"I need him to stop me"
That quote hit pretty hard spoken from a criminal and a psychopath
It pretty much sums up Joker's motivation. He can cause all the chaos he wants, but contrary to his laughter, sick humor, and smiling... none of it would never give him any joy if Batman was never there to stop him. All Joker wants is to die, but it wouldn't do if he died by the hands of anyone other than Batman.
It wouldn't be fun without Batman. What's the point of being a villain or a hero if there's no adversary to overcome?
Think about the batman who laughs
@@dangerouslysafe3 The Injustice Joker was fine dying to Superman, but that may have to do with the fact that the "joke" he set up was meant for Sups anyways.
@@neillanrose5775 The one Joker hates.
The most ridiculous thing in this comic is the ridiculous amount of bullets Joker had in his revolver WITHOUT RELODING!
It's a fuking comic it's not always going to be accuratly written with the type of gun the bad guy uses. I think it's just iconic to see Joker with a simple revolver rather then something more modern like a glock or other pistol.
@@TheZamaron speaking of accurately written...
He also had some bullets in his right pocket, back left pocket, inner pocket, and in the joker pocket

There is a comic where batman is in position to kill the Joker but lets him go and Alfred comes up to Bruce and discusses how the city of Gotham changes everyone that even Bruce is not a sane man and that the reason, he always lets them live is so he can keep being Batman. Seeing Catwoman laugh like that reminds me of that scene
Yep, City of Gotham is insane. Well, leave you insane. or both.

The weirdest part is Batman letting joker kill everyone at the wedding

@@BlazingOwnagerthey’re just extras. Nobodies. Batman only freaks out if it’s someone important.
Which is proof he’s just as crazy as the joker.

@@natman2939how...? That's actually way more normal of him. Reacting way equally to a complete stranger dying as to a friend would be the way crazier behaviour.

Batman let the joker kill an entire wedding's worth of people, and when he says he'll shoot himself he just... COMPLIES?!
Well you gotta admit it was kinda funny
I don't think you're supposed to take any of this seriously
It’s actually the governments fault all the people joker has killed and they still never gave him the death sentence. Batman is just doing his job as a good honest vigilante even if he did kill the joker the government would find a way to get him on a murder charge. All the villains that go around killing and causing chaos is the government of Gotham and frankly the country’s fault because they don’t give them the death sentence I don’t think Batman would have a problem if the government legally authorized the death sentence on them. He became Batman because he saw that law wasn’t doing anything to stop criminals. And also because his parents were murdered but. Mostly i think because he saw the law wasn’t doing shit to stop them.
I mean he can massacre million people, and he still tries to throw him in Gotham.
Not too mention what he did to Barbra, Jason, and a Tim.
It's a wonder that Gotham or the US Gov hasn't just decided to execute him.
yeah I get batmans code but its garbage.
This was a weird one.

Oracle in batman's ears be like: Hold up, let him cook
And batman followed along
This is the only acceptable explanation for this comic.
For everyone who say that Batman does not support the Joker well, here it is.
imagine supporting a mass murderer immediately after he just killed a bunch of people in front of you. LOL something is wrong.
That's what I love about Batman, even though he SHOULD kill or let the Joker die as at this point the blood of those killed by Joker is also on Batman's hands for not just ending him, Batman doesn't do the easy practical thing. Its not logical but I admire him standing by this principle to never kill. When we get looks into Batman's mind he is broken, he is dealing mentally with all this guilt, but he stands by his principles. Of al Batman's villains Joker is the worst, all the others ussually have some reason to their madness, but Joker purposly let's himself go insane, because he knows it hurts Batman seeing all these people getting killed and not willing to kill Joker himself.
@@TheZamaron Yeah, suuuuure, he is an idiot.
@@TheZamaronthat’s something I hate about the character. Batman isn’t a hero here, he’s just the jokers enemy.
@@SuperRONDALEthe reason batman never kills is cause he knows once he starts he won't stop. In an alternative universe he turns into the batman who laughs. Him killing joker has larger repercussions for innocents. If the authorities just chose to execute joker it would work out for everyone. Batman wouldn't stand in the way of legal execution

Tom King is a real human
British Joker isn’t real, British Joker can’t hurt you.
British Joker:
He ain't British see no knife only a gun
Why are you sayign British Joker? He's just using Joker's classic Mark Hamill voice.
To be fair, Joker has always had a weird accent that borders on sounding British.
I’m surprised nobody here mentioned it sounds almost exactly like Richard Epcar’s injustice Joker.
1:40 ok, so would it be murder if Batman moved forward an inch? I would’ve started dancing if I was Batman

Well, batman didn't kill the joker or anything after he killed jason todd which was pretty much batman's son so bats not caring about people dying is not something new apparently

@@eway44 I only watched batman under the red hood for that matter and in the movie bats didn't wanna kill the joker because of the no kill rule. So superman stopped him in the comics? Well that's better than what we got in the animated film.
Pretty sure Batman would call Joker's bluff on killing himself.
You really think it's a bluff?? It's the JOKER we're talking about. If Batman moves an inch, he essentially killed the Joker and lost the moral battle, which is what the clown wants.
@brunowillich1837 Exactly. Batman would be fine if Joker killed himself. Batman wins, it's an empty threat.
Man, everyone was screwed up in that version.
I'm convinced Batman is just as bad as a Joker 🃏.
He kills a whole wedding of ppl, not counting past kills, and then Joker threatens to take himself out and plays along with Joker.
Batman lets Joker take so many lives and families

As they often do.

