I always liked how Hunters had the greater mobility, which I would use in games like Rift. I don't like how Bungie made all classes basically the same for stats. I think there should be a difference between the rouge, tank, arcane classes that add a bit more to the pros and cons of using each. Hunters are fast, quick, agile, but less tanky and have less health/health regen, etc.

2:55 absolutely killed me LMFAO "holy shiii suck" .. "ohhh im a beast nvm"
Good video! Would love to see you do a D1 rumble lobby with the people you normally play with in d2 gun showcase vids.
I miss factions from D1. I really wish they would bring that back.
Hey, you guys remember actually having to level up a toon and having A-to-B quest design like in a proper RPG or MMO? Ahh, the feels…
Nice video. Personally I never played the original Destiny because Bungie thought that it was a good idea to never release a PC version.
Look at those graphics, damn, d1 had the atmosphere
9:06
This is the map I found my No Land shot messing around with friends in a private match. The memories.
Seeing this video makes me want to play destiny 1 again. You should make more videos on it. You could maybe do combined arms or to through Crota the strike or wrath of the machine!
Destiny 1 feels like the last time I genuienly talked to more than one person that I didn't work or live with
This is like playing Titanfall 2. Old but reliable and fun as fuck. When titanfall 2 wallah, you'd fall in LOVE WITH Titanfall 2 especially with the movement. Best part is you DONT have to play pvp with mechs all the time in it. There is PILOT VS PILOT only game mode
Titanfall 2 my favorite shooter of all time. Too bad the servers are almost dead these days.
@digiorno1142 and yet it still is the best first person shooter to this day to be honest. I have a feeling Wallaha would LOVE the movement of it with Grapple
Oh man. This brings up some memories. I miss my people and the game. Fun times, and sometimes not so fun 😂
back when the game was simple.... better times
Only because it was a “fresh” experience. D1 now would not fly lmao. But was fun for the time being
@@Black2overlordhard disagree .. don't see a reason why destiny wouldn't fly today .. d2 has more content but almost always more isn't better than "simple" (destiny)
@@sird_p8139 If you don’t think a game that literally didn’t drop content for a whole year would fly now? Lmao more so with how people act about destiny 2 and the reaction and backlash to looter shooters? If d1 and d2 both dropped as is, no ties fresh. d1 is a direct downgrade. You can disagree if you so please, but understand the state of gaming now and how it would translate. D1 is only revered as “good”, due to the game being a fresh experience. If you think destiny 1 would fly now, while you’re ignoring the events that are happening right now with d2. All I can do is laugh.
@@Black2overlord laugh away then..destiny y1 didn't bother me .. one can appreciate and rate a game on more aspects then content/dlc alone
@@sird_p8139 That. Has nothing to do with what was being said, but ok. Lmao.
I liked destiny 1. However the community praises it for being flawless just because of the issues d2 has. And I truly think, most of y’all forget how flawed d1 really was. D2 has just been out longer along with having way more attention to updates so the fatigue is really getting to people.
it takes a few days to get used to controller again, I became an MnK main back in 2018 and stayed on MnK until last year when I went back to controller. At first I was so bad, my centering was super off… but now I’m a controller main and haven’t gone back to MnK since. I think it took me a full week to go 100% back to normal
2:56 I’m crying bro 😭
LMFAO
Been playing D1 again for about a month now. Despite the obvious technical drawbacks it has soooo much more heart than D2. It’s just more fun as well. Bungie has lost their way with D2 it’s become this live service microtransaction FOMO seasonal monster.
Never played D1 but so nice to see how much love some of the longtime players have for the game. D2 probably my favourite game of all time but this makes me wish I played D1
D1 is a lot worse than d2 in almost every way but it definitely brings back a lot of good memories
@@Blue-qt8ms That's very debatable. With the microtransaction hell to basically "pay to enjoy" the game, it makes the image of D2 a lot worse. Also, the atmosphere in D2 is really nothing compared to D1, it's almost like you're in a hurry to keep up with everyone else.
And don't even get me started on the pvp.
D2 has nothing on D1. I could never fully get into D2 as the maneuverability on D1 was amazing. They left the best parts of D1 out of D2.
I always hated D1 not being on PC. You can find a surprisingly good amount of people who still raids, speedruns, farms, even play pvp.
I find D2 has brought some obvious improvements like the outfit thing, customizable shortcuts and so but overall D1 nailed so many things. And really wish they would have just continued it and not made D2. I love Destiny and its universe but D1 was special. It was so good.
This game has aged so well, if they brought legacy support I’d main this game over d2
I really wish they brought back bladedancer for D2, such a sick subclass. Sick name and sick skills along with it. So many memories man😭
There’s nothing stopping you from playing destiny one again
idc what anyone says house of wolves was my favorite expansion. Rerolling those legendaries with 5 motes.. i remember running out of motes and actually wanting to play activities to improve these guns. The craft system in d2 is extremely lengthy. They need to do a double/triple progression on craft weapon weekends or something because its a dying feature except for pve lords.
More of these man! You should come back more often there’s still plenty of public matches going on too! would be an honor to play with you - we still play crucible almost every day
What system to play on?
I've been playing this game since alpha well over 20k hours clocked through both games and I want to thankyou for helping bring an amazing community to what raised me as a child from age 10
Arcite is in D2 but he just stands next to Shaxx and spits out random voicelines
Wallah you’re a legend
The duality of man. “Holy shit I suck, hits snipe…oooh holy shit I’m a beast” lol
I literally have been playing d1 all day today doing 390 crota with randoms 😂
Anytime I mention raiding to my brother he's like "I remember how much time you spent in that room" 😂. But at least I got the glowhoo shader.
