i got the chance to ride the xdiavel s on a test day here in switzerland. what a beast of a bike, there's so much difference when you put it in sport mode, especially on the highway. it goes shiiiiiit crazy fast... overtaking is a piece of cake!

I rode a xdiavel a few days ago and absolutely loved it! Got 1 hour drive alone and on own terms. So beautifull! First stock bike where the mirrors were usefull. BUT! I must agree that you arc your back way to mutch and need to body-correct yourself often.
4:30 Is that an BMW r75 elephant? Obviously not from the 40s, looks too modern. But those are so cool! I'd love me one of those if I ever get a motorcycle with a sidecar on it.

Cool video! Had a chance to try the bike myself, the acceleration is definitely a lot faster than any traditional American cruiser. But the bike handles somehow strange, at very low speed the turning radius is huge, because of the long wheelbase(over 1.6m) and 30 degree rake. At speed, it turns very light and quickly, but in the turn, it feels strange because the 240mm rear tire, the contact patch is far away from the bike's center line. The launch control is more a launch assist, you release the clutch progressively, without practice, launch control can be slower than "manual" start. With that much power underneath you, it's scary to release the clutch at full throttle and over 9k rpm. The foot pegs are high off the ground, to give that 40 degree lean angle, but for me it's too high, and too far forward. It could be a better bike, or better cruiser, if, the wheel base is shorter, the rake is smaller, the rear tire is 200mm, and the rider triangle is more neutral, less cruiser-ish. Looks awesome though. Everyone I meet says, that's a sexy bike!
You should ride the 2017 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide a great feeling cruiser type ride that handles awesome. (and yes I am a sportbike rider). lol
im looking to buy a 125cc bike i just cant decide wich one i want, i really like the idea of a supermotard since i own derbi drd evo 50cc already and I really like cruisers although i haven't had any luck finding one that's really appealing to me
I have a Honda Varadero 125 from 2004 and it's a gorgeous bike! I've ridden the YZF, RC, CBR, RS4 and the WR before and I have to say that I'd get either a CBR or a WR if I was you ;)
This was a demo ride. Demo rides are done as a group on demo days that are pretty rare. Plus it's all about testing the new product, not about buying. Test rides are done by yourself if the dealer will even let you and that's only if you're about to buy. At least that's the way I see it all.

Then again the community is much smaller so waiting for a decent size group to be ready would take ages. Went to one demo event and I was probably the only one there for about an hour.

If you want a cruiser look at honda shadow 125. I ride a cb125f and Iam really happy about it. My bike just makes fun and is perfect for the city.
