The creperie near my home serves very similar items for between $13 to $15 so this doesn't seem expensive to me. As long as it tastes good, it seems like a good addition to the France Pavilion.
That looks delicious ! Thanks for all you do Craig ! Also Connecting with Walt podcast is back !!! Great job Craig and the wonderful Michael Bowling, listening now Yay !!!
Thanks for the review Craig! Would be good to know how these compare to Universal's crepes. Universal's crepes look so much more substantial and a better value and those are to go vs a sit down.
It is a long A ..but not as long as in English. I’d say he missed it by a bit but hey ...no biggie. Go to google translate for reference ...the correct pronunciation is in there
Thanks for the review, Craig, but next time can we see more of the food? Not that we don't like seeing you, we'd just like a longer look at the food. Thanks again!
I was being rushed through by Disney because it was timed meals so this was all very rushed and I got two very short clips of my food. I would’ve loved more time!
I enjoyed the atmosphere. I only had the banana crepe. It was $3 extra for a small side bowl of whipped cream. I would not have enjoyed the crepe without it. The non alcoholic beverages were not to my liking. I do enjoy a hard cider. I think next time we may stick with the window service - unless my daughter really wants to go back inside. I felt the prices were high because of having to get the ciders - even for Disney prices.
Will have to try the quick service next month to see if it's better than the banana Nutella crepes at IHop. Sounds like it would be a good place for a light lunch.
I prefer Universal’s compared to the table service, but I want to try the quick service window. I’m used to eating crepes out of food trucks as hand sandwiches hence my preference for Universal.
In all the years and trips to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands and Luxembourg…I’ve not seen crepes served like that. If it tastes good great …I’ll stick to the cart guy in my neighborhood though and spend elsewhere in Epcot.
Looks identical to a buckwheat galette bretonne that I had at a crêperie in Paris. I was specifically looking for that kind because I am celiac, mind you.
Technically the menu heading is “Galettes” but then right under it says buckwheat crepes. I’m assuming it’s partially because they don’t want to confuse people, like me, who would clearly see they are savory but not necessarily know what a galette is versus a crepe.
@@DisneyDining There is dispute even among the French about the use of the word galette. But in the context of a crêperie, a galette is a savory buckwheat crêpe.
Craig do any of the crepes have a heavy buttery taste? I love crepes but some are heavy on the butter and I don't care for that. Just wondering your opinion on that. Thanks
Oh lord. Ok, first it looks like a cafeteria in there. Second, shy of 30bucks for two crepes??? Yall are kidding rite? 🙃 sorry Disney this is a huge NOPE!!! P.S. wheres Pete!? I wanna see Pete get robbed here! 🤣
I know it’s Disney pricing but the prices are a bit steep IMO. I can make a Nutella crepe at home for a LOT less and is the quality really that much better?
You pronounced Crêperie correctly. It's crep not crape. And Gah-let . So bon! You can pronounce Paris however you like! Also Gourmand is pronounced ɡo͝orˈmänd.
When did the Dis change their no review on Comped meal/services policy? Typically when a meal is comped you would limit the comments to what the meal/service entailed, without giving your opinions of the experience, saving that for a normal review that you paid for, as to not give the appearance of bias. This was always one of Pete's strictest rules, what's changed?
Thank you. I like to say it a weird amount of times so that way for people who tune in and out to what I’m saying will definitely hear and register the meal was comped by Disney.
For the record, on the menu it says “galettes” and then directly under it says buckwheat crepe so Disney is partially to blame for not establishing a difference.
Craig is pronouncing it correctly. In French it is pronounced "crep" never crape. Also, in French you wouldn't say the S in the plural form, it's always just "crep" regardless if you are talking about one or multiple. Crape is just what American's say but it's not correct.
The creperie near my home serves very similar items for between $13 to $15 so this doesn't seem expensive to me. As long as it tastes good, it seems like a good addition to the France Pavilion.
Might go to a French-inspired chain restaurant tomorrow and see if they have crepes. Now in the mood.
$15.95 for a Crepe! 🙄
That’s Disney pricing for sure! UGH!
Strong Yorkshire vibes with that flatcap Craig. Good to see.
That looks delicious ! Thanks for all you do Craig ! Also Connecting with Walt podcast is back !!! Great job Craig and the wonderful Michael Bowling, listening now Yay !!!
Awesome Craig! Thanks for the review of La Creperie de Paris!
Thanks for the review Craig! Would be good to know how these compare to Universal's crepes. Universal's crepes look so much more substantial and a better value and those are to go vs a sit down.
Exactly
Cool can’t wait to try it myself.
I believe crepes are best when you use your hands and bite at the bottom tip vs. using a fork and knife.
Everything looked delicious, but the menu selections and decor seem more quick service to me.
I can’t wait to eat here! Thanks for the great review.
Sounds great.
Please try the squid chips at the China Pavilion in Epcot.
I wanna know if it tasted authentic..the last time I had a crepe was over 20ish years. Sounds yummy. Thanks for sharing Craig.
It won’t
Does France already have a crepe kiosk?
Its looks okay for free. It would not be anything I would go out of my way to order.
Thank you, Craig.
Nice vid.
But isn't it prounced like "craype", not "crepp"??
No, Craig got the pronunciation correct.
@@natalietorres1873 no. He mispronounced it.
French pronunciation is “crep”, English is “crape”
Won’t last

