- Today we go all the way back to 1949 when Airlift was founded in Lansing, Michigan. Did you know nearly every racing team ran Airlift in the NASCAR Grand National Circuit back in the 1950’s? A+ video. I would actually ask for a video series like the one you have with your wheel match-up. Example: track, street racing, drifting, average joe, and stance set-ups for light (Civics, Golf), medium (SUV, crossovers), and heavy (trucks, escalades) vehicles. I think that would bring a nice crowd over to your shop and site. Keep up the great work bros.

If you're doing suspension videos, KSport is an amazing company i dont think enough people know about. They make springs, entry level coils, track/drift/rally specific racing coilovers, air suspension and management, BBK and a ton of other suspension goodies....its all US made and the qualitu control is very extensive. Definitely a company worth looking into👍👍

Coilovers are almost always better than air suspension FOR THE MONEY. $3k coilovers will ride and handle MUCH better than $3k air suspension. Air suspension is theoretically better for active suspension, but most active systems use adjustable dampers instead due to lower weight and fewer failure points. There are some good OEM air suspension setups, but that tends to be for comfort, not handling. It's a fun party trick, though

I was actually a little bit disappointed in my AirLift System. Overall the fit and finish of the suspension was awesome and it had that "WOW" factor with the 3P system (on my 16' WRX) - but the ride quality suffered a lot (which was the primary reason I went with air suspension). Between the ride quality and the anxiety of blowing airlines, I decided to get out and sell the car and get an Evo. Ride quality is vastly superior on the Evo on stock springs, IMHO. Really cool to see the history of the AirLift though.
Did you play with your damper settings? had to play around with damper setting till i dialed in the perfect ride quality.
MadStyle yep! I had all dampeners connected and dialed them in. It just wasn't for me, I don't think. For the $4000 I paid I wasn't entirely impressed, especially with the noisy vair compressor refilling the tank every time I'd get in the car.

Was tired of the WRX - always wanted an Evo and could afford it so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've only been in one 15+ STI with Air Lift (personally, I own a 2011 and 2012 WRX on Air Lift) and it felt pretty good. It was however the prototype vehicle which was setup by Air Lift. I have a feeling you just needed some more fine tuning as these suspensions have tons of variables and adjustments which ultimately effect ride quality.

theyre capable of air suspension for hauling, towing and motorhomes/rv's. i think they know a thing or two about making a track capable suspension. there's a lot more than the shock and spring (or bag in this argument) that goes into perfect handling dynamics. i would run an air suspension for track days any day of the week, hard parking and performance in one package

So I just found out about a company called "Yellow Speed". I really can't find many reviews online about them. Wondering if you guys to perhaps shed some light on this company. All I know is they're located in Texas and they manufactured coilovers and big brake kits. And their suspension is priced about the same as BC.

I remember building my 1st air setup for my 85 c10 back in 2008 and I just guessed at everything. Trial and error got it dialed in and crazy the amount of tech in air suspension now.

Deadman 25 I I’m the Front is torsion bars but the back is a solid axle with 3 link with a watts link on tall and fat air bags I’d use a active torsion suspension like the 1950s Packer motor company or more advanced but I haven’t tried to figure it out and make it work that’s one thing I will agree is setup makes a difference ( between car that have similar bolt ons) but I respectfully disagree that static suspensions have a leg up otherwise I like the video
