The irony, in my opinion, Reese created the racial undertone. If she had just played the game and let it be I don't think this situation would have become this bad. For me personally, I'm a basketball fan. Never watched the WNBA. I heard a couple of years ago about CC in the news. I think it was 60 minutes or something. The reason why I watch CC, is she was the best college player during her stint. Broke a lot of NCAA records, and had more appeal even against men's college basketball. She is box office and people like the way she plays. If you compare NCAA and WNBA attendance. There is no question that it's because of CC. Reese wanted publicity for herself that's why she hitched her wagon to CC. Why are you all hating, when people say they watch the WNBA coz of CC? It's the damn truth. Definitely in agreement with active players not having podcast during the season. It would also the having better thoughts after the fact than. Saying something dumb in the heat of the moment is crucial. You can do an interview to clear up something on a podcast, but to talk and talk so much you find out about a lot of people. I'm a big WNBA fan. I'm not a fan of any player which gives me a unique perspective on what I see because it's purely basketball. Fanatics are good for the business side of thebsport because Fanatics buy tickets and merchandise to see their favorite player but catering to Fanatics will ruin the purity of the game itself over time. For example, Clark Fanatics can't enjoy or endure a wnba game unless Caitlin is playing in it and playing well. So if she doesn't play well they find people to Blane rather it's her teammates, her coach, her opponents or the entire league. Then they start to say things like turnovers are not bad and rebounds are not good and tye rules need to change so Caitlin can cook and before you know it the league is just as fake and watered down as the NBA is right now and they start getting bronze medals at the Olympics and the foreign players will start to say "it's easier to score in the wnba than it is overseas."

That not only shows me no respect for th game and any moral obligation as a coach, franchise or the league is outrageous. Do we want this beautiful game to revert back to the 80's and 90's of the NBA, where brawling and fisticuffs ruled, until Ron Artest decided to involve fans? I don't care about the physicality within the rules, pushing, shoving. That's when you can be called for a foul. But the tackling, elbowing, unrestrained run at a player, from the side, sending them flying through the air, and then do an ' oh, i didn't mean that " and try to help them up, after you fouled them twice before and in bound pass can be tried, that speaks to intent. Miss Kennedy and her taking a shot at former teammate Mabury the first game playing against each other, and she also had hands to the face with another WNBA star shortly after that. Hmmm. Interesting how much of this is involving the same team and certain players. I could go on some other points, but to summarize, the LEAGUE leadership is weak, and has allowed too much already. That has sent a signal to some that might want to add just a little extra. Than to blame it all on Clark and her fans. And because Caitlin is always the BEST spokesperson at promoting the sport, the league, even her talented rivals, never saying a cross word, we address what she will not. if theynwant to make the league better, to grow it, to have long awaited financial opportunities for the players, and to be where more of the public not only enjoy Caitlin. but the rest of the team and players, than they need to get serious to upgrade the product in these areas.

The reason why I watch CC, is she was the best college player during her stint. Broke a lot of NCAA records, and had more appeal even against men's college basketball. She is box office and people like the way she plays. If you compare NCAA and WNBA attendance. There is no question that it's because of CC. Anyone who breaks records basically has the lion share of shots. You can look at it your way, or you can look at it like she went to a bad school and carried them as far as she can vs. the big prestigious college with great basketball programs. I think she only had 1 other teammate that got drafted. That alone says a lot why she didn't win in college.

Definitely in agreement with active players not having podcast during the season. It would also the having better thoughts after the fact than. Saying something dumb in the heat of the moment is crucial. You can do an interview to clear up something on a podcast, but to talk and talk so much you find out about a lot of people. At the same time you on the internet. You got to take it all or none at all. Being on the internet is fodder for it all.

Playing against 18,19 yr olds in college is different than being in the pros. I'm a big WNBA fan. I'm not a fan of any player which gives me a unique perspective on what I see because it's purely basketball. Fanatics are good for the business side of thebsport because Fanatics buy tickets and merchandise to see their favorite player but catering to Fanatics will ruin the purity of the game itself over time. For example, Clark Fanatics can't enjoy or endure a wnba game unless Caitlin is playing in it and playing well. So if she doesn't play well they find people to Blane rather it's her teammates, her coach, her opponents or the entire league. Then they start to say things like turnovers are not bad and rebounds are not good and tye rules need to change so Caitlin can cook and before you know it the league is just as fake and watered down as the NBA is right now and they start getting bronze medals at the Olympics and the foreign players will start to say "it's easier to score in the wnba than it is overseas."

And with Kennedy's history, that the league only assessed a flagrant 1 the next day, is also a joke. All of this talk and excessive actions on the court could have ended there if the league took a firm position and assessed not only a flagrant 2 and suspension,, but there is the additional matter not addressed that has given all inb the league the leeway of maybe doing a litte extra. What i was getting to, Was that I am GREATLY disappointed of Coach Spoon, and her handling of her team. That after one of your players that you coach, I would hope a purist would agree, sees such a blatant disrespect of the game and the concepts of fair play and sportsmanship, that you would NOT ONLY be embarrassed by her action, but that others on the team cheer on in support of her. Miss Kennedy and her taking a shot at former teammate Mabury the first game playing against each other, and she also had hands to the face with another WNBA star shortly after that. Hmmm. That has sent a signal to some that might want to add just a little extra. Than to blame it all on Clark and her fans. And because Caitlin is always the BEST spokesperson at promoting the sport, the league, even her talented rivals, never saying a cross word, we address what she will not. if theynwant to make the league better, to grow it, to have long awaited financial opportunities for the players, and to be where more of the public not only enjoy Caitlin. but the rest of the team and players, than they need to get serious to upgrade the product in these areas.
