The HX One is great! I actually replaced my Julianna with it. Just needed more versatility. It’s hard to justify a ton of different modulation pedals on the board, especially since the sounds aren’t always used. I have it in the RJM looper so I can change where it is in the chain. Great review!
You can actually use the "4 cable method" and run it into the front of the amp and the FX loop simultaneously. Then from the HX one you can set which effects go into the front of your amp and which ones go to the FX loop. So u can get the most out of the time based & modulation effects by running them into the fx loop. And also get the best sound from wah, pitch shift, OD & distortion by running them into the front of the amp. It's all explained clearly in the handy dandy User Manual.
Love all the different fx! Landscape sound was great! Thanks for talking about where to put it in the chain. Cool that it can go with the quad cortex! ❤
THIS is why I kept my H9 when I went to the QC. QC pitch shifting is good but not ver “smart” for doing harmonies.. Also, you kinda forgot trad-pedalboard with a switcher where it can be moved around in the chain per patch.
For sure! I have a traditional pedalboard with a switcher. I’ve had a few different switchers but none that allowed me to change the signal order of loops. That’s a pretty nifty feature if they come with that now!
I am looking for a Freeze pedal and the Line 6 One has that effect but I caanot find a comparison with the EHX freeze. If it is as good as the EHX I would go for the Line 6 since it has much more effects. Do you have a Freeze pedal to compare it? Thanks
Is it just me, or is guitar pedal packaging SO nice now?! What an experience-

Thanks so much! Very cool!! My RJM predates that feature. But that's a pretty sweet way to maximize it if you're a pedalboard guy-
Yeah! It's basically the same way you set it up with the QC@@JustinMuncy!

Boss ES-8 does it. Which is what I was using.😉
I bought one to use with my QC but I couldn’t fit it on my Temple Audio Duo 17 board with my Lehle Expression pedal too. Sadly had to return it.
Oh nooooooo!! Didn’t want to get a bigger board, or a smaller expression pedal?
@@JustinMuncyI might consider it. Just didn’t want to spend extra money at this time. When 3.0 comes out I might revisit it.
I love Starbox!!😂
Starbox is my favorite-

I don’t have a freeze pedal! Sorry!
