I watched Murphy’s Romance 💘 about 2 months ago. As soon as I finished it I was tempted to watch it the second time right away. Another one you should watch, if you haven’t already done so, is: One Special Night starring James Garner and Julie Andrews. It was really special too and I read that he and Julie Andrews had a special relationship. However, I’m glad that it didn’t imply that it was anything sexual. I also read somewhere that he said that to have a successful marriage an actor shouldn’t fall in love with his costar. 🥰🥰🥰💘💘💘

I’m so thankful I had friends, neighbors and family who were there in the beginning while I was still in shock & disbelief to bring food, help plan his service, clean house, do laundry, wash dishes, or just be there to sit with me in silence or listen if I needed to reminisce, talk or cry. Others helped with practical matters such as recommending I buy AAA roadside assistance; recommending a trustworthy financial advisor, going with me to our attorneys office to change our will to my will, set up medical POA, etc. Later, friends & neighbors came to haul off heavy outdoor things that had been piling up to be discarded, but my DH hadn’t gotten around to, yet. I was blessed by so many acts of loving kindness, and I try to pay it forward whenever I can. Something I heard someone say still rings true with me: “The love and grief we feel for our lost loved one never ends. We go on by tucking it away in a special place in our heart, then going about living by opening our hearts and minds to the next chapter of our lives.” I truly hope this helps someone out there reading this. ❤️
It has been decades since I saw this mini-series. Sally Field must have been in her early forties playing this character. She could pull off pretty much any part she played as believable! Nice to see this uploaded, with all parts intended. On to part two...

I love to see this kind of love and devotion in a love union, and good old fashioned family values where a man is in his masculinity and is non toxic, and a woman in her femininity being not toxic in the family unit. ❤❤❤❤ i especially loved how when she had a human moment of letting out her frustration and directing it at her son in an abusive manner, once made to stop and take thought on what shed done, she realised her human mistake and quickly made it right with her son and their bond. I think we remember that, as do I, because of the context we always heard or read about her. I looked this subject up and others question it too. But articles say things like Sally Field's new movie etc. In possessive form. Some words also seem easier to hear as plural. Field is a actual noun. One field, many fields. An s wouldn't be automatic on other names like Taylor or Green!

She took responsibility in that she refused to take advantage of the accident to sue the driver, because she knew that it wasn't his fault. She also feels a mothers guilt because she was so taken up with her Shakespeare society instead of concentrating on her daughter's hand.

Why in the world did they even have to mention that ... I'm only about 8 minutes into the movie but they could have left that out ... that really messed with my head ... and my heart .

Oh this again-so like TH-cam, where is part2 with Sally Field?!!!!!!!!! And what happened to The CBC version of The Campbells story. Just discontinued with no
notice. It was a good series set in late 1800"s and when I typed it in recently the Episodes list was gone! Why?
They probably uploaded it illegally and got caught so they had to take it down.

I always enjoy Sally Fields' acting . . . However, in this instance I find that the closed captions occur about two sentences after the spoken words. . . . Hopefully this can be corrected, & isn't a problem in parts 2 & 3.
Totally agree and the quality of the picture is very poor and unclear. WHY?? It’s very frustrating! Hopefully parts 2&3 will be much improved. I truly feel this is an Excellent Film but this video & audio fails to do it justice!!!
