I am 75 and my doctors tell me I look 45. I shaved my face since age 15. Began shaving my neck since watching YOUR videos! I only began using sunscreen 30 at age 62 when I moved to Singapore. Then six years ago I moved to Thailand and stopped using sunscreens until two weeks ago due to your channel! I am olive tone skin that is oily still but never had a pimple because I wash my face using baking soda! I know... but it does not dry out MY skin. I began using The Ordinary hyaluronic acid two years ago and it plumps my nasolabial lines, i added vit C and niacinamide recently due to you! I just added The Ordinary retinoid 2%. Now, also due to you, I will add a bioidentical estrogen to help with collagen. I eat a tsp of bovine gelatin in my oatmeal with goji berries daily. My nails are strong. I have no jowls YET! Maybe it is my exercise routine with heavy weights, circuit training, and cardio EVERY DAY for more than 40 years. I am 153cm and 41 kg. That is about 5' tall and 91 lbs. I was on HRT from 50-67 and now regret stopping because within six months of stopping, my arms and legs' skin became crepey. I am considering going back on Prempro or similar med. You are a gift to all of us! Thank you!
Absolutely correct on testing. As a nurse working at an integrative medicine office where we focus on hormomes, we check the following for all...this is a comprehensive and thorough list--- for thyroid: TSH, free T4, free T3, reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies. Estrogen, progesterone and free and total testosterone. DHEA, Cortisol, and high sensitivity C-reactive protein. Prostate specific antigen for men. A1c, fasting insulin, and complete metabolic panel. Complete blood count. Fasting lipid panel. Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, and Magnesium. FSH, LH, and Prolactin. We do add other things as needed...rheumatoid factors, food sensitivity testing, candida...tons more but the list above is our standard for all our patients.
Also...we also recommend as you mentioned collagen powder, our vit d3 with k2, methylated vitamins, and we only recommend bio identical hormones =) amazing video you know your stuff
@thehealthinsight4587 I would look into checking your testosterone because DHEA is a precursor to making testosterone. If your DHEA is high, it's possible your testosterone is on the higher end as well. Hair loss can be So many things. Stress truly can cause it. Also illness. Typically, if you were ill a few months prior to new severe hair loss, it could have been from the illness. Hypothyroid is also a big cause of hair loss or hair thinning. Hormone deficiencies in estrogen or progesterone as well. The hair cycle consists of resting and shedding phases. Sometimes people go thru a shedding phase that consists of a good chunk of their hair and mistake that for hair loss. Hope these tid bits help.

I also use a mixture of hyaluronic acid and small amount of estrogen twice a week on areas of my cheeks that are thickened, dry, and don’t slough as they should. So it’s not instant gratification like fillers but lasts a lot longer & looks very natural since it’s YOUR collagen producing the results. It’s been FDA approved since 2009 & has MANY happy users. 😊 I’ll probably get a vial every 2-3 years. Right now have had 2 vials but sure I’ll need at least 3 if not 4 initially which would be injected in next 3 mos. (I think) depending on what my injector decides is best.
Had a baby at 38, and 2 years later, at almost 40, I am finally barely starting to get REM sleep regularly again. She is a contact sleeper from day 1 and there was a time I forgot my name and felt "time jumps" in the day because I was so tired. I feel like I aged 10 years in 2 without sleep. Hopefully I can reverse the damage in the comimg few years with good sleep. 😅 Thanks Dr Rajani!!
Thanks for the great advice. The hormone test is really important at 40. I was having dry mouth for awhile, my dentist told me it could be a hormonal imbalance and it was.
Anyone know how you get a hormone test in the uk? Recently had full bloods done but nurse said they don’t test for peri/menopause because they assume over 40s are in it anyway lol
Hah, my dentist just told me to chew gum or get these special theramints to mask the dry mouth. No route cause analysis. Just cover the symptoms and go away.
“At 65 you’re almost dead.”😳60 yo me watching this after a fitness class + 3 mile hike and 50-hr work week. Blessed with good genetics, I look 45…but highly recommended HRT for those who can tolerate it. Life changing. And don’t smoke!🙏🏼
‘’At 65 your almost dead” cracked me up but it’s so true about the DEXa scan. 65 is at least 15 years past any possibility of preventing bone loss. It’s ridiculous. DEXa scan is only about $100 so ladies, buy it yourself at 50. If you are losing bone then take the results to your doctor and insurance will have to pay for hormone replacement therapy. After they refer you to an endocrinologist…..
I'm turning 41 August, and I get told I look much younger. Thanx to skincare, supplements, good sleep/rest, good nutrition, exercise, and a kind heart ❤️☺️ I'm surprised you didn't mention Red Light Therapy Dr. Rajani. Thank you for such an informative video💓
People who go around bragging about having a "kind heart" are usually the most passive aggressive and/or mean people. Being kind has nothing to do with physical appearance and sure being kind in general is nice to strive towards but absolutely nobody on earth can be have a 100% kind heart.
I have always taken good care of my skin, every weekend, egg yoke, cream of wheat and vitamin e for face mask, ageing was not a concern at 40. I do credit my good Genes as well
"Consistant" has made all the difference. I stopped botox, after 15 years, its no longer needed because of my, now, consistant care, using your guidance. Thank you, is not enough!
Aren't you a lovely man, giving all this advice for free. I live in Australia, and I stay out of the sun, I'm 61, and ppl say I look 55. Stay out of the hot sun. Thank you for the video 🦘🐨
People always made fun of me for doing so much preventative stuff to my skin back in my 20s but I am now 43 and when I say my age the first thing people do is literally laugh because they think it's a joke. When they realize there is no joking they don't even really know what else to say.
If that’s you in your photo, you look great. On the other hand, I’ve done _nothing_ to prevent aging in my face, I’m 31 and bartenders are still suspicious AF when I walk in, even after I hand over my ID lol
It’s not about number it’s about whether u went through menopause or not yet. 43 is nothing these days. Wait until you go through menopause. That’s when things change not before
Thanks doc. Genetics also plays great role. M 38 mother of two but no one believes I have children. They guess my age between 25-30… it’s a blessing to me..
I have started taking MK-7 following Dr. Ranjani's advice in one of his videos. I was resigned to the facial bone loss, and I never thought there might be ways to slow it down before I watched his videos. I learned another great idea from this video: Sculptra on the upper face can slow the sagging! That's brilliant! Being 44 and passing as someone in her 20s made the idea of fillers less appealing to me. But now I am thinking of getting preventive Sculptra. Thank you so much for this video!
Fillers in the lip makes the face look older to me. It draws more attention to the fact that you are fighting getting older. It's like a woman wearing glittery eyeshadow. It emphasizes lines.
@@lisacup6876 I do 1 ml in my lips once in 2-3 years. It looks very natural and Noone can say that I have a filler. Because I don't create any additional volume. I just substitute the lost volume. Also who is doing it is veeery important
I just did 1 ml overall of HA filler called Neauvia intense #28 with very "firm" structure into my cheeks. I am overwhelmed with the lifting result. But I found a good doctor. And he did the same brand but #26 - 0.4ml into my lips ("Russian lips" technique). The other 0.6ml he redistributed in nasolabial and chin. Could be a good upgrade for 40+ ppl in my opinion, but obviously each one decides for themselves
Excellent information. I agree with everything except the 30 SPF. Those of us with lighter skin in my opinion need 50 spf. I also take NAC which supposedly helps with photo damage from sun. I guess the only way to tell is through 3D imaging. I've never had that done but with so much sun in teens i expect the results wouldn't be happy 🙃

