I used to work in a hotel in Australia and and i was the only musilm there during the time , they gave me a seperate place to pray and break my fast not only that, they kept on asking me alot ot things so that they can take care of those things, i really respected my whole team for that.

    • @sanjaychauhan1116

33:47 This is wrong, this is the hypocrisy of muslims around the world. Even so called secular muslims dont talk about reforms in Islam, why? If u know that some of the things in ur religion is not good for the society then u should remove it else it will only produce monsters. This behavior of Muslims that when they are in minority they wants secularism but as they become majority they want shariya in a Christian, hindu, Buddhist country. Bcz of this behavior u will see the rise in right wings all over the world where muslim lives.I am from india 🇮🇳 and a hindu , despite of indias partition by the muslims we still accepted muslims in our country, we have given equal rights to them and in some case more than hindus, freedom of religion and even to promote ur religion like they can literally convert people here. Still there are many muslim leaders in india openly abusing our hindu gods, calling for voilence, changing the demography, In school any religious symbols are not allowed and even hindus are not allowed with tilak in the forehead but muslims wants hijab to wear inside school,Some even say we will not say "Bharat mata ki jay " & "Vande matram " Bcz its against islam. Then u people say why there is rise in right wing in india 🇮🇳 . I think partition of india was a good step but congress secularism failed india. Our visionary leader Dr Ambedkar (He was the social reformer and aginst caste system and I am also against caste discrimination and wants to abolish it) who wrote the Constitution of india , he writes in his book "Despite of problem hindu society i.e caste system they fights for the reforms but a muslim will never fight for the reforms in islam and Muslims will always loyal to their religion not to the country in which they are living. Partition will be successful only if there will be full population exchange i.e all Muslim should go to Pakistan and all hindu and sikh to india ".I think he was absolutely right!

I was very patriotic when I was a kid, (still am pretty much), but with time I have learned to accept the flaws in over country. I moved to Spain with my family when I was 11 (got visa thank to my father) and when people used to ask me “will you get spains nationality” it was instant no, but now I have no doubt that I want to get my nationality, as it opens so much doors for me.

If you want to immigrate to a non-Muslim country be ready to assimilate into the host country as a citizen of the host country accepting its rules and laws while enjoying its freedom and privileges. Practice whatever religion you want peacefully without criticizing others especially the host country people who are now your neighbors. Islam was not the first religion nor last nor the best nor the worst. All religions have their own meaning and followers. Respect everyone equally as you wish to be respected. Once you come out of the religious bubble you will be much happier in life.

I had a client who bought a Dominican Republic passport in order to visit uk in order to manage his property portfolio but now Uk does not give them visa on arrival so his investment has gone down the drain.
Best option is what you suggested either open a business in the uk which we can help with or get a job, work here for 5 years, get a passport. Once you get a passport then you can go back.
Better to get 5 year experience get a passport and have a better life.

A Person (Muslim) with an income source being an online business they managed to hustle into using their phone and a Wi-Fi connection.
      (developing skills over a year).
and let's say said person had a Net worth of around 500k USD in Pakistan...
What if that person gets one of the Caribbean passports, Saint Kitts and Nevis preferably and then decides to settle in an EU country for 5 years,
      get their passport as well.
That's Multiple passports in a span of maximum 6 years.
plenty of experience, connections and leisure. Basically doing great.

    (cont'd....)
Just to add on my earlier comment:
IF a person really can spare $100,000 to $200,000 on a Passport then why not doing it in something that is more beneficial and constructive like:
    1. Founder Innovator Visa UK (migrant)
    2. Startup Visa Canada (migrant)
    3. E2 Visa USA (non-migrant but can lead to citizenship by naturalization via different routes)
I know a person who merely got the UK one with a business idea which was accepted by the British Authorities as innovative & scalable, and his pitch was to sell Herbal Vapes in UK which he was already buying from China and selling in UAE successfully.
Junaid Akram podcast and Q&A always force me to write such lengthy comments because the topics are so damn interesting and promote participation. Sir I know you since We've Had Enough (fb group) days and you've always been a good thread-starter.

