    The stick sensitivity setup is a very nice recommendation, trying it out now and liking it so far.

    Nice video man. Ever since I bought mine it has gave me an improvement in my aim too. All I can say it works really well with this game. I will definitely give ur settings a try cuz I did not know that the left stick settings made that much of a huge difference.

    I want a stick curve that starts from zero high up. Artificial deadzone removal kind of deal. I hate the way Bungie implemented large dead zones for the right stick in both halo and destiny.

    I love this! I have veen looking for a review that is D2 specific and this is the one! I have a few questions for you though:
    1. Are you able to map two buttons into one of the back peddles? For example, I see a lot of PVP players crouch up and down while shooting and I have no idea how they do it so fast. Any input is highly appreciated
    2. I main Titan - Normally Chaperone + hand cannon or auro rifle. I also sometimes play Beloved + Crimson. Do you have sensitivity recommendation for these two loadouts?
    I used to be quite good in PVP but left the game for a while and now im back, but getting my butt handed to me is an understatment in PVP. Like, I have no idea how some players move so fast and slide around corners so effortlessly.

      Thanks for the comment. 1. You cannot map two buttons to the same back paddle on the controller. However, you can map buttons in game so if you want to play around with that, you can. 2. Sensitivity is really a personal thing that you just have to find out what works best for you. I play on 18 look sense with .6 ads sense and that is too high for most. I would suggest switching up to a higher sense at first. It will feel fast and hard to aim, play for a bit then lower it till you find something that feels comfortable or good to play with 3. Part of coming back to the game is there is so many changes to the game and so many new abilities to learn. It's not just gunplay. You just kinda have to play until you feel comfortable moving around and shooting again

    Thanks for the review. D2 is the game I play the most on PS5 and I'm so sick and tired of forking out £60 for a new controller every time I get stick drift. For a while now, I have been thinking of buying the pro controller. Just one question, can you programme one of the paddles to select the heavy weapon? The default is to long press the Triangle button, but sometimes soloing a dungeon on a boss fight is a bit tedious having to long press to switch to heavy when you're in the thick of it. I really do hope you can programme one of the paddle buttons to heavy weapon within the D2 buttons custom menu with the edge controller. Thanks again.

    • @galactictip
      @galactictip  ปีที่แล้ว

      So, technically you can do a little of both, both back paddles can be binded to any button on the ps5 controller. So you could bind one paddle to triangle, but it would still function the same where you need to hold it to bring out the heavy. The next thing you could do is use destiny's custom controls and see if there is a way to bind heavy to a specific button like circle for instance and then bind circle to one of the back paddles. Should be possible

    Such a great video, especially the response curve part which I don't see a lot of people talking about. Quick question, do you know what the default Destiny response curve is? Been trying to find one online without much success.
    For me, D2 has some of the weirdest controller aiming I've used and I'm trying to tweak my edge response curves to something more like call of duty dynamic response curves.

    • @galactictip
      @galactictip  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Destiny has always had a more gradual curve for controller, but they recently added deadzone customizability and you can really fine tune how the aim feels now to get something close to thag

    Hi, very nice review! I've heard this controller has less aim assist on destiny 2 specifically, less than a regular one. Is that true? I've just got it, and i felt my gameplay sucked really bad compared to usual, i was thinking it's because i needed to adjust to the paddles! I just wanted to confirm if the whole having less aim assist on this controller is true or not. If it is, can i make it normal?

    • @galactictip
      @galactictip  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It having less aim assist is very much not true. Aim assist is not based of a controller your using. If you using a stick curve setting that makes your aim move faster it will feel like less aim assist, but as long as your playing at 120hz. There is no difference whatsoever. Part of it is just getting your hands used to the paddles. It confuses the rest of your brain for a bit and you make very simple mistakes cause your hands sorta "malfunction". Just keep using it and get used to it and it will feel a lot better

    Does the sticks on the back give you the ability to have some sort of pc movement ? Like jumping and sliding as soon as you hit the ground?

    • @galactictip
      @galactictip  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorta, you can input more smoothly than a regular controller unless you are goated at playing claw, but you cant fully replicate pc movement simply cause you cant turn fast enough on controller but you can make it close to it

    • @galactictip
      @galactictip  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You dont map it in game, you open the menu through edge controller and map it that way. It's the controller itself that maps the buttons. Not the game

    Its not the boost that helps its because destiny has dead zones that feel like shit and there's no settings so with quick it feels more precise simulating less dead zone there should be settings for dead zones for every fps game

      The edge pro controller literally comes with a lock that you can put on the charging cable to lock it to the controller so it doesnt fall out. I must've forgot to mention it in this video
