It didn't fix it because you replaced the wrong sensor. The part you had was the correct 3rd sensor, the one you replaced was the 2nd sensor (green). The 3rd sensor (gray) is just in front of the transmission fluid dipstick, underneath the battery tray. It can be accessed by removing the battery and tray, or removing the drip guards and coming in from the bottom.

my be a important point will be that D light can be blinking for some other reasons, mine is a 2006 civic 1.8 it had a u0121 code (ABS module lost comunication). the issue was two broken wires at the abs module. the CAM signals which means communication in betwing ECM and ABS modules

Ok I got a blinking D and code P0848 which is a transmission fluid pressure switch. I brought the part and tried to change it. Initially it didn't flash anymore, but about 30 miles later the blinking D came back. Do I also need to change the ATF fluid and do a 3x drain and refill? I know for a fact the last person who changed it didn't use the Honda genuine brand-just a Castrol Honda approved brand. Does that matter? Thanks for your help.
If I recall I changed the wrong clutch. so I went back and corrected. so make sure you did the right one, and not the wrong one. Can easily be missed. Castrol should be fine. I use that all the time for Oil, but transmission I read Castrol is the replacement. Do not let the Hondaforum tell you different Lol I make sure you got the right part, right one and cleared the code. transmission fluid does not need to be changed. The sensor touches the fluid. So if you feel it should I do it for Peace of mind. One change be fine. If a code comes on, you can clear it, and normally they will not return, If trouble is present, they will return after many miles, and work on each 50 miles. If they keep coming on every 50 miles you truly have a trouble.

Search the following proven good TH-cam video instead: Error Code: P0843 REPLACE 2nd clutch transmission fluid pressure switch. (Video is by Thurmond Goins) I used it on a 2009 CRV and it's proper instruction. Good luck!
In addition, be prepared to enter your anti theft radio code into the radio to play it after the battery is reconnected to the engine. This code can be found on a card (business card sized) within your owner's manual. Good luck!
D is a transmission channel bank, if it is 1, 2, 3, or 4, these moduls can get replaced, by deciding which one it is for me I did the 3rd one, and shown the wrong one done
I know you added the red note on your mistake but this note doesn't show up on a tablet (Samsung Tab S). A better way is just to grab the original video and add the note in your video with whatever video editor you used then reupload it. Very misleading and confusing video. I then reloaded this video on the PC then I saw the red note. Other then that, thanks for spending the time to making this repair video.

You should probably delete this video since it is completely misleading. This video shows replacement of 2nd clutch sensor NOT 3rd - and will NOT solve a PO845 code.
I do not think anyone thinks the entire video is wrong by what you wrote in red. The entire video is wrong. I replaced the wrong switch because of the video and a person can ruin the transmission putting a 3rd switch in the 2nd switch spot.

@@gorgo9208 four sensors on the Trans I do not recall each P code, the Blinking D is in the Manual may not offer much advice there but a start, For me I start with a ATF-Z1 change, find each sensor and clean, can be a simple clog, there is a filter for the transmission inside not many do change out. if advice is needed get with a shop technician, pull them to the side to spend a few minutes they are helpful get them a cup of coffee and chat.

If it's Honda Odyssey period you always use the dw1 period fuild.

corrected by swapping to the correct clutch position. I placed on 2nd by mistake. After a few years later a new car, trans went.

you need to correctly change the one you are after, mine was next to the dipstick.I do not want to steer you wrong.
Wrong sensor bud, the third clutch sensor is on the front of the trans below the dipstick.

what are you saying that your Trans is over heating as well your car shuts down, then restarts itself?

remember change the right one I found it later on and replaced the correct sensor it did at the time, yes
