Great stuff here SS, I really think the guardhouse boxes is the nexts best things to capsules,,they are now a must in my stacking///collecting adventure. 🇺🇲🦅⚖️🗽
Exciting update! The presence of Rose number [39] embodies the spirit of collaboration within our creative garden here at Cointales. Let's keep cultivating this shared space together! 🌹🌷🌼 Thank you for being a vital part of it! 😊💖
Those proofs are stunning! Really enjoy watching you fill those GHB's! So cool to see all the different rounds you have acquired! Capsules can be a pain in the butt sometimes! Have a great week!
Awesome stuff. Yeah those Hecla rounds were some of the nicest I’ve seen. The proof field was superb. Surprised they didn’t fit in those capsules though.
I love those rounds! I'm sure it wasn't the capsule but more the size of the black ring. Pretty sure I have the 39MM rings and I need the 40MM for those. I acquired a Dansco silver round book!! I'll show that coming up and Hecla rounds are perfect for that.
Wow, that Hecla round looks like it just came out of the mint yesterday...amazing! Wow, those are all great looking rounds. I'm doing some catch-up, as usual. It's almost full! Keep up the good work!
Great stuff! This video reminds me of 2 vintage rounds I bought a couple years ago. I remember them with a old tractor and the phrase "Farming, Americas bread and butter"...I will have to dig through my treasure chest and find them. I bought them at a LCS for a couple bucks over spot and thought they were cool rounds...and I have never seen them on eBay before.
G'day Silver Struck, the guardhouse box for rounds is very cool and something I haven't seen very often, awesome trade with Mark S, some very nice vintage silver rounds, especially the Draper Mint Swiss of America rounds, the 1985 Hecla proof round is very special, I enjoyed seeing you add 2 Sunshine Mining rounds to the box, great to see one side of the box completed, thanks for sharing some very cool rounds. Cheers Peter J 😂👋🔥💪🇦🇺 🐨🦘👍
Sunshine rounds are one of the only rounds I always pick up whenever I see them. Much more scarce than Prospectors, etc. If I pick up duplicates of years you need, please let me know!
I really appreciate your kindness Silver Struck, I just left 2 comments on CSAN's latest video giving you a shout out for your support to me for my love of Sunshine Mining items, like you said the nicely toned 1oz Sunshine bar was the highlight for me. Cheers Peter J 😂🙏👍
@@peterj8278 Found the comment and yes- missed it! Thank you for the kind words on CSAN's channel, very nice sir. Once we get past the holidays and I have the time to hunt for vintage, I'll see what I can find for Sunshine dates. I have 4 1991's but can't seem to find the later 1990's dates.
Beautiful pick-ups sir.. Ima have to start a GH-Box for rounds myself. Thus far iv only collected 1oz bars in GH-Boxes.. Thank you for yet another fun video !!
The GHB for rounds is pretty neat! You might have fun collecting with one- works out great if you can't find cool bars. I re-counted my USVI's and have 100 ounces if I count that USVI round, so video coming up on that soon!
I bought this silver round. It looks to be vintage. It has a fairly wide rim with concave center on both sides. I think concave is the right word. It's from the Rarities Mint. Have you ever heard of that mint? I bought it at an LCS in Lansing, Michigan. I figure if anyone knows about this mint it will be you.
Rarities mint is out of California. I know the ones you mean. Couple different ones. Freedom or Liberty I think. Thicker rounds with the concave. Think they are from the early or mid 80s but just guessing. They made alot of Disney stuff as well.
I see you had a great answer to your question down below! I'm familiar with Rarities Mint but don't have much from them in the collection. The older pieces are vintage for sure and the ones from the 1990's soon to be vintage.
Those are some nice rounds. I collect silver rounds but I put them in pages that go in a binder so I can see what I have easily and I have different themes on each page. I have a page of pre-86 silver eagles, I think all the mints stopped putting variations of "silver eagle" on rounds once the US mint started minting ASE's. I have pages for the different trade units, alternate currencies, freedom rounds, silver bulls, etc. There doesn't seem to be any central resource on silver rounds, unlike silver art bars that have a collector group and catalog of different bars and mintages. I get out to shops and shows and talking to older dealers you can find out about the different mints that aren't around anymore and what rounds they made.
There more resources for vintage bars vs rounds, I agree. The silver art bar collectors have volumes of books put together but I have not seen that done for rounds. For my collection I use a combination of GHB's and albums. Recently, I was able to acquire the Dansco silver round album! There are two of those in my collection now- one for the one ounce and another for two ounce rounds.
@@SilverStruck there are some round and bars listed on numista. Agroundworld has a lot of vintage rounds for sale and their catalog is a good source of information. Dansco makes nice albums but it is way too expensive for the size of my collection.
Great video more silver for your stack i have no end of problem's with capsule's over here see i stack mostly American coins and the diameter's are different you can't get them over here ive looked on Ebay and Amazon and you can only buy them by the box . anyway i hope you and your family have a happy Christmas and a prosperous new year happy stacking my friend from English Dave 😃
Always good to see you English Dave! Most of the rounds are 39MM but there are other diameters that I get it that do not work with the capsules I'm working with. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well good sir!
I'm right on the NH seacoast- a mile or so inland, so the dusting we got is melting already! Didn't even put the plow on the truck for this event. I'm sure that will change if we get a NorEaster!
Thanks for sharing I just found your channel and enjoying it so far!! Do you have a group/forum/chat group with other collectors/stackers that may want to trade rounds? I have several duplicates of vintage rounds but not many people specifically looking. Thanks for your channel!
Glad you like the channel and welcome! There are many social media sites used to trade or sell silver, FB, Snap, Whatnot and more. I stick to YT and here we just email or text each other with trade offers. Great people here- top notch community.
I take the black ring out and stretch it around the round before putting it in the capsule.
Great advice! I'm new to using capsules with the black ring. Typically I just use the direct fit capsules. I'll pin this comment for others to see!

