Chad, A little advice for making the unit removable. I built the air system on my street rod and did the same approach so the system was mounted all together to be moved to the bench to troubleshoot it. I made plugs for all the electrical connections so the system could be unplugged to remove. Takes a little time but well worth it in the end.
Loving the fully floating anti roll bar bushing. Loving the rear window too. Wasn't sure about the modification, you sure have an eye. Keep on chopping.
Hi all my favourite folk at Hiltz Auto fabrication. It's good to be back in the workshop wit you all. This is quality entertainment Of the best caliber. If I were young enough to take on board what you teach It would definitely make me want to have a goat it.
Love watching your shows! Been working with metal since school. Not much beats constructing something useful from bare material. Keep up the good work. Oh totally jealous of anyone who has their own workshop. Can't sleep, go work on stuff. Stressed, depressed, anything, art is a great healer. ✌
Air ride sensors . I never had any luck with them . After watching this video I think I found out why I was having so many problems with it . Thumbs-up Jolene 👍 and 👍 Chad
Hey Chad love your & Jolene's show! I'd like to say when I get a piece done & fresh bare metal I like to prime it straight away, it can be a bit of a pain but in the long run it's saves time!
It's going to be awesome 👌 with air ride system just a thought to me it looks as if the tyres on full lock may rub on the sensor may have to put on the inside of chassis rail
that back window looks outstanding, i don't like it when you announce you was going to change it, but I kept my gob short and just waited, outstanding.
I'm Amazed At Those Senor Switches! ... Seems Like That Rod And Switch Will See A Lot Of Action As You Drive Down The Road! ... Be Interesting To Know How They Hold Up! ... Again! Another Great Video Chad & Jolene!!!
Nice video...its cool how you explain what your doing each step of the way...the car looks really cool...be nice to see this one painted and the stainless applied..thanks Chad and Jolene for another great video
Hey Guys, Chad you should cut the pieces of rod (for the air ride) a little short. That will allow for fine tuning when complete. The clamps are designed to allow you to slide the rod in or out to allow adjustments. When you get it where you want it tighten the clamps. Keep it up!!
Keep on progressing. The Merc will be done soon. It will be great to see this car going up and down by itself. Looking forward to more of the windshield work and how the vinyl wrap works out.
This will be interesting! The air ride set up is always a challenge, but I'm sure Chad will make it look easy! Chad and Jolene it was awesome to hear about you both attending the Motorama!
Another very helpful and informative audio and video. Like Chad always says, if he can do it ,we can do it. Use you brain and figure it not and if it don't work the first time try again. Very good encouragement and advice. Thank you Jolene, Chad, and Fina. Bill
Suggestion: as you have the arm fully raised, now take a measurement from that stop point to the stop when the suspension is fully extended. Now measure the total range of the sensor arm. The sensor arm travel at the link hole must be slightly less than your stop travel. The sensor arm lever length may need shorteneing or lengthening so its travel matches your stop travel. I only say this because the sensor mounting position may be dependant on the final length of the sensor arm and its travel. Only then would I mount it.
I think you need to put the tire back on and let the car down on the ground. Measure the ride height by measuring the distance to the bump stop. Then jack it up and remove the wheels. By jacking up the car with only one wheel, you are getting the tire too far up in the fender well.
I love how you and your friends help each out. Jimbo is so comical and very knowledgeable. Your cars are amazing. I watch your videos every night.
Great to have a network of friends to help each other!
I'm just Wondering about the Tyre clearance when you turn hard left or right .. do you have enough to turn
Good job on the sensors. Thanks for sharing your time with us again today.😊

I am thinking a link going up to the upper control arm not the Lower. The sway bar still needs to be swung around to connect to the Lower.
Keep on progressing. The Merc will be done soon. It will be great to see this car going up and down by itself. Looking forward to more of the windshield work and how the vinyl wrap works out.
Just another rockin video! You and Jolene are hitting it out of the park...

New to the channel, and enjoyed what I saw. Your talented and knowledgeable. Thanks!
The air ride stuff is new to me and have never had first hand on it but looks pretty easy

I can't wait to see this one or the 40 done. I like both rides.
