@@oldaccount_marcel yes, and while i don't have actual receipts to character ages etc., the beyond timeline shows bruce as finally starting to get old and being less capable as a main reason for his retirement(he grabs a gun in the field in a panic because he's struggling to keep up), and shown with grey sideburns, so that would probly be bruce hitting somewhere around 50 years old, and then in the actual events of beyond he's clearly at least 70-80. if we do the rough math: - age 18-21, bruce returns to gotham and begins acting as the batman. - assume a year or two before finding dick grayson at age 12-ish, then around 7 years with grayson as robin before he becomes nightwing, bringing our age to 30-ish. - assume jason is brought on after dick leaves, more to keep up appearances than anything else, and has a short run(before joker takes him out) of about 4 years max, putting us at around 35-40 years for bruce. - it was around 2 years before bruce brought tim on, and tim had another around 5 years of service as robin, bringing us to around 45-50 years old for bruce. - assume Damien is going to be robin for a similar 5-10 year stint, and bruce's age starts to catch up with him around this time, with his multiple near death experiences and dick taking over as batman(during which time this story would occur) serving as evidence bruce isn't able to keep up anymore, causing him to retire sometime during this period, between age 55-60, cutting damien's run short and either forcing him to take up the cowl or to retire as well. this leaves about 20 years between retirement and finding Terry McGuiness, putting bruce at around 80-ish. the timeline would fit, and while it's no explanation for Beyond's major villains, it would perfectly explain the younger anarchic petty crime gang members like Ghoul from The Jokerz gang, etc.
