We followed your Genie Plus Strategy in March of this year, we were done with Remy, Frozen Ever After and Elsa Anna Meet and Greet by 9:30 AM Had the entire day for our 4 year old to complete every Character Meet and Greet in the park!
😍 that opening shot of the Epcot sign just gave me the Disney butterflies 🦋 in my stomach. Thank you for making this video. I can not wait to get back to the parks myself! 😅
Thank you! That was really fun and informative . I found the two different paths aspect very helpful. I unfortunately haven’t done remy because I’m very susceptible to motion sickness. My granddaughter had a two hour wait for remy during her senior class trip and that really made the ride quite a turn off. Luckily she was able to do it as a walk on when we did Epcot extended evening in the summer of 2023 and of course that totally changed her perception of and delight in the ride. Merry Christmas to you and Erick.
I LOVE your videos and appreciate your recommendations so much. Just did our first trip as a family with a toddler and you saved the day. We rocked all the early entries
I think the real reason Soarin’ first won was because of the time Erick lost walking from Frozen to Remy and then all the way back to the front of the park. That’s a lot of time eaten up by walking. It was a squeaker, though.
I love the competition aspect. Are you planning this for every park? Think that is a great video competition that is also practical! Also, great to see more Erick!!
@ Yup! I discovered it about 4 trips ago when my wife and I hit up barn stormer first then 7 dwarfs mine train right before park opening. I love analyzing strategies and methods. :) We really enjoyed the video
Great video as always, looks like until Test Track is back going in via the International Gateway is the best option. Would be good if you occasionally put a map of the park on the screen so we could see where you're walking. I remember being at the front of Early Entry a couple times and thinking "Which way am I actually going?" 😂
I'm glad those are the most popular rides in Epcot, because we're not interested in any of them! Haha! I never thought Ratatouille was a good movie; I never saw or had an inclination to see Frozen; and Soarin' still looks a bit warped on the sides. I'll still head over early for rope drop at the Int'l Gateway, though - Hubby's been raving about the French pastries, and I want to grab us goodies for breakfast most mornings (we'll be staying at Yacht Club). Glad to know our Epcot days will not have to be rushed. :D
We did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago and started with Soarin for early entry and it worked out great. I had a lightening lane for Remi in the morning so the only ride we had to wait in line for was Frozen. Thank you so much for your videos, especially the comparison ones. They really do help out when planning your days at the parks and where to start.
Heigh Ho! It’s been a while since I’ve roped dropped from International Gateway but yes, you can absolutely beat the front gate people. In fact I was there at a slow time and was able to ride Frozen twice before the line really started to grow. As Rob said, it’s faster to go left toward the UK and Canada to get to Norway (Good thing I was always terrible at geography because World Showcase would just make things more confusing lol)
Epcot is tough right now because there are these three attractions that everyone wants to do and they stay busy. I’d say rope drop them in the order that they matter most to you because they will all only get busier as the day goes on. Probably you will spend the least amount of time in line for your first ride by rope dropping Soarin’, but Remy and Frozen will be long. Hopefully Test Track will shake things up when it comes back online.
@@EarScoutswill you be sharing strategy if you start with the International Gateway? Also, any advice when going on a day where RunDisney causes the park to open at 10am?
We rope dropped Frozen twice in the spring and were literally the very first people there waiting for early entry to start, but it didn’t even matter because there were so many people just running past us 🤪 AND we are fast walkers 🤷♀️ I tried not to let it get to me, after all we were in a magical place 🎉

So grateful to have an Ear Scouts video during this very hectic time of year.

I’m shocked that you won! ☺️ Thank you both so much for sharing the 2 strategies!
Next time I will try to do better 😂. Thank you so much for watching
@ I just knew going to Frozen first would give you the win! 😁😁 Good luck next time! 😀

Christmas and an ear scouts video perfect combo 😅 ❤❤❤
Great video. The family and I just watched it. We discussed the winning strategy!
Awesome! Did you pick the winning path? Happy holidays!

This is exactly what we did on our Epcot day!
Which route did you take? Frozen or Soarin’ first?

Thank you so much for watching ☺️!
Thanks, Martha! Happy holidays!
This was a surprise, I would have thought starting with Frozen or Remy would be best.
Thanks for all your strategy videos! Need Help understanding why Test Track no longer has X’s on Thrill Data?????😮 Merry Christmas!
Yeah 1 hr 15 min before Early Entry is the sweet spot to get to the resort bus stations to head to the parks
I always rope drop frozen - never thought to do soarin since it usually has lower waits

Love those Ears ❤❤❤
Would love to see what Frozen is like for early entry from the rear gate. Can you get there before the front entry folks?

I’d agree with Craig that it’s doable, but you better have your fast walking shoes on. 😂
For us it wasn't a great plan. When we got to Frozen everyone was already there. Maybe bad luck. It was Friday and a very busy day
how would i get to the skyline from all music resort for international gateway entry to epcot
@@neilflit3228 your best option is to take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then take the skyliner
Would you have a different strategy for rope drop, vs early entry?

All those people running to get on Frozen. So annoying! If they weren't allowed to run, Erik would have been fine.
I was surprised of how many people decided to run. Thankfully people were asked to walk by the Cast Members near Mexico 😅.
