Thats 1 in 1500 units world wide special edition corolla, bigger engine, very light weight, it looks really nice, those factory wing and double canards are so nice, the undercarriage is totally sealed as well, my buddy went to 7 different dealership just find one. I want one too but they hard very hard find, Hopefully soon!
It's definitely unique and stands out from the Golf GTI.
I am in a lease at the moment, but am seriously thinking about this hatchback, in same color my VW Tiguan is in ( Metallic Black) ❤️ it.

Great review. I agree that hatchbacks are better than CUVs/SUVs, especially if you don't need AWD. Hatchbacks/sedans are also so much more fun to drive than CUVs/SUVs/trucks due to the lower center of gravity and lighter curb weight. BTW, there are under seat vents that guide air-conditioned air from underneath the front seats to the rear seats. So I'm sure Boomer wasn't too hot.

I know its just a corolla, but I would spend 30k on this, it has bigger engine, super light, lots of cargo space since they remove the spare tire for weight reduction, Im a honda guy, but there is no way Im gonna pay 45k on civic, even its typeR. Over size ugly wheels, over size spoiler, 45k civic thats looks unnecessarily aggressive, ill take this slick looking 27k corolla. I personally test drove it, its fast, handles well. 2L 4cylinder NA, lots of room to make more power along the way, put turbo kit if you wanna make it a bit faster. Some coils to lower it a little bit
you went with the hot hatch comparison as other reviewers. i want gas mileage and reliability. cornering, high revs and all that non sense.
I no longer drive cars for mpg goals because it doesn't matter.
I skipped this review after the first 5 minutes.. too many negative remarks and almost like a resentment tone towards this vehicle.
Maybe that's YOUR attitude?

@@RoadandTract I finally had a chance to test drive this (same trim) and I am going to put forward a financing application for a 2021 model. I fell in love it over other similar vehicles I've been looking at. Just an FYI.
