesting for a dealer. I will await the availability through your coming online store. Nice to hear it was already in the planning. Hopefully they can be offered for a reasonable price, then I will certainly buy a few. So far I am really impressed with my Titan scope, Keep up the great work!
@@t.vaneil1350 it's been quite a while now I was just wondering if you were able to pick up those extra turrets and if so did it work out like you thought it would.
Here is a simple reason why. i fixed my scope with the spline provided and when we went hunting my front mount came loose on my 3006. lesson learned. so i think my scope is over tight now must still take it in and let someone torq ot properly. is that something patriot shop can do?. I dont have the funds to by a torq driver and use it once as i just hunt once a year with my rifle. patriot shop is just down the roud from me.
Hi! It should be able to handle it, we have made it pretty shock proof. However if your magnum springer is a MAGNUM springer and happens to damage the scope, your warranty will still stand as it counts as “normal” use👍🏻
Hey Steven, scopes are on the way there as we speak! So I'm guessing they will be sent out to dealers shortly after they arrive. As soon as we hear they are available we will post about it to let people know.
Matt you have connections to FX. If torque is so important, why doesn’t FX include those specifications with their No Limit Scope rings? It’s one question that cannot be found on the internet. Work your airgun magic and find out the proper torque setting for their costumers.
Thank you for the torque spec you save me from making a big mistake thank you,you fine fellow
I´m so pleased with your Optics that I just bought my second Titan scope. Well done !
Glad to hear it, thank you for the support!

Hi Johan, yes I'm sure Patriot can help you. It just depends on what mounts & scope you are using - I would check the torque specs first.
hi. i have warne 30mm picitiny rail rings and a 4-16×44 bushnell extreme throphy scope
Hi Mat. Was thinking of buying your Helix for a magnum springer of mine. Do you reckon it would survive or void my warranty? Thanks T

What do I do when the mount manufacturer calls for 35" pounds on the ring and the scope manufacturer calls for 18"
Scope manufacturer wins every time.
Whats Happening in Australia with Element optics? I keep asking an get no answers. Can I buy a scope from your new shop in South Africa?