Same question why?
You know the batman who laughs. So yea same concept here. It's like if you kill the joker you get the same mental disease or something.
Batman was just really a spectator here...
Bro killed a dozen ppl and Batman still thinks he needs help
If Batman is really this fixed on not killing the Joker, could he at least paralyze him?
Batman could paralyze Joker from the neck down, and he'd still manage to kill countless people.
Just because justice cannot deal with him doesn't mean he should, or that he would. He delivers the Joker back to the justice system all the times he can, expecting a different outcome, to no avail.
Maybe. Just maybe. The Joker isn't the only crazy one in here.

Kind of dumb after certain points tbh even the Joker just multiates and murders everyone he loves, and he still just lets him do it again and again.
This isn’t the Batman I know, the fact he still did what the Joker said after witnessing him kill everyone in the room is so stupid. I’m not a fan of comics and don’t take em seriously but this is too far.
There were plenty of times where the joker stop a multiversal cathasthropie.
Or straight up cure cancer , and save alfred ,or tim or damian etc.
Joker is smth of a constant no one knows why batman is ok with killing luthor but not him or his human allies killing the joker.
But tha decisiin has been productive overall
This is why i didn't read comics. For all the good stories that are out there, there's so many dumb ones that take away all the drama.
Sometimes even a great run can go horribly bad. I love Punisher Max until Ennis leaves, then the quality spirals into the ground and explodes.
I agree this story is terrible
You want to know the worst part? Selina leaves Bruce at the alter after this.
"Joker threatens to kill himself if batman doesn't stop"
Everyone in the vicinity then wakes up from death and start running and pushing Batman to Joker
Joker doesn't like guns but he loves using them
Gotta love how they all act like homies
At this point, the writers are just shipping Batman and Joker and using Batman's trash of a code to keep Joker alive
Batman didn’t have to destroy that beautiful stain glass window
Batman is not that dumb
As ridiculous and unrealistic as this sounds, if joker wasn’t able to kill a single person from that wedding, I would’ve been perfectly fine with this comic
Yeah, especially with how the writers usually have Batman coming in the nick of time to safely rescue everyone. However, the person praying to not be shot couldn't be saved. It's like DC doesn't like churches, or Christians. I feel safe in saying it's a guarantee DC would never portray a Muslim character praying to not be shot, only to be shot.
As for the comic itself, I get so tired of Batman not properly dealing with his worst, and irredeemable villains.
All these dead people and cat woman finally realizes Batman is a joke about crime prevention
Wait...is that true?

Great voice acting as always, but this story was fairly weak. Honestly, I don’t mind the idea of Joker having a sort of obsession with Batman, but there’s a right and wrong way to do it. This was definitely the wrong way.
Could you elaborate ?
@@elcalabozodelandroide2 To put it simply: I hate it when Joker is made WHOLLY dependent on Batman. In my opinion, Joker works best as this nihilistic agent of chaos who views life as one big joke. All his cruelty is driven by a philosophy that there is no meaning or purpose in anything and he's just trying to make people "see the funny side" of it all; that the human race pretends to be civilized and evolved when it's capable of producing monsters like himself.
I think it sucks when writers dumb Joker down to just "wanting to play with Batman." There are stories where Joker just straight up quits being evil because Batman is gone: "Without Batman, crime has no punchline!" Like, it paints the idea that if Batman just died or retired, then the greatest threat to Gotham would simply give up.
I guess my point is that I just really dislike any version of Joker who revolves entirely around Batman to exist. "I need him to stop me" is a really dumb motivation to me.

This is so absurd it feels like DC abridged, and... Honestly? I like it more than the serious stuff. The characters being self-conscious of how many times they've done this and how ridiculous it all feels in retrospect
Tricking the Joker into thinking he killed Batman is probably something he should try more
With how these villains keep on escaping and killing people kind of makes me think does Batman really even care for the citizens of Gotham or is he just posturing.
Amazing gun that is. 6 round chamber, 30 rounds total.
Imagine Superman hears all that with his super hearing
"Jesus, Bruce. No wonder you're mentally sick all the time"
He probably did, Batman's his best friend, so, it's canon that he's always hearing in case Batman asks for help
If only batman allows red hood to get rid of joker
You realize Batman is an egomaniac just like Joker for even thinking someone like him can change, and didn't put him down years ago.
Tom King's run on batman is THE worst run in the character's history. No, crazy 90s costumes is literally not that horrible a thing. This right here is true ass.
Comic heroes aren't allowed to die, they're stuck in time, retelling the same story ad infinitum.
The fact that Batman just let those people die and basically just still let things go as they did, is why I just can’t respect this man
its so scary how self aware joker is that he can't stop and the only person who he trusts to stop him is batman
It's actually a fascinating take on Joker to think of him as a villain who figured out how to win, like, he knows on some fundamental level he can destroy the world and nobody can stop him and yet he chooses to occupy himself with zany theatrics out of some very final sense of guilt or duty to avoid his own horrifying potential. Like the whole reason he does such gruesome things is to make sure somebody is always fulfilling his need to be stopped and punished for what he's capable of.
The part that got me was when joker killed everyone and then said, pray with me, Batman or I will shoot myself, lol WTF is this comic book?😂😂😂

Why the hell would batman care if joker kills himself praying was too much This is shameless Batman doesn't play into joker's mind games For joker himself
This is one of those times where Batman could be rid of the Joker if he does nothing. I mean, Joker puts a gun to his head and threatens to shoot if he moves. I would be hitting the sturdy at that point. And this comic issue is just insanity on paper.
Why didn't Batman just see the bomb in the cross with his detective vision? This is so dumb.
