I have never even looked at that chrome because I thought it was just for door edges and stuff like that. My mind is blown, you guys are both amazing people, wish nothing but the best for you both
The paint, the chrome the total design is amazing! Creativity is in your blood! Another enjoyable time spent watching your TH-cam Channel! Congrats Jolene and all the voters for getting back to 1st place in the Miss Jet Set standings! Don't forget to vote everyone!!
Another creative idea, looks stunning and is a real throw back to the 50's era, can't wait for the side pieces to be added and painted/chromed. Great work as always BOTH of you
The colour’s on the dash look great I can’t wait to see the car painted it’s going to look amazing. I hope jolene is feeling better today you can’t keep a good woman down well done jolene and look after her Chad ❤️👍
I used this on the outside of my new Yorker and it worked well as long as long as i I sealed the edges with clear finger nail polish to keep moister from getting into it
Chad did a great job with the dash yesterday. jolene was able to do a very excellent video of the untaping process. Keep on with it. Joene i hope your back is getting better.
You know, not everyone needs to agree all of the time. That's what makes this world interesting. Sometimes I don't agree with the styling you do, we're different in some ways. BUT MAN THAT DASHBOARD IS AMAZING! And that Buddy, is why I watch your channel. Carry on.
Looks real nice. Like you said its being creative. I was thinking maybe two or three rows chrome leave some red paint show and two or three rows on bottom would look nice also. I guess its really endless in what you can do,,Great video.. I have a 55 Chevy maybe ill try to mimic the overly priced repro chrome strips that go on the door panels. My door panels are plain flat black ........
Here is what we did in the van conversion industry for moldings. We made a wood box 2'x2'x2' with a lid hinged. Then we put a 60 watt bulb set up on the inside of the lid, centered. We would then put the molding in the box. Turn on the light and leave the molding in the box for 30 to 45 min. This will make the molding pliable to go around corners and odd or different shapes. Then when the molding cooled. It would keep it's shape. Plus it helps with activating the adhesive to help stick better. Hope this might help you out on applying molding to what ever. Peace and love......
There are millions of videos that tell how to do stuff. You showing us technique in real time explaining what you are doing and why is top notch. Thanks. It is said, "behind every good man is a good woman", in this case I say Joleen is standing right next to you, not behind.
For over a year and a half 2 o'clock in the afternoon has been my time with Chad and Jolene it's been a great run and hopefully it will keep going, He never ceases to amaze me
It’s funny, when I was around 12 in 1969. I had a cousin that lived in Buffalo NY and he loved as he called them “hot rods”. Listening to you talk reminds me of how he sounded with the accent. I know he would have loved your channel! But unfortunately he passed in the late 70’s after an accident in a 6 wheel amphibian at 32 years of age. The reminder is sad, but happy at the same time. Thank you!
What you're doing besides creating beautiful rolling art, is demonstrating to people that if they want to they can do the same. You very inspiring 👍👍👍👍👍
Chad, try cutting your air bag tubing with a single-sided razor blade at a perfect 90 degree angle using a clean metal backing to guarantee a nice clean trouble-free connection ... also, always blow out the brass fittings before using them to make sure they are perfectly free of any "junk" particles ! ... Another "A+" for all your videos ... You two are the very bestest !!!
Love watching Bad Chad & Queen Joleene. Thanks for all you do to teach skills that no one else does. I'm greatfull and know many others are as well . Many thanks to you and Joleene. This info is so valuble to gear heads .
The Dash-pod is quite stunning. It is finely crafted. Creativity is your specialty. It's an area you are gifted in. Both you and Jolene are quite talented in your video and car production. Thanks so much for your hard work, time and dedication! A fantastic video adventure.
Looks great, I recommend using 3m 94 primer it comes in a nail polish style bottle we use it on motorcycles to help with vibration and heat..another awesome video
I first used that chrome about 20 years ago! And I took it one step further! I used Blue-Red-Purple-green-&-gold anodized spray paint! Over the chrome in ginger light coats! Then I striped out my Harley gas tank.
The chrome tape looks great, I've Been using it for years to add to and dress up striping packages as a 3M Trim-Line distributor there were 150 distributors across Canada up until 1992 when 3M withdraw the name from use and we became independents. Thanks Mark Dutka Oakville Ontario Canada
THANKS! you just solved a big problem for me on my 1950 fleetline Chevy grill thats got rust holes in it and I dont have the money to spend hundreds on a OEM one
That's the thing about this channel that appeals to me, you find a way of using your talent to make what it takes to get the job done, the essence of hot-rodding
Looks awesome. I have used this "Flex Chrome" before and I love it. I have a Very high-end Deuce Roadster and I used this adhesive Flex chrome for the center strip on the 3 piece hood because it is the hot rod hood with no center hinge, unlike the 4-piece stock style "Butterfly" hood .
I wrapped mine with mirror chrome after sanding and filling the pits. 3M ORACAL and it's made in Canada, hey what about that. this is my 43 year doing interior on automobiles . It a must to learn how to find alternative ways to create a different way to make it happen. really like seeing you perform .
Jolene, Chad- Time for a field trip to the thrift store and then the dollar store. Check out all the Stainless Steel bowls, servers, knife handles, etc. Stainless that has been gone over with a buffing wheel and rouge will look even better than chrome. No one will know that the knobs on your dash came from pepper grinders.
Brad, you're so very right. You don't give your ball cap to a collector give it to someone that is going to wear it. At my old shop, we would products like this. Just because of the cost of sending something out to get it re-chromed, and the wait time. We couldn't meet their budget or the time they wanted it back by. 🤔
Back in the day are used to work for a chrome plating company. And you’re right on your prices. I was able to chrome all of my stuff for free when I worked there. It was awesome I loved it. But anyway I love the stick on chrome.
You guys inspire me everyday .it's always a joy to watch. Even if it was a bad day. I sit and watch bad Chad and his lovely camera lady makes the bad day go away. Keep em coming chaddy boy and camera girl aka her joleanness
I love your color scheme on the dash. Years ago, I restored a 1962 Ford Falcon Futura. The dash had a similar instrument pod to your car. This feels like a little validation of my thought process. I painted it. I won't claim it looked as good as your work, but it makes me feel good that it tried something similar to your work.
Good evening jolene and chad hope all is well with you and your family and thank you for sharing your knowledge and information chad also thank you so much jolene for making it possible and congratulations to all of the winners
Colors are absolutely perfect for that car...dash looks absolutely amazing. I would've never thought about using that chrome trim to replace the stainless. Almost looks like it came like that.
I have never even looked at that chrome because I thought it was just for door edges and stuff like that. My mind is blown, you guys are both amazing people, wish nothing but the best for you both
That dash is absolutely gorgeous !!! I am so inspired by your videos, please keep more videos coming .
The color of the cluster is perfect ! Ties everything together . So cool . The eye on the budget is how i was raised . Thank you Both & Fina too .
The paint, the chrome the total design is amazing! Creativity is in your blood! Another enjoyable time spent watching your TH-cam Channel!

