When Shaq says he thinks Steph is the best, I think what he’s actually saying is Steph is closest to an old school player who might collect individual accolades, but he knows none of it means anything without winning championships. And I think it bothers Shaq that people don’t celebrate Steph now while he’s still here playing spectacularly, he wants him to get the respect he deserves now, not just when he retires. I also think that even though Steph plays in this era with less defense, he has the mentality and work ethic to be able to play in any era. If you ever watch Steph drive to the basket, he usually ends up dragging two defenders with him who are clawing at him and he scores on a third defender at the rim who swipes down and knocks him out of bounds while he still makes the shot. And he doesn’t get the foul call and he doesn’t expect to. Hard not to respect that just because he’s known as one of the greatest three point shooters of all time.

People forget that when MJ played for the Wizards, he was the President of Basketball Operations. He was not on the roster, he suited up after getting permission from Abe Polen to try and get the team to play better by example. It's a big difference from Lebron being on the actual roster.

Jokic is actually in shape. He lost 50 lbs since he got drafted. He can run, just not the fastest. He runs hard all the time and maximizes his abilities. He plays tons of minutes and doesnt coast like embiid or lebron and others.

He comes up with things like the in season tournament, which is a complete gimmick with multicolored courts and all, he literally legislates defense out of the game to artificially boost the offense, he comes up with the play-in, which further devalues the regular season. David Stern was like a shift cooked with an oven. He made a slow cooked good meal that would make you coming back again and again. Michael Jordan wasn’t drafted to be the face of the NBA. He wasn’t even the top pick in his draft. David Stern leaned into Michael , and the league copied his characteristics and eventually gave us guys like Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant. Now Adam Silver is the fast food restaurant that cooks with a microwave, you might come for a Dorito flavor bun, or some other gimmick now and then - that’s what Bronny is, a social media gimmick - but it won’t keep you coming back - and the NBA ratings show it. The NBA is now for kids who watch highlights and play 2k and gamblers. The NBA abandoned basketball and basketball fans. LeBron is the gimmick they keep trying to repackage and sell but people know it’s a cheap imitation fast food - it’s not the place in town that makes the good stuff and people wait an hour for and keep coming back. Bum Simmons and Ayton would of been out of the NBA - they never would of made it. They just mock the fans as they collect a check. The NBA season is basically pre-season. I have talked to you before and I told you as a teenager my parents had 76ers partial season tickets from 98 -03. The NBA is unrecognizable compared to what I saw back then. The 2001 All-Star game - they had pride. These guys forget that the reason they are famous is basketball and that the reason they get paid is fans.

I agree with you on everything you said but what you said about Ticket TV I thought about it and I was like he could be right because I’ve been watching Ticket for about a good 5-6 years or more and there’s a lot of popular channels that was started because they was on Ticket TV first no matter if they are a LeBron channel that didn’t agree with what he was saying, or a Jordan channel that was inspired by him mostly all the channels that’s out now.