Great additions I really like the George Washington round 👍
That one is in BU condition- never seen the bin!
How much is GW@@SilverStruck
Wow wow wow! Superbly done, very nice trades and pickups from the community. Cheers and keep stacking 😊✌🏻
Thank you SG2!

I have so many outtakes of trouble with capsules, lol! If I was smart, I'd test everything before creating a video but oh well- no fun in that!
Lots of awesome scores. I love the proof finish on the Hecla Mining round.
The Hecla rounds are so nice- I'll put them in an album I think

I have not seen the rounds your talking about either, very neat. It's truly amazing how many silver rounds are out there, many, many types.
Cool stuff. Great video. That hecla mining was stunning.
Stunning rounds indeed and glad to have them. I'll place those in an album I just picked up! Thank you for watching!

Awesome vintage rounds my friend.
Good to see you CCT!
Pretty cool. Thanks again for another fun video
Thank you for watching!
You put away some very nice rounds! Yeah just stretch the black ring around it before it goes in the capsule. Great video! Thanks!
I didn't even think about stretching the ring over the round in the video and there is room for that, the round would fit!
@ lol don’t feel bad I didn’t either.
Nice silver rounds. 👍 I hope you’re doing well. Have a great day.
Hello sir! All is well here and I hope it's the same for you! I'll head over to your channel and catch up- behind in my viewing.
Awesome additions

Is alright with me👍🏻
Keep stacking up the vintage!
Awesome progress report!! Love the Hecla rounds! I’ve got one as well. It’s a face reveal demon. Gotta be careful 😬
Yup! You may have seen I had a blurred part of the video- big time face reveal, lol!
Love it!

After this box, I have another album to work with👍👍
Nice! Collection management 👍
What is that box size/type?
The SOA rounds are one of my faves!!! Fantastic additions!!
The box is an extra large 781641 and the capsules are the 39MM ones. Thanks for watching sir!
Nice And Shiny Silver! Hopefully You didn't get to much 🌨️

@SilverStruck Same here I'm close to the Coast, mostly wet except this one gave a little snow. Just enough to be a Mess 🤣