Nice how its comming together. That dash already looks like a masterpiece of Chad! Cant wait to see when its done.
The dash is looking SPECTACULAR!!! I am very partial to satin black and chrome. They always look "rich" together!!
Amazing the look Chad gets using inexpensive materials and some good know how!
I used this on the outside of my new Yorker and it worked well as long as long as i I sealed the edges with clear finger nail polish to keep moister from getting into it
Chad did a great job with the dash yesterday. jolene was able to do a very excellent video of the untaping process. Keep on with it. Joene i hope your back is getting better.

looking forward to another outstanding installment of the Chad and Jolene show!
I have been using chrome strips for many years. Saved money and it comes out better then factory. Good show Chad 👍
Really wonderful! I am curious how well the chrome trim holds up to heat. Just love your work Chad!
I put this chrome tape on the grille of my '77 Shorty Dodge Van almost a year ago. Still looks great.
I have to say no to the plastic chromeish strips. Sorry, just me saying.
No one asked for your opinion.
Looks real nice. Like you said its being creative. I was thinking maybe two or three rows chrome leave some red paint show and two or three rows on bottom would look nice also. most reasonable products+ talent, and crreativity... priceless, great job chad.

Absolutely amazing how something so cheap can make something look like a million dollars. Well done Chad. Voting time for Jolene now. Cheers everyone
That dash looks amazing. I have used that chrome for years.
It's your car to do what pleases you.

And just like that, plastic chrome is sold out everywhere, awesome job!

Very creative and a smart way of adding the BLING back to this beautiful piece!
You continue to break the sides of "the box".... thank you Sir! Love it !!

Coming along beautifully....another vote for Jolene today
I first used that chrome about 20 years ago! And I took it one step further! I used Blue-Red-Purple-green-&-gold anodized spray paint! Over the chrome in ginger light coats! Then I striped out my Harley gas tank.
Never was a big fan of chrome but you have made a custom look using the chrome tape, I can dig that. :)
"Anybody can be creative. All you have to do is use your own brain." Great quote.
This is got to in my opinion one of the best if not the best build so far
"Chroming" without the absurd cost and nasty chemicals. That's a win-win!!! Looks terrific.
The dash turned out amazing!!! Elvis is coming alive infront of our very eyes!!!
Nice work chad , do what you do and don’t listen to the negative feedback , the proof is in the finished product and you always deliver ,
You have amazing vision and are truly an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talents!
This show is the best car building show on youtube
Great job, Have learned a great deal for my 72 GMC short bed Pro street ,Thanks for all the time you both take to do all of the videos !!!!

Man. I'm loving that I found your videos. Your attitude and drive to be doing something you want to do, has me doing it on off time.

Enjoyed your creativity and showing an alternative method of placing a chrome accent to your vehicle.
Man that is the best color for Elvis! Well done you and Jolene!.

I am looking at the picture of the dash before the video has even started and it looks really nice!! Well done.

Back in the day are used to work for a chrome plating company. And you’re right on your prices. I was able to chrome all of my stuff for free when I worked there. It was awesome I loved it. But anyway I love the stick on chrome.

Great minds think alike? Great idea which is right in line with the major automobile manufacturers who've been using more and more plastics for years.
Hi Jolene, Chad, and Fina. Chad has a great mind for being creative and a great eye for detail. I hope you are feeling better Jolene. Bill
Colors are absolutely perfect for that car...dash looks absolutely amazing. I would've never thought about using that chrome trim to replace the stainless. Almost looks like it came like that.