Ok, so you’re saying at the age of 64 it’s too late give it up? Absolutely love how you explain things. You're the best!!!
I appreciate that!
Grass fed butter and grass fed beef, healthy!
Thanks for the great advice. The hormone test is really important at 40. I was having dry mouth for awhile, my dentist told me it could be a hormonal imbalance and it was.
How did you fix it ?
Anyone know how you get a hormone test in the uk? Recently had full bloods done but nurse said they don’t test for peri/menopause because they assume over 40s are in it anyway lol
@@kkkkitmy friend paid privately to have hormone tests and to speak to a specialist
Love this!!!! Keep charging
Hey, if you can make it at 65 alive, you did well.
Ya me too, I'm half dead too. Lifting weights, Restoring my car, and other things half dead women usually do....lol jk
Whats hrt
I'm turning 41 August, and I get told I look much younger. Thanx to skincare, supplements, good sleep/rest, good nutrition, exercise, and a kind heart ❤️☺️ I'm surprised you didn't mention Red Light Therapy Dr. Rajani. Thank you for such an informative video💓
Kind heart👍
I like red light therapy but I also do no want to overwhelm everyone
We loive in 21 centiry its easy now
What supplement you take and what skincare?
People who go around bragging about having a "kind heart" are usually the most passive aggressive and/or mean people. Being kind has nothing to do with physical appearance and sure being kind in general is nice to strive towards but absolutely nobody on earth can be have a 100% kind heart.
I have always taken good care of my skin, every weekend, egg yoke, cream of wheat and vitamin e for face mask, ageing was not a concern at 40. I do credit my good Genes as well
You are just AMAZING!!!! Thanks for your great videos and advise !!
You are so welcome!
Ultrasound to stimulate collagen and silica!
"Consistant" has made all the difference. I stopped botox, after 15 years, its no longer needed because of my, now, consistant care, using your guidance. Thank you, is not enough!
You extremely helpful.and amazingly unselfish to genuinely be of service for so many people. Thank you for everything! ♥
Happy to help
Aren't you a lovely man, giving all this advice for free. I live in Australia, and I stay out of the sun, I'm 61, and ppl say I look 55. Stay out of the hot sun. Thank you for the video 🦘🐨
🙏🏻🙏🏻✨️
So many great tips. I'm bookmarking this video
Glad it was helpful!
You just spilled your heart out today,i feel guilty of reading so much information for free.,its very rare.cheers doc.
You're very welcome
People always made fun of me for doing so much preventative stuff to my skin back in my 20s but I am now 43 and when I say my age the first thing people do is literally laugh because they think it's a joke. When they realize there is no joking they don't even really know what else to say.
Have you tried co2 lazer treatment?
My doctor recommend me 3 session microneedling and after co2 laser..What you think?
If that’s you in your photo, you look great. On the other hand, I’ve done _nothing_ to prevent aging in my face, I’m 31 and bartenders are still suspicious AF when I walk in, even after I hand over my ID lol
It’s not about number it’s about whether u went through menopause or not yet. 43 is nothing these days. Wait until you go through menopause. That’s when things change not before
You must be a very modest person and not self absorbed at all
Im in the preventative plan, bought these. Thank you!
Also HA filler 1 ml into lips if volume lose - once in a couple of years
Fillers in the lip makes the face look older to me.
What is MK-7? I can't find it on his site. Thanks.
How often and at what dose do you take nac?
Thank you for your precious advice, Dr. Rajani, you are truly a great Doctor and friend for all women! ❤
And yes you are right how such powerful, rich nations, can't take care of their citizens.
Great advice! You are an honorable doctor for shedding light on these tests and why they are important
Wow! What a great video! Such grat info! Thank you
Glad it was helpful! You are most welcome
I just found out I’m low in vitamin D and high in iron. Tests are important

