Anything you recommend better than D8? I want one that does nearly all. Xtool is known for having special functions that not work on all vehicles. When it comes to key programmimg, if the original key never hard key remote start, is there a way to write the functionality? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
To add remote start function mostly requires oem software with j2534 maybe some vehicles can be done with regular diagnostic tools. And it all depends on what you want if you need mostly done key programming then d9 with all emulators and accessories make it good choice i done 2019 dodge all key lost and nissan 2018 all key lost within minutes it also supports good spacial functions but when it comes to real spacial function like calibrations etc i chose autel

Launch has good tools on some vehicles you need to enter vin manually . It depends on what kind of work you need from tool in my case one brand doesn't work i always have combinationof two brand
@@CarFaults BOYED I did do that mate and it still could not find the vin number on my ford focus mk3 titanium x diesel so I sent it back to ebay there a lad on you tube here and hes from England UK and he got a topdon phoenix plus and he sent me the link looks pretty good BOYED and my other Friend has the launch euro tab 3 its amazing tool 🔧
If you are looking for good quality tool and price doesn't matter then go with autel 2024 maxisys elite 2 pro its also on offer right now on aliexpress
Yes if you are serious about your business like need ADAS tire sensors benz coding then go with autel Obd device on launch dead anytime after 1 year but autel works even for 6 years no issues
I own the D9S pro The only issue I have with it is I wish the vci DB15 cable was longer. It's only about 2 ft long and I wish it was longer so I could set the vci on top of the dash to get it out of the way. I tried explaining this to tech support and can tell you this , send pics and good luck explaining it.
Me too. Putting it on the dash would probably ensure a better/longer WiFi link, too. I'll bet there's an aftermarket source for something like this. There's no special signal conditioning in the Xtool cable so as long as the connector pinouts were correct, you'd be OK... Or, you could just insert an extension cable of your choice: USB or DB15.
