Oh hey! My Federation Samus alt is there at 6:46 in the Sky Sanctuary Smash clip! Tho this version is a custom colour not made by me. I believe they use a build called AusBuild which has extra costumes they made for it as I only made the one singular costume so the Cadet ZSS mod had a Samus costume for transformation compatibility.
The other Federation Samus colours they made are cool as hell

Hey Zack, this was mentioned in the P+ discord, but you might want to somewhat remake this video or pin a comment or something. In the change to the ledge grab invincibility, you said that you lose invincibility when doing double jumps, but that's actually not the case, you're just timing the hits really late.
The real nerf is that when you do the ledge jump and an aerial afterwards, that is where the invincibility carry-over got removed. As marth, you can still do drop-ledge mid air jump fair and still have invincibilty on it, but not if you do ledge jump fair.
That's fair, tbh I wrote the script the day the update came out, so I might've understood the change wrong.

A lot of the nerfs were really good. Project m gets a lot of complaints for being too easy and part of that is the strong-ish recoveries and some of the easy kill confirms. The nerfs intended to cut back on some of those more obnoxious features while still making the characters good.
Then they nerf Fox for no reason again.
@@justice8718 1. He gets buffed from the stacked knockback no longer applying full hitstun when sliding to the ground like melee (which is a buff for him because he's a fast faller) 2.not for no reason, it's just to allign the hitboxes with the hurboxes more so he has less of a disjoint. For fox, it's the most minor of nerfs, and nothing to really worry about.
I think its good the devs aren’t afraid to nerf characters to prevent power-creep
Yeah but some of these are just weird. For example why does Link's d-air have one point less of damage? What's the point of that? Did Link REALLY need any kind of nerf at all? How about bringing back Fox's one frame of intangibility on shine like he had in Melee? It would almost completely bring full consistency between his Melee and P+ incarnations, but instead his d-air hitbox got nerfed...
I don't want to just complain though because there's a ton of great changes here with the foremost perhaps being the removal of that dumb one-frame physics delay. Thank goodness for that. It'll do a lot for responsiveness.
Honestly pretty irritating that they haven't made the melee characters at least the same as they are in Melee and keep nerfing Wolf...

its supposed to knock opponents downwards so make it a meteor at least like with all the other spike to meteor nerfs

would be nice but the people who play this professionally want less and less changes and for the meta to become as developed as Melee
@@protocetid that's a narrow vision. This game could be one of the best smash games of all time. As more people are getting into PC gaming, the base will grow IF there is continuous support and content. Leaving it as is will be wasted potential to make something great.
@@Mike-sp7zv From my point of view (and I'm sure the P+ pros would agree) it's already the best Smash. From what I have heard it is likely going to get rollback netcode in a few years, so that should convince more people that P+ is king. Don’t get me wrong, I have my own wishlist of fighters and maybe the developers like to dream about newcomers a little too.
Competitive players have criticized the game for not having a developed meta game, and not just Melee players. In my efforts to break into the competitive side of the game, I've learned why this crowd has opinions that are unusual to us casuals. A developed meta is attractive to competitive players because then they know exactly how to handle their character and their opponent’s. Solving the meta is fun sure, but some players don’t like the uncertainty and vagueness that comes with a game that hasn’t been figured out.

the pit change is actually the distance at which arrow pops up. its still active till it goes off stage or collides with something it, u just have to be closer if u want arrow to pop up for arrow up smash confirms.

Not a big fan of the changes but I can still enjoy it. I'm on the fence with changing my main to Ganondorf for this.
Sonic had so many nerfs that only a few got touched upon. Dash attack got nerfed and by proxy his Gatling Dacus combo got gutted past mid percent.
Will there be a new P+ tier list?

Why would they Massacre dedede for this?
This is the first version of P+ I am playing so can't compare it to the previous version. I will say I am having lots of fun with it. Still figuring out which character I will main, but I narrowed it down to Dedede, Marth or Sheik will need to play more with those three to see which one I like the most and want to hone my skills with. The aerial attack removing ledge invincibility is something I didn't know about so that's something I can take with me while learning this game.
Are you playing it on Wii, WiiU, or PC?
Im happy because I main Samus but at the same I pretty much use all the rosters besides olimar, wario and meta knight soooo more sadness than happiness
I have read and reread what Bowser's change was in the patch, since he's my main, but I still don't get it. A well, it was only one thing, and Bowser is still great as ever.
They absolutely neutered Wolf. I won't be playing this patch ever!

They took the first hit off of ganondorf's uptilt. Supposedly he had some sort of shield break with it? But I defy you to find me one clip from any important match where it mattered. It feels like a nerf because someone lost a game they didn't like and went on a crusade to take tools from a C tier because it hurt their feelings personally. I don't understand how people look at most high tiers tools and justify it all by saying "learn to play around it" then look at some middle of the road heavy hitter and say "yeah, can't let this guy have anything, it's too hard to play around this niche shield break scenario."
Naaaaaaah they ruined my favorite ZSS skin, the Justin Bailey, goddamn hahahaha the new one is great, but the old one I liked more

you only lose invincibility if you perform an attack from tourney winner not from what you said, you can still perform aerials with invencibility by just letting go ledge and jumping like falcon knee for example and the timing didn’t change so stop the copium, and for people that are crying about nerfs they were very much needed lol, nerf lucario again btw

This update is really bad in my opinion. Like who the fuck thought that nerfing everyone was a good idea ? Buffing everyone would a way better options.

This will get hate but this update, character buffing/nerfing wise, was atrocious. Didnt buff characters that need it and nerfed characters too much.
Fr like they nerfed move that weren't that useful like dk's down b on ground, or knux's vertical recovery. I hope on project plus 3.03 they buff some character that really need it
