Might work better to build it as a horizontal desktop PC than a vertical tower, but for now it remains a dream to do that much detail, maybe it's closer to reality now though lol.
Can we take a moment to just appreciate the paint job? It just looks so good!!!
Can it be called a sleeper if there are RGB fans under the desk, showing you that there's more than what meets the eye to it?
I mean you can always turn them off right?
A third leg.
@@Asatora its not a sleeper when a supercharger block is coming out of the bonnet
You can hide NOS bottles and I've seen turbos mounted UNDER the car, so hide the fans and it's nighty-night.
I wouldn't think so myself 🤷♂️ no...
Linus: "Oh yeah, this is sponsored by Seasonic, they make great power supplies"... "this particular one has a 12 year warranty. It could last longer than your car."
Nobody: Hmm... sleeper PC built in a car.
LTT Writers: "Hey Linus, we have a terrible PC Build idea."
RGB underglow from the PC?
yes
Well
21:19 Linus is right! It looks way too good for a Sleeper PC! It looks like it's very powerful at the first glance! Not sleepy at all! Awesome project though!
they should have weathered the exterior ... so it doesn't look as shiny and new :D
(maybe next time?)
@@NotTheStinkyCheese That's an idea. They can still make some scratches and stuff.
I’m glad the Bunta reference was exactly what I was thinking.
This is such a great duo! Compliment each other’s personality and style in such a funny way.
always love the sleeper builds! the Initial D theme is also much appreciated!
DORIIIFFTOOOOOO!!!
It says LTT Store dot com at the side
Alphacool: Let’s send LTT some fun extra stuff with their order! We love those guys!
LTT: What is all this shit, we didn’t ask for this
Wouldn't be surprised if that is a troll from ACs side.
Loving the edits on this video. Linus is fodder for perfectly timed cuts.
I love watching Linus plead with people he hired, at the company he owns, to get his way... and still not get his way.
I think linus mention that he had to pull the boss card twice, I wanted to see that.
Give that 3090 a medal 🏅 ! Its a survivor after all the abuse. Dont be surprised if manufacturers label em as "ltt proof" in the future.
*LTT Resistant, i really dont think theres such a thing as LTT proof :D
But does that mean it's Linus proof?
When have ever the manufacturers stayed true to their marketing? 😆
Of course not Linus proof..
Honestly, that kinda seems like the thing Nvidia would do lol.
@Глеб Сальманов this should be a thing! By those standards, Nokia 3310 is a LP8
Alex's reaction to "water cooling enema" is perfect. Going from "wait, what?" to realizing what Linus meant to "uncontrollable laughter"
Can never to be careful at Linus Tech Tips! I don't blame him!
Great video. The anime-y acting bits were a really nice touch!
The new intro change is actually nice, I don’t want the animation to go away but I did often find myself skipping it, seems like a good 2 second alternative
absolutely loving the Initial D theme! Outstanding job on the build guys :)
I'm a simple man. I see sleeper PC, I like.
Fancy seeing you here- been loving your videos recently, too!
YOOO nicholas' voice is AMAZING wth. that dude SHOULD do some voice over or podcast or something. him an anthony talking about tech stuff would be the best asmr there ever was
This looks amazing, I agree with linus that it doesn't have that sleeper vibe since its too cool but it definitely retro. I want it
man I always wanted to do an Initial-D themed PC.....this video was fantastic, awesome job guys
It's such a sleeper that it looks like an Alienware on the outside.
OK, I freaking love this video. Perfect reference to Initial D. And Bunta as a backgrounds is just perfect.
Legitimately the best PC you guys have ever built. This is beautiful. Love the Initial D theming.
20:56 my favorite part is Anthony's version of how they always talk on initial D!
I think it was just cheaper to use backstock fill bottles than normal infill for the packaging.
Funny either way lol
an an Initial D fan, this build makes me really happy
Sleeper PC series are some of the best content you guys put out, amazing video. Alex & Nick did an insanely good job 👍
Sleeper PC's are probably my favourite style of PC build. Working on a little something myself atm... Dont mean to flex but the entire rear panel is custom CNC.
It’s been a while since we got a sleeper PC, especially one as unorthodox is this where the radiator is under the table. But hey, I’m all here for.
Anyone else remember the Initial D arcade game, where you'd get your own custom ID card that saved all of your game/car data?
Back then, an arcade game that gave you an ID card for game data was badass and new.
Yeah i grow up playing arcade stage in my local mall but it can't accept cards now because someone throw a water on the reader so i play on pc or play wangan midnight.
