The filet mignon sliders are amazing! The best bang for your buck! We always upgrade our side to truffle fries. My sister and I always split it and we get oysters for an appetizer!
Boathouse is one of my favorites. So glad you all enjoyed. The dockside bar is my happy place. The tuna poke is my go-to dish but I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ever ordered here. Beyond the food and atmosphere, the team there is incredible. Consistently fantastic hospitality.
I'm pretty sure that as an adult, if you don't appreciate the food, location on the water, antique boats, amphibious cars, bar, themeing, and ambiance of the boat house the you may want to just stay home. it's a really cool place and I am glad that it is still keeping up the standards. been a few years since I have been able to visit. hope to get back someday.
Yes Ryno...we New England people are very judgy over our seafood. Especially clams. I am from Mass like you and living in NC for the past 35 years I MISS whole belly clams. All they do down here is the strips. A good strip is better than nothing what I wouldn't I give for some wicked good whole belly clams!!!!

I tend to avoid ice cream in the heat - just feels lousy. Same way I don't combine milk products with fish (cheese, cream, etc - only butter).
I appreciate your lite fare of the boathouse and I wish you had added lite fare to your description. But it was fun to see the lite fare. As far as a steakhouse at disney its in my tip top 3.

Alway up for Sperry’s and Yacht Rock. Boathouse was our worst meal we’ve had at WDW. We both had filet and lobster tails. Nothing was cooked correctly and they brought the food back separately. We felt like we are Tapas and separately. As a signature restaurant, horrible. Maybe need to try more sandwiches. Great review as always!
A bisque typically doesn't have "chunks." That's the whole point to have the flavor of whatever in a very creamy, decadent broth. The prices may seem high but good grief, it was fresh fish. It's going to be expensive. I love the Boathouse, and yes, the filet sliders are where it's at.
I know there was a review years ago where everyone tried the S'mores Baked Alaska, and they still do that, but you have to call in advance and ask them for it. I still want to come here badly, but I don't know when that will happen.
I went there a few years ago and thought the food was average at best. I would say maybe it was what I ordered but we were a party of 5 and none of us enjoyed it. The servers and atmosphere were very nice, but it wasn't for us. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.
Ate here recently had the clam strips and were awful..cold and overcooked...wife's meal was not good either..so many rave reviews but so very disappointed and will not return with so many other great options

Also… Lobster Bisque shouldn’t have chunks fyi. Oh and recommending people to get the burger medium well? Might as well throw it in the trash. This restaurant is top tier, make an effort to visit.
My one suggestion is that everyone reviews the items which are shareable, instead of just the person who ordered them. More viewpoints is usually a plus.

They make the best old fashioned I've ever had. I'm sure there's better out there, but that thing is perfect.

Craig you didn't let me down getting that burger!! That is my go-to at the Boathouse. It's phenomenal. For me it's the best burger on Disney property.

Now all I can think about are the fried clams I had on Nauset Beach on Cape Cod in 2016. Good clams.
