The 62 comes in for a complete RideTech suspension kit along with e-level air management and an AccuAir CVT. James steps it up a notch with a beautiful fabricated hard-line install. Watched the whole video a d didnt even see the end results.. I wanted to see how it sat at the highest a d lowest settings. Plus wanted to hear it.
Everything looks good. But my question to you is can the bag brackets be altered to have a lower stance when drop all the way down? If the goal is to lay frame will this setup work If the brackets were altered?

I have a 70 Chevy Impala and I love what you did with the white 64 Impala. And Now with the 62 Impala. What would the price be with the full setup. With only Front, Back, &, Pancake setup!. Plus keeping all my original parts on my ride.
Sorry for the delayed response Rey. Air ride for your Impala would start around $7500 installed and go up to around 10k with all the bells and whistles

The trunk setup is beyond incredible. Cleanliness at it's finest. Great idea with the Custom tank mount. I noticed you mounted the tank with the two outside quick mounts and did not use the middle. No problems with just two mounts? Thanks in advance
Sorry for the delay Will, the tank is very structurally sound. I would be very surprised to see it become an issue 👍🏼
Switch Suspension thanks! I went ahead and built a tank bracket for my 63’ Lincoln and eliminated the middle mount. Also used your height sensor trim kit, awesome product. ✌🏻

What happened to Plug and Play in the beginning he said everything bolt in I see a lot of extra stuff going on
Any issues with the exhaust heat near the rear bags? Also, any rubbing with wider tires in the rear? I'm starting on my 62' now and have concerns. Actually think about installing turn-down pipes before the rear axle to remove all doubt. Thoughts? Thanks in advance! Great looking deuce btw
Yeah definitely have to take in account the exhaust. Keep the heat away from the bags as much as possible and heat wrap if you have to. We can typically still run the exhaust along the outside of the frame over the axle.
This might sound dumb, so I’m sorry about that, but where are the compressors located?

This install used the Accuair Endo CVT that had the compressor inside the air tank. Unfortunately that system was very prone to failure and every install we did has been swapped for traditional style external compressors
One less all original less in thr world he just raised the value of them a little bit...id do the same

Did you need to cut or fabricate the front spring pocket for the new air bags not to rub?
No, there’s no trimming or fabrication on the front spring pockets
How long does this take (lookig for same set up on my 62 impala) and how far booked out are you guys?
Apologize for the delayed response. Typically we are 2-3 months out for full air suspension install
Looks like the tail pipes are close to the rear bags, how much heat can air bags take?
We saw that too so we built heat shields to keep the bags happy but in the end still was too close so we re-routed the exhaust further away from the bags 👍🏼

I am gonna do my '61 I was wondering,the rear end and the pan hard bar. doesn't the pan hard bar make the car s rear wheels go to one side more than the other when in full low mode?? thanks
Only when using the factory track bar. We use an adjustable track bar from Ridetech to keep it centered at the lower ride height

Every setup is a little different but 10-12k installed
Not that it matters but I think it would have looked clean if you had painted the mounting bar for the tank with the same spatter paint that's in the rest of the trunk and left the tank chrome or even spatter paint on the tank too so it would kind of blend it in with the trunk but everyone has their likes and dislikes

I got air bags and need installed on my 87 cutlass
All that suspension upgrade and you don't convert to disc brakes in front. What a shame.

I bet it's now been removed because it's expensive junk that didn't work.
Every CVT install we did has been converted to a VT with external compressors. The compressor tank was such a disappointment. Everything else from Accuair has been very reliable.