One point - if one is getting a passport for travelling only then these Islands and certain European countries are fine. But if you want to enjoy quality of life, support from government in need, good education for kids etc. then they don’t work. Getting a passport only should not be a long term goal but living or reaping the benefits of citizenships like Canada or Australia - who have excellent education and healthcare should be the goal for long term well being of family. Additionally, the work ethics they in still and the benefit of working in a developed market is an underrated advantage

    Hi Junaid,
    Great conversation!
I my self a dual Citizen, living in U.S.
Got my citizenship by obtaining H1B visa back in 2003 from Pakistan, converted into Work Permit, than Green Card and finally Citizenship.
That entire journey from H1B to Citizenship took almost 16 long years.
By the grace of God Almighty, raised my both Karachi born kids here in U.S.
Definitely that way took whole lot more time but still I think it’s much better than buying a Passport of any so called Island.
Nothing wrong to get the Nationality of any good country if you can, get it without using unethical means.
Getting Nationality or the passport of any other privileged country doesn’t mean that you are a unpatriotic person.
Like in Pakistan, people generally stigmatized that with patriotism.
I love and fully respect both of my county of Citizenship.
I also face some time this problem. People one way or another try to express that it’s totally unpatriotic.
On the other hand, I consider PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 my Mother, who gave me birth and raised me (Was 31 when moved to US from my Motherland Pakistan) and AMERICA 🇺🇸 my Father, help me to stand firmly on my feet.
    Anyway, Love ❤️ your podcasts.
Please keep up your good work.
    God Bless you!
Lot of prayers and Good wishes. 😊❤️

U rightly said around 27:30, We in India also get stuck with the stream that we select when we have little maturity about our career. The same case was with me when I was 16-17 and chose commerce after 10th. Now I am a CA, but I find my work quite boring. But I can't go back and do something else. This is the work that I'm gonna have to do my entire life because when I was 16-17 years old - I took this life decision. I wasn't mature enough to anticipate what I was gonna do with the rest of my life, and what an education stream would bring to me in next 15-20 years. Humare yahan bachhon ko hi keh diya jata hai ki apna future bachpan me hi decide kar lo.

Turkey is the best alternative if you can afford it. They offer citizenship through real estate purchase. You can live in a modern environment (European/westernized culture), hear Azaan, affordability similar to desi countries and no issues with education and healthcare. But there is a price to this option - you need to learn turkish language and you need to build a business' that brings in an income from outside the country / or have other passive income source as they don't have sufficient jobs. Also a misleading thing you stated in this podcast is that price crash in Turkey, the real estate in Turkey is linked to USD and despite the crash in the Lira the values have only gone up, so those who invested there have not lost anything. Also Turkey's passport is basically free as you can sell your real estate and cash out. It is a good alternative many in the middle east (myself included) are considering, as it does not require us to leave our current jobs and migrate to a new country in the west (Canada/Australia). If you have a set career here, good pay, established family and the only reason for migrating is to get a better passport then don't waste 4-5 years of your life restarting your career in Canada/UK/Australia, only to come back to Dubai, Saudi, etc. Those lost years you will not get back!

The ayat you talked about (49:14) is from Surah Maaidah [5] where after a Sahaabi (Hazrat Ubaadah Bin Saamit RA) expressed his decision to cut all ties with Jewish and Christian friends which were many, the reason being that after the conquest of Badr the Jews of Medinah showed hostility and said we will show you our power when you fight with us, you've only won against the mediocre forces of Maccans. So when Hazrat Ubadah Bin Saamit RA said that, at the same time a Hypocrite (Abdullah Bin Ubai) expressed himself as someone with foresight and he will keep those friendships as he may get an advantage for keeping them. At this point Nabi SAW said that Abdullah Bin Ubai has done a very lossy deal compared to Hazrat Ubaada Bin Saamit RA.
That's the point when these verses were revealed where a categorical (not just contextual) verdict was given by Allah SWT. That they can't be your friends so don't take them as your friend, they are friends on one another (against you).
However, this doesn't remove the possibility of having business/professional relationships with them or even treating them with good gesture and nicely though (as long as they aren't hostile against you) , as that's a different dimension.

It's perplexing and somewhat dishonest for someone to gain citizenship in a Western country, yet not find the society fit for living, especially if they deeply value religious teachings hence “honesty” being an integral part of it. It's a form of contradiction that doesn't align with the principles they claim to uphold. This behavior can inadvertently contribute to the problem of stereotypes, making it harder for Muslims and Pakistanis to integrate. It's surprising that Junaid, often vocal about such issues, didn't mention this. It's an important aspect to consider for anyone who values integrity and wishes to live harmoniously in a society different from their own.
