This was a series that kept me glued to each part. Fields is really a depth actress. She takes through so many emotions from the deaths to the kindred heart of her many acquaintances to her children's lives. So happy to get the whole series without a wait. Thanks so much.

So nice to see a film with the realities of our dreams, illusions, mistakes and messes.... instead of happily ever after or a complete dumpster fire. Strange how few of these there are. Sally Field was suburb throughout and I had never even heard about this film.
Oh my, such a beautiful sad ending! So much pathos into such amount of time. Familiar things we know about that may be coming. And they have done a miracle with the aging process. Sally Fields acting ability is phenomenal. She doesn’t “act” the role of Bess, she is Bess. And I was sooo glad that the animosity of Sam to Bess didn’t last. That would have broken my heart. 💔💔💔
Life …. It has many twists and turns … will children ever know the love of a Mama ? The joy grandchildren brings .. the final moments of life .. and the memories that flood the mind .. perfectly scripted!
Her outside gruffness was just self protection, she was scared of being too soft & tender again only to lose another loved one. He understood that. My grandma was like that. Her demeanor hid a very loving heart.

Sally Fields, the 1st time I saw her age in a movie was Forest Gump. She's, I think about 77 now & has always been a superb actress worthy of awards! This is another that proves her talents, from the voice of a child to the actress of a lady who's lived a long & eventful life. Thank you for the download. This is one I've never seen & I'm sure I'll watch again. 😻😻
Love old movies, unpredictable story line, realistic portrayal unlike these new ones where it's all for the action basically the same thing, writers earned their coin with talent for sure
I first saw Sally Fields as the flying nun, ages ago. Great to see her in this story spanning a few generations. Esp. Loved parts 1 and 2. Part 3 was a wrap, but sped ahead at a much quicker pace. But glad I could see the whole story though.
It took me 2 wonderful days to watch this, wow I didn't want it to end, I was surprised she was so encouraging for her daughter to marry when she was so against it, I didn't understand what happened to arthur. The age progression and acting were amazing

She didn’t deserve her second husband. Poor guy. He gave her what she longed for in her first marriage and treated him with nothing but contempt.
