Some good improvement here! I haven't watched every video yet, but I remember seeing your earlier tries and there's a WORLD of difference in that short timespan. It's also obvious that you're having more fun now, which is normal when you start understanding your car better. All in all, keep at it! Can't wait to see there you are in a year!
Thanks alot, that means alot :D I went to the point where I felt like I have no improvements at all, but thats just about learning curve! I'm still expanding my knowledge on drifting and still learning different techniques! But yes I used to drive to learn how to drift, but now I'm more passionate and try my best to keep it as a career path one day too :D
@realTakumifujiwara Thing about a plateau, usually it's just about finding another angle to tackle the same practice. Try something fresh but related. You'll improve even further
A tip is to reduce the screen shake, just use a normal neckfx, tha shakiness might make it hard for you to go faster. Also place a presset time and aim for it like 5 mins, try to match that time, you must not go faster or slower. Write down what you think makes you faster, and what makes you slower. What ive told you is one of the many ways to learn how to drive fast. That is because you gather information and improve your control over the car.
Starter tip: Try to avoid dropping your wheels above the gutter, it makes car unbalanced and slows while existing and also try not to drift for the first time focus only on racing line and keeping car balanced.
thank u, yes I think gutter makes u slightly faster but I keep hitting the curbs because idk, feels very diff than driving an IRL car where i can judge the distance of my car and the curb.. in games, its difficult ;-; yes the run is just line racing, theres no drift there ;-;
have you ever tried the gear drift initiation? Its like, you brake harder, then loose to 10% brake or less turn in and down a gear without punta taco. I'm trying this in almost all turns and droped about 3 secs, dont forget to try to "power slide" like gucciwara, straight wheel and control drift on throtle. This initiation is making my exit corner very fast because i dont have to use hand brake and get a softer initiation.
You seem to have the course down really well because you dont seem to hesitate, all the issues im seeing are just some common mistakes that just requires some practice. I think adding a small amount of toe out on the fronts could help in making the steering and the car a bit more responsive on some corners. It might also make the car a bit more unstable so i cant really tell if itll actually help.
@realTakumifujiwara im not entirely sure how to explain it, but imagine youre looking at the top of the tyre where the tread is, with toe in it angles both tyres inwards so you basically steer the tyres towards each other a little bit. Most roadcars have a little toe in because it generally makes the car a bit more stable in a straight line, toe out does the opposite, it steers both tyres away from esch other, it can make the car a bit more unstable at high speed in a straight line but it also makes the car turn in easier which i think would help a lot on these narrow roads that change direction a lot, there might be a little learning curve because the car will tend to oversteer a bit more easily because the car changes direction more easily. Hope that made any sense :D
@@unlimitedquickworks7387 that depends entirely on the driver and what they think is good or not (to a certain extent obviously). I dont really play assetto corsa so i have no idea how each car is set up, but i would probably run 1 or 2 degrees of toe out in beamng on akina, i play on a controller too so its a lot easer for me to just fling the car around.
@@banned3480 no problem! No i dont use handbrake at all :) i just use brake and throttle. Both the timeline, those werent drifts, those were fails, those were understeer! I went too fast and brake too hard while trying to steer, causing the car to understeer !
if by default, theres a setting called lap times and it will appear under your screen.. Mine is a modded of initial D time lap layout so it appears on the top left like the arcade game :D

How i use ghost?😢. I want to improve too!
@@GGojira1954 heyy man, its a mod called virtual steward! You can download via racedepartment :)
I'm a beginner so bear with me
did you use handbrake here? 1:23
also whenever i take corners
it goes just like this 1:14 bumping my car on rails

all you need to do is to mash the pedal and counter steer and you got it you have to find a balance in the inertia of your car though

you see how your ghost gassed it to cause the car to oversteer thats what your missing

No mods, just neckfx settings! check out some youtube guide for "Assetto Corsa neckfx for drifting" :D
