Wow! What a movie! Talk about deception and being unscrupulous and evil,that man was all of that and more.Very good plot and storyline. Young lawyer was superb,did the right thing at the end.Justice was finally served.The world is full of lies,deceit, dishonesty,bribery and fraud.Seems to be the norm these days,but thanks be to God for the few who will not compromise their beliefs and moral values and hold on to their dignity and integrity.
A little more subtlety in some of the roles would have been an improvement, but the general concept of this film makes it quite memorable, enough so to be rewatchable more than just a few times. Quite recommendable, and thanks for the upload!

I loved the Molly Ringwald character its good to see a strong woman character who is also a bit vulnerable as that makes her more realistic and relatable unlike what we keep seeing in movies now which is strong women that come across as loud pushy and with too much attitude.

No. She mentioned double jeopardy in the telephone call near the end so my guess would be bigamy again since he married the third wife. The first trial only dealt with the first two wives. So no double jeopardy.
Molly Ringwald is one awesome actress , loved her in PRETTY IN PINK , SIXTEEN CANDLES , THE BREAKFAST CLUB , and other films . This was also good , I knew the blonde had something to do with that guy that was the bigamist , especially when she mentioned naming her baby after the man who saved her life . Be careful who you date or marry , it is never a fairytale come true .
