- This Traxxas Slash tire upgrade is a must have! I've been testing out my 6s brushless 2wd traxxas slash, and so far it's been tough to handle. But after upgrading the wheels + tires, controlling the 6s slash is now easier and it's better with this cheap traxxas slash upgrade. Definitely recommend getting this tire upgrade for your slash or other basher.

I hope the rims hold up for you. I have broken 2 of them. If you don't bash too hard, you might be okay. I enjoy seeing someone do their own thing. 6s power on tap in a stock slash, now that is sending it.

What kind of drive shafts are you using on this build? I keep breaking shafts on my 4s build. The geometry is good they just can’t handle the power of the 8k mah 100c 4s packs. I just got similar tires and they’re awesome!
What I did to hold up my slash body is, I used a spacer and longer screws and it lifted the body up enough to clear the 2.8 trenchers.

It's funny I have these tires and wheels, Used them on a 4s arrma senton, they're great tires, they balloon pretty bad but never blew a bead. I used to be able to do wheelies with those tires and arrma set up running 40mph then full throttle in the grass.
I've seen the other videos and it looks like the motor went in easily. So did it go in easily or did you have to make more holes? I want to do something similar
Went in easily, nothing needed but different mounting screws from original

Did you gear it down? Normally on 4 or 6s they do flat ground backflips and they usually will flip over not even on full throttle
Yeah it’s on stock gearing, which helped to keep it planted but definitely under geared
You're lucky those axles havent snapped, the top pin in the trans, and melted the slipper. Give it time lol
Back body mounts are adjustable and whats the offset of the wheels?
not sure what the offset is, but just eyeballing it it's close to zero offset

Much better than stock and they grip good on grass and dirt. Just needs the gorilla tape trick to keep them from ballooning. You like them too?
@@JacobusRC well I haven’t run my rig yet just cleaned it up jus too get it back dirty lol but I will tomorrow at the beach hopefully...I had some rc station 2.8 mt tires from Amazon on my senton omg love the look of the tires on rig n how it performs but sadly rig got ran ova so did one tire not even 2hrs I had them n that happened so that’s why um trying out different sets
I like the tread on the RC station, looks nice. The ones in the video don’t come pre glued which is another problem

For me my tires always smell like bubblegum when I open them 💀
