Yeah the restaurant would be nice but France has too much already and I wouldn’t have wanted to lose what’s there. I think it borders on too much screens but considering Disney isn’t overdone on screens yet it still passes.
Thanks for the video - the ride looks to be EXACTLY the same as Disneyland Paris's, including the script word for word! Only difference is in Paris, it ends at the beautiful Chez Remy restaurant which adds to the attraction as the last scene in the ride is also at the restaurant.

I like the incorporation of real set-pieces interspersed with the screen portions. Would you compare it to Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man in that regard?
Thanks Craig! We just got back last week and enjoyed the low crowds. For our family the 50th anniversary crowds are not doable. We will enjoy Remy,s Ratatouille adventure in 2022.
I was disappointed in that aspect - the heavy reliance on a 3d movie. 3d makes me ill and sick and it doesn't work for me. And then it spins. With a neurological disorder, I can't ride much anyway. Oh well.
Other vloggers are reporting that the spinning on the ride made them a little nauseous. From watching the video, it doesn't look too bad other than "under the stove" & it's being reported that different cars go different speeds/spinning so it's all in the one you get I guess
Exactly. Once they start moving and get in their line only certain ones spin but you don’t really know which order they’re going to get in until the ride starts.

Loved the ride. Did it twice. We could not figure out the art studio scene in the queue though. Also the crepes and ciders were very good at the new restaurant.
I don't get the hype for this ride been on it over 10 times while visiting paris I'm always disappointed just not a fan of the screen I dont feel like I'm moving around the kitchen I'm to aware it's just a big screen not immersive enough for me, at least it will attract the crowds for me visit next year hopefully will bring down wait time for other attractions.
I think it shouldn’t be overhyped. It’s a very nice ride. I’d wait about 30 mins for it, but nothing more and it absolutely shouldn’t have a virtual queue to drive up demand. In Paris at Studios it’s an excellent D/E ticket attraction but it really need to be C level at EPCOT.
@@TheDIS It was justifiably overhyped when it first opened in 2014, but that's because back then, these kinds of rides were very new for Disney. Now with so many other good rides, it doesn't hold up as well, but still a cute fun ride :)
So, the English dialogue is *basically* a loose translation of the French, so you're not missing anything. The characters are just saying something in French and then repeating themselves in English. Or, like, a question will be asked in French and then answered in English in a way that restates the question. You don't need subtitles.
Exactly what theorginalsache said. They used this tactic in the show I watched in Paris as well and it is actually really easy to piece it all together but you still feel like you’re absorbing some of the culture.
To be more realistic, I heard everyone needs a French vaccine passport or you can not go on the ride. The souvenir shops will also be selling yellow vests.
That is the saddest, most sterile and depressing cue imaginable. Are we going to prison or a fun ride, yikes , mauldin and chock full of pathos. Attraction a loud movie experience. Sorry. Swing and miss, suggest different outcomes and 'Something' interactive. Terribly passive experience. That said, trackless system is impressive, studio in front a great touch, that's all though. Fountain out front more intriguing than attraction.
The US does not have an official language. They're free to use whatever language they choose to in attractions. Don't like it? Stop paying to go there.

Got to ride this on 9/5 as part of the DVC squeak peak.....very fun and a great family ride.
Do you think I need to worry about motion sickness? I do get sick on Motion simulated rides.
There are a couple moments where those prone will feel sick for sure.
