I purchased a new MG HSE Exclusive plug-in hybrid September 2021. It’s exceptional in every way, fabulous build quality, lots of technology, drives beautifully in both electric and with the engine engaged. Excellent performance and seamless gear changes in all conditions. I also like the setting for keeping it in electric mode and not using the engine as I make full use of the free electric charging points. The MG is quiet, efficient, has a great driving position and has an extremely safe feel about it as it’s supported by so many safety features. No road tax, 7 year 70,000 mile full manufacture warranty and roadside assistance proves they are confident of the reliability and build quality. If you do decide to buy one go for the red leather interior as it’s just stunning and beautifully finished.
Best car I have ever driven for the money, this one is definitely a keeper.

I just ordered an MG ehs plug-in hybrid luxury, and I am very exited and almost cant wait the last 3 weeks of delivery, u have built a super car for a guy that measures 200cm tall, i can Even sit behind myself, loads of space... And so what if it cant heat on electricity, it can still cool you down in the summer without using the petrol engine... GO MG!!! YOU DID GOOD!!!

I am planning to buy a plug in hybrid. I would like to use only EV mode for short trips in the town. When I did a test drive on a cold day (-10 C), it seems the car got help from the engine even I set only on EV mode. How to address this?

I have test driven one, very well spec’ed car and good to drive, but, and it’s a very big BUT, I wouldn’t buy one because it won’t drive in pure EV mode if you turn on the heater or AC. I have a regular commute of 12 miles. Defeats the objective of the EV mode. MG, what are you think of?

Having bought a zs ev few months ago I feel cheated with it having steam gauges when a plug in hybrid has a glass cockpit.
Is MG Denmark offering free charging in public charging networks ? That was atleast the impression I got when I look your DK website.
Hi, for this question you have to contact the Danish distributor. They can provide you with more information.
Thankfully, we still use miles in the UK - and people know how tall they are in feet & inches.
I’m very satisfied with my new MG EZ full Electric car. however this new plug in hybrid looks great and seams bigger, can’t wait for driving it. When is coming to France? Is the 7 year guarantee applicable to cars delivered just recently like mine just got four weeks back ?
Hi Gerardo, we expect to launch the hybrid in France very soon, but we can't share an exact date yet.
For the guarantee we recommend you to get in touch with your local MG dealer. They can provide you with the right information and options.
I think the biggest issue, in Denmark at least, is that the service centers are only in a few locations. I would have to spend one and a half hour just to reach a service center and then one and a half hour back.
This could sadly be the dealbreaker for me, even though I had already set my mind on the EHS.
We understand this could be a problem for you. Hopefully, there will be more service points in the future. We will share your feedback internally.
What’s about a mobile service like Tesla Rangers?
Design, brand, compliance work and marketing in Europe but manufacture in China. This has been the success formula for other small product such home appliance for decades. The formula also work for car making industry as proven by MG SAIC. Just work out petrol cost 10 dollar per 100 km while electric is 2.5 dollars for a similar car in Australia.

At the moment we are exploring the opportunities for Croatia. We are building the brand carefully and step-by-step in Europe. Not every country is occupied for BEV-vehicles yet.
I would buy this if it could drive in EV mode only. If you fix this issue MG, I would buy this car (Denmark).

@@alexga7385 This is not possible, Alex. A hybrid always uses petrol and electric power. If you want a completely electric car, you have to choose an EV. You can drive a hybrid in electric mode only, but then you have to make sure you charge in time.
@@MGMotorEurope That is not true. Hybrid cars like kuga, bmw i3,/i4, niro and many others can all drive EV mode and still heat up the car in cold weather. The entire idea of a plugin hybrid is pointless if you cannot drive to work in EV mode and still get some heat on.
You can drive in ev only mode Alex. 30 to 40 miles.