Why are all the new and redesigned restaurants so loud? Don’t they know how to do acoustics?
excellent report!
Good review Craig😊
Thanks for the review, Craig, but next time can we see more of the food? Not that we don't like seeing you, we'd just like a longer look at the food. Thanks again!

Very good review and a big plus about being up front on the pricing though the item was comp'd by Disney. Tell it like it is.

I want to try the cheese and onion. Love French onion soup it sounds like it would taste like the soup💗
Will have to try the quick service next month to see if it's better than the banana Nutella crepes at IHop. Sounds like it would be a good place for a light lunch.
I love a savoury crepe, but that seems quite expensive for what it is. Could see most people just going to the quick service just for a sweet crepe
Crepes at universal $8-$9.. including savory.
I love those! I could eat them all day.
I really liked the crepe stand at Universal. The brisket one there is delicious. How would you compare this spot? Menu seems a little more basic.
I prefer Universal’s compared to the table service, but I want to try the quick service window. I’m used to eating crepes out of food trucks as hand sandwiches hence my preference for Universal.
Thanks Craig
Was the ham and cheese one already peppered??
In all the years and trips to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands and Luxembourg…I’ve not seen crepes served like that. If it tastes good great …I’ll stick to the cart guy in my neighborhood though and spend elsewhere in Epcot.
It looks more like a galette with a crêpe crust instead of a pie or pastry.
Looks identical to a buckwheat galette bretonne that I had at a crêperie in Paris. I was specifically looking for that kind because I am celiac, mind you.
Hi Craig!
The crepes did look amazing! 😋
You are killing my diet! Loved watching it though.
Galette! Savory crepes made from buckwheat are galettes not crepes. Interesting that Disney chose to not put that accurately in the menu.
Technically the menu heading is “Galettes” but then right under it says buckwheat crepes. I’m assuming it’s partially because they don’t want to confuse people, like me, who would clearly see they are savory but not necessarily know what a galette is versus a crepe.

The saltiness was probably from the ham.
You are one of the few people that pronounces crepe correctly! 👍
Love the hat
Craig the crep keeper.
Call me a simpleton but those don't look like anything special. I'd rather eat a hazelnut spread tart from Woodys lunchbox!
looks tasty
Hey Craig, are they open for reservations yet?
Craig do any of the crepes have a heavy buttery taste? I love crepes but some are heavy on the butter and I don't care for that. Just wondering your opinion on that. Thanks
I didn’t get butter as a major flavor at all.
Al sounded good, Craig, thanx. Except for the "Disney pricing" of course. :)
Oh lord. Ok, first it looks like a cafeteria in there. Second, shy of 30bucks for two crepes??? Yall are kidding rite? 🙃 sorry Disney this is a huge NOPE!!! P.S. wheres Pete!? I wanna see Pete get robbed here! 🤣

Seems vastly overpriced, even for Disney.
So many missed opportunities.
What a piece of crepe!
Crepe, this is expensive for some crepe.
Crepe crepe crepe
I'm done now.

The amount of times you thanked Disney was weird.
Thank you. I like to say it a weird amount of times so that way for people who tune in and out to what I’m saying will definitely hear and register the meal was comped by Disney.
In the US people just do not know the difference between crêpe (and how to pronounce it) and galette. 🙈😇 sorry it just always annoys me 🤣 stay safe
For the record, on the menu it says “galettes” and then directly under it says buckwheat crepe so Disney is partially to blame for not establishing a difference.
It is pronounced CRAPE (like grape) and NOT crep. Why couldn’t your friend tell you how to pronounce it correctly. LOL