Thank you for your advice. From Stuart in England. 66 in October. God bless
Dr. Rajani, I really appreciate the fact that you cover overall health. A true doctor. Thanks.
Unfortunately, like all TH-cam plastic surgeons, he is trying to sell his own product! There’s your heath recommendation!
@@catherinekoja187 Dr. Rajani offers free tips and you have free will to buy or not to buy. I am not able to purchase his services or his products but I get great value from the information he freely provides.
@@catherinekoja187 He is offering the information freely and rightfully providing a pre-formulated option for many people who can and would prefer to purchase (rather than mix and match). Why is that unfortunate? Its more unfortunate that you choose to be critical and negative after watching an entirely FREE video!
I offer you exactly what I offer my patients. Take it or leave it. No pressure to buy anything. I put a lot of time and effort into providing the best as that is what I want on my body and skin and for my patients. All of the information here is free. Thank you for informative videos Dr. Rajani! Can you make a video with your recommendations for some of us in our 50’s? Thank you.

Great information, great channel!
Much appreciated!
So much great info! I have been on .25 mg of melatonin befor bed for over a year now just to take the edge off and shut my brain down to get a good night sleep early!
Did you try magnesium supplements to make sure your edge isn't from low magnesium?
25 mg? Or you mean 2.5 mg?
This is too much help , I'm just going to get a clinic to do all this
Vitality blend on its way to mooooiiiiiii!!!! Thank you 🙏 ❤

I adore Dr Raj❤Great philosophy 👏👏👏
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great information. I am happy that I already have implemented a lot of your recommendations. Thankful my Doctor is recommending a baseline bone scan now at the age of 45. At 65 "the horse is out of the gate".
Glad it was helpful!
THANK YOU , as always for being so well informed from your extensive research. NOW, do you know anyone you feel comfortable referring for the same work you do? I have asked many times via TH-cam and calls to your office and I always have the answer, NO! Thank you in advance. I live in Texas and Acapulco Mexico but I will travel for help. All of my doctors are in CA!!!!! Have a blessed day and week.

Ok, so you’re saying at the age of 64 it’s too late give it up? I’ve been on retin-a since I was 30 but had to stop because insurances found out it wasn’t just for acne, but discovered it slows down aging. I have been proactive about keeping my skin from aging. I only have very very fine lines at my eyes and a very small 11 between my eyebrows. Pretty much everything you’ve talked about I’ve been using for 34 years. I also think that you should start anti-aging prevention in your 20s. Thank you for keeping us all very informed about our skin. I really enjoy watching your channel.
There is no chronological age. Skin age is best. Some at 60 look 50...or 40. But I use age in my videos as it's most understandable for people
Great video, looking good is the result of a good health, I like Dr. Rajani approach because he takes into account many aspects and not only beauty treatments and devices
I clean my face every night, I do sleep with dogs, I use red light therapy, I use retinol, I use sunscreen, i physically do all the rest you mentioned and I am 76. I started really really working on my skin when i turned 60. At 40 there was no way I could afford anything I'm doing now. I quit smoking. And take supplements and I get all the tests. I had a calcium scan and my dr. Though I was crazy. I had bone tests since my 40s and have osteoporosis, I joined osteoporosis, since I won't take meds. I'm surprised you talked about being at your 70s and almost dead
Thank you for the great information!!
Glad it was helpful!
I really appreciate how dr. Anil keeps cost in mind . It comes across as humple , caring normal individual. You are very blessed where he is there,
It's my pleasure

Thanks @drpurvipatelmd. I very much appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. It helps all of us learn.
Great video. I just want to add my personal experience with 8years of SSRI. After I quit it, i have been insomnia and IBS and alot of other aide effects from it. So you are definitely right on that one. It should only be used as an last solution for a short period of time if really really necessary 😊
Btw the side effects I'm mentioning has lasted 1 decade so far.
I so appreciate your sharing and so sorry you are experiencing this
THANKS DOC! 😃