@@ugandanknuckles6586 lol such a goated shader 🔥
D1 PVP on Xbox is still competitive. just straight gunfights when the modes aren’t mayhem. and believe it or not, people are still speedrunning to see if they can get some type of records but the LFG on Xbox is indeed toxic
the impressive part is that there are still players in the game.
Favorite game ever honestly, this was core childhood memory
NLB needs to be added back into the game. Such a fun gun to use.
Serves no purpose. Would need a rework
@@Black2overlord oh for sure, It defs doesn't serve much of a purpose other than damage, but it feels great and there are plenty of people who want it back. A rework would be a good idea.
Sometimes… it doesnt need to serve a purpose, it just needs to be fun. Balance it around special ammo if you have to. But i just want to see it back in d2
Nothing beat siting in orbit in D1 until you fall asleep to the music
Destiny 1 was peak
I miss the vendor that you could buy ammo from so sick of running out of heavy and special ammo
Destiny 1 clears D2 by a mile and I don’t wanna hear anything else
Back when the devs actually gave a shit about the game
@@BretMFNTaylorRight, cared so much they didn’t drop content for almost a year? Crucible was in a more unbalanced spot and when TTK supers dropped they were mad OP and Taken long split the player base by once again, locking content behind paywalls. Good luck doing a nightfall if you didn’t have the dlc. Y’all so trapped in nolstagia y’all irrational. If both games dropped at the state they did now. D1 is a clear downgrade fundamentally. Outside of things that are completely based on opinion and user.
@@Black2overlord atmospherically d1 trashes d2 but regarding almost everything else d2 is better
@@Black2overlordyou're pfp explains you perfectly
@@Black2overlord I never played D1 when it came out, but ive done everything there is to do, maxed characters, raids and all in d1, made an alt account, am still working on that one, AND while playing d2 and I have to say, d1 feels WAYYYYYY better than d2. I would rather get no content for a year than circle jerk one activity for some shitty sory telling and dripfed content with no soul. The sand box feels MUCH better than d2. Idc if special weapons are "too overpowered and unbalanced" (- 🤓), a fucking white handcannon feels better than every single legendary handcannon I have used in d2, and primaries actually feel like they do something in pve, instead of "YoU nEed InCanDeCanT!1!" Also, small detail, everything about the new light experience some how by gods grace is better than d2. I would've given that one to d2 if they didn't put the red war on the chopping block, along with the other actually worth while stuff.
When you've been on 105 FOV for years, the 70 or so it is on console is impossible. Would love to see No Land Beyond come back to Destiny 2, though PvPers would probably hate to go against it!
Man, NLB was super fun.
It was VERY inefficient to use in PVE, but it was my go-to sniper anyways, lol.
I also had 2 of my 3 best PVP games ever using NLB.
Universal remote with longbow synthesis was such a mean combo
@@MichaeLPeterSSClips I used to run Universal Remote and Dry Rot/The Comedian with my bubble titan.
Called it my "cancer" loadout, because most matches ended with at least one person wishing me death, lol.
@@DeathsHood fair enough I used to run universal remote and longbow in trials for really small maps
because this game is better than d2
NLB and Venus are def the things I miss most from D1. Red death too, that thing was one of the few counters to thorn back when that thing was broken af
Day 221 asking for wallah to become the hammer of dawn aka devils ruin with wings of sacred dawn
The Gun sounds in D1 are just perfect Ace sounds a lot more intimidating than D2
D1 was better and idc what anyone else thinks
Destiny 1, back when snipping was fun and the locations weren’t just generic spaces.
Seeing the tower hit me in the feels. Hearing the music at the end of the video legit made me almost shed a tear man. D2 will never have anything close to the soul this game had.
Wow. This is a crazy blast from the past. I miss that map u first played in
Bro that emblem you’re wearing brought me back to when I’d watch you or people against you stream scrims on Twitch. Even emblems like the Real Krafty one are nostalgic to me
Since strand came out a friend of mine said he has been playing D1 so I joined him and found it refreshing. Plain ol strikes are a lot harder compared to the same strike on D2. But your vault is very limited.
Yeah I started a new account for D1 to play through it all again and had a blast. I also struggled with that red death bounce lol, forgot how mad it was
Man, for real, I think D2 will never feel like D1 felt, it was a great game, I had such a good time with it, made so many friends.... 😢. I think the beginning of D2 until the Black Spindle mission... I think that was the moment things went down for me... Anyways, D1 was great 😃
Cool watch, I only joined around season of the splicer so never got to see what all the mess was about with d1 :D
I appreciate the D1 video. I still go back to it now and then just to play random stuff with friends, I'll always love this game.
I may play D2 a lot but one thing I make absolutely certain to do is to not let my pvp skills in D1 diminish at all
I used to be hit by nostalgia really deep man, me and my brothers used to play it a lot together until forsaken
Thank you for the memories I was looking at my D1 vault.
I miss the large pvp maps with the vehicles
Nice video bro glad your back with D1 this game bring back alot of memories!
D1 is so much better than D2. It just feels and hits different
Had so many great memories playing this with my mate. Definitely one of the games of all time.
13:26 could be the fov too. Guns feel like they kick much harder on the low ass fov, believe it's like 72 degrees on D1
man destiny 1 pvp was nuts.
i remember the starter gun being broken in pvp
I will never forget the first time I booted up d1 on the xbox 360 and the joy I felt unlocking the jump boost for the titans lmfao
d1 art style was soo much better the lighting was great old pvp maps looked great now maps are either to dark or too damn bright
That was what so great about D1 pvp you can dominate pvp with almost any gun you don’t have to use the highest roll gun to compete
been playing this game more lately from time to time, and honestly while it is slower and all that, it just feels fun still. plus pvp doesnt make me wanna jump of a bridge due to server issues every .5 seconds lol