@@MTech-ss9yo Yeah... kids...
Back in the mid 90s to early 2000's, we all hung out at "too much is not enough" in NYC (The club was featured in the movie Hackers.) It was like an arcade meets skate park meets bowling alley style cafe.
I touched my first boobs there!!! Hahaha
I had a mini wallet to hold my cards for Initial D/Maximum Tune/Tekken 5 😂.
Good times!
Put a lot of coins in at South Hills Golfland back in the day. Sometimes the line of tokens on the fighting games was so long you knew you could get in a couple races before you were up.
@@MrTotenks lol
love alex and love the editor! so well done both of you
6:39 All that precise equipment, super shiny backplate, 2 shitty uncentered holes.
Your team does amazing work, I have to say, you must be real proud to have put together such a great team. Alex, Anthony, and Luke are definitely your like minds. Linus, keep up the great work
Got excited when I saw the thumbnail. Said out loud," IS THAT AN INITIAL D PC?". Although it raises the question.... How many people at LTT have actually watched the legendary anime known as Initial D?
The Initial D impressions at 20:49 were so perfect omg
And Anthony is a perfect fit for Ryosuke Takahashi lmao
his impression's too perfect
The case looks waaay to cool to be a legit sleeper, but what an awesome build!
Yeah OEM stuff like the Dell G5 looks more sleeper than this. Love the final build though
This is by far my favorite build you guys have ever done.
That so called "sleeper" looks awesome!! I would literally give an appendage to own such a beast 👍❤️
Do it.
I'm genuinely amazed how quickly optical drives have gone the way of the floppy disk.
i never used them, USB i can do, but just never needed...
I still use one, mainly for ripping CDs (for those who remember).
@@burgertim7878 I also have a Bluray drive for ripping CDs (WAV ftw), but I use an external USB drive, which makes much more sense then wasting case space.
with hundred plus gigabyte flash drives and terabyte sized hard drives and ssds being so cheap nowadays, there's really no use for them anymore
@@fafiteee optical drives? Ripping your own CDs/DVDs cause Spotify region locking sucks (and I can't just VPN cause it's locked to payment method).
You know what would be cool, if there was a racing game where the acceleration was linked to frame rate and that became a fun benchmark builders ran to see who could get the best lap time
I mean we had that one NFS once that locked its frame rate at 30 and ran double the speed when people pushed it to 60
23:18 To paraphrase Hank, “it feels like someone without a fever is yelling at my pant.”
i was actually into Linus' idea to use the square monitor and "stealth" keyboard.
I love how Linus just knows the talking points without knowing who the sponsor was first. It's almost like they're a good sponsor or something lol
Yeah, definitely not quite a sleeper if my first reaction is "What? Sony is making new Vaio computers?"
Looks super cool though.
Tbf, that Vaio case just looks too modern for its time that it doesn't look quite sleeper PC. Most sleepers PC case tend to have aesthetic that only reflects their era that is too dated to look it now. Thus Vaio case is so nice that seems timeless.
this is a great sleeper, amazing work. Also Anthony's Cameo made that bit
Never thought I would say this but Linus is right. The 1:1 monitor and model M would of been superb with this build. Either way, I think the is a cracking build.
It would have been a very fitting setup.
Pour one out for the old LTT intro song.
Goodnight, sweet prince 🕯
Bro it’s just for the Initial D reference chill
@@orcastrike7750 They are phasing out the old intro song. Said so on WAN Show
I'm still learning Japanese and my Katakana is a little rusty, but that edging on the panel is pretty funny ☺️ (Should have expected that by now)
Well, they always fit it in every video
Expected, but still made me chuckle
That is about the coolest sleeper concept result ive ever seen, Alex you ROCK-!! The paint scheme LOOKS FANTASTIC-!
Miss the old intro, but I’m glad we still get the little blurbs. I make sure to never miss them on any video. 👍🏽
Yesss, a sleeper intro 💀
I remember really liking the design of those cases despite the airflow and this really makes me want to do something similar lol..
Maybe someday as a side project
Linus, Alex, and whomever need to reads this, please more sleeper builds! That you did an Initial D inspired one and playing Forza it's just amazing, well done everyone!
Would have loved if Linus drifted an AE86 instead of a GT86, but hey. Won't complain.
Retro VAIO cases have always been my favorite when it came to sleeper battlestations.
I'm not sure it's exactly a sleeper. I'd be awake with that many fans going.
