Brilliant Martin. Enjoying this very much. I am new to your vlogs but am going back through the old ones to see what you have been up to. Hope your weekend is good. So,I dad like lovely jollies. Tree is super. 🎄
Mum and i had our first mulled wine of this season. We had been to watch my granddaughter in her gymnastics show and came home cold. So what else but a yummy mulled wine to warm up with 🍷 If you need anymore toy stuffing let me know as i bought some ages ago and when it arrived it was a huge bag/sack of the stuff 🙈🤣🙈🤣🙈. You are more than welcome to have some xx
Beautifully decorated tree! I love all the beverages from the mulled wine, coffee etc. I found you during the MKAL and always look forward to your vlogs/podettes/podcasts. You have mad skills!
Martyn you and Mark have a beautiful tree. The lights always resulted of in a roe (how I spelled that right, in the US we would say an “Argument” which sounds so serious) in our house. Over the years the family has decided just to wait for me to do them myself, they have given up trying to “help”. I realize that this makes me sound really bossy. I guess when it comes to lights, I must be. I wasn’t sure if the crochet part would interest me but the mystery is fun!
Your tree looks lovely! Enjoyed seeing some of your unique ornaments up close!! The Toft project is quite interesting. The green kinda suggests some sort of tropical bird.....maybe???
Love vlogmas so far and it is nice to see Mark in the video..."hi Mark...nice to see you!" :) Beautiful tree guys...a little bit dissapointed not to see the knitted baubles in the tree but hey...you can't get it all! :P
Martyn your tree is beautiful! It’s so fun to see how the advent is starting…..always enjoy your videos but these shorter visits are just enjoyable this time of year. Thank you for doing them! See you next time
Thanks for explaining the white yarn! I'm a knitter who occasionally crochets so that's not something I'd come across before. I really love all your videos, quite tempted to go to Big Moose next time I'm in Cardiff to try and spot a Martyn in the wild 🤣
Yeah you definitely need more coffee haha, there was also a "vlogtober" instead of vlogmas in there. Dates are still confusing you a bit too But so lovely you two with the tree! And Mark now seems to know when he should wave without you telling him? Mulled wine is the best - I tend to do a bit more, most of the time it's just wine, water, a tea bag and spoon of sugar and sometimes I add some tangerine wedges when I think they are too dry to eat them or I'm not in the mood for fruit but have to get rid of them. This time it's no tree here because of the still little and still annoyingly active cat in the house. Just too much risk and not worth the hassle. Even with only electric lightening of course. I loved our strawberry and now I'm curious with all the markers and the one finished piece what will be next. And say hello to Mark from me - sleeping long is the best, I'm also grumpy in the mornings (those where I have to get our of bed)!
Thank you for answering my question! And demonstrating were the guide yarn goes. That was really helpful. I do crochet blankets and different types of granny squares and indeed it can be tricky to define starting point, but haven't seen this method.
Your tree looks beautiful. And it’s great to see Mark on camera a bit more. “Foghorn Leghorn bellow” 😂😂😂 That nearly made me choke on my iced tea from laughing so hard. I’m so enjoying your humor, Martyn!
Yes I am loving the "mini series" - the drama, the excitement, the tantalising Toft tease - all of it! Great job on the tree. I love the way it reflects in the windows. I love seeing Mark as well. Thank you Martyn! xx
Loving your podcasts Martyn🧶🧶your tft crochet is always fab 😀been to my fave yarn shop today ippikin in much wenlock great shop. Xmas fayre was on today was great as always and of course more yarn was purchased 😳where will i hide it with all prezzies to hide also 😂😂xx
Goodness me.. I go down my lane with my saw in hand and when I come to a pine that looks nice I cut it off at the base and take it home. It soaks in a bucket of water for a day or so and then into a bucket of wet sand where it stays. Nothing like living in rural Australia.,
I loved watching you two decorate the tree and love the idea of watching "Christmas Vacation/National Lampoon" as you do it. Nice looking tree. Great job all around on your decorating. And I'm always enjoying Mark putting in an appearance.
Oh Martyn did you get the wrong sized crates? I have learned that however I plan my cupboards or shelves or boxes that just as I think I have it right - I add 1 more. Funny how that too gets filled up pretty quickly as I use it as my overspill (new yarn with no project or timeline in mind). Loving the CAL , I’m thinking some sort of Parrott (in my garden I’m looking at a rosella at present same green head? 🤔). Enjoy the birthday party and baby shower. Thanks from Australia 🐨🦘😷
Does anyone's yarn fit in their designated space? Mine certainly doesn't any more. Too many projects and never too much yarn. Love the little elf. Take care and keep safe. xxJane
Hi Martyn, I laughed when you said “my yarn doesn’t fit in the crates”, mine doesn’t fit in my space either, but I’m on my own, although I do need to be aware of the cat getting into it.
Lovely tree Martyn. Ours isn't up yet, maybe tomorrow. We also have the tree light debate evey year! Why is it necessary to put so many lights on? My arigurumi tomte has a hat! Need to attempt the body again! 🎄🌈
Interesting way of marking the end of the round. I use a hair grip and slide it through the last stitch as I crochet it. Haven’t made a amigirumi in ages so need to get my patterns out. Need to make some toys!!
Hi Martyn, Sumptuous tree, and luxurious box, what will you use it for when the advent is finished? Lovely bright green and progress keeper (sorry centraliser) to match! On to the next x
Hi, Martin! I love your tree. Thanks for sharing your Toft Advent... it’s such fun🎄✨

Your tree is the perfect size for the space.
Your Christmas tree decorations are great - color and style. Really like the yellow "round flowers". The Bird is interesting.
It reminds me of an elf! Your tree is lovely.
Love your vibe!!! 🐑♥️🐑♥️🐑
Your tree is spectacular ❤️🎄
Love your elf 😀😍

Enjoyed this vlog Martyn! Don't we all have a corner where we keep our 'secret' stash ;-)
Thanks Martyn! Love the video. When I look at mine I think tomato colors
Love the tree
Martyn, you just need more crates. This is not a problem. (Says the girl who bought another bin for her newest yarn!)
thank you so much for bringing more joy my way

I've got a "parrot" feeling coming upon me.....
Thank you! Haven’t crochet in years! Was fun to watch. Happy Vlogmas!!
Martyn buy some cheap pillows the ones that go on your bed and use them for stuffing. That what I do. Here in Western Australia 🇦🇺💜🧶
Martyn your tree is beautiful! It’s so fun to see how the advent is starting…..always enjoy your videos but these shorter visits are just enjoyable this time of year. Thank you for doing them! See you next time
I think we all have the problem fitting our yarn in crates or boxes no matter how big they are 😊 Love the emerald green wool. Happy crafting.

Please message me if you ever come to Cardiff I’d love to meet you at Big Moose for a coffee! :)

Just done day 4 on my Toft advent while watching this, loving crocheting along with you, I now see a strawberry or tomato tho 😂

Just had to google it for fun and apparently there is a bird called the strawberry finch so you might be right, hehe

LOVE your Christmas tree! Sending lots of love, Juliane.
Is that your balcony in the background xxx
Hi Martyn,
Sumptuous tree, and luxurious box, what will you use it for when the advent is finished?
Lovely bright green and progress keeper (sorry centraliser) to match! On to the next x
Is it a robin redbreast xxx
Could it be santas sack ???
Is it ok if we guess what we think it is?
Maybe it’s the grinch
This looks like a Santa sack...is there a bird associated with Christmas anyone? So enjoy watching you and glimpses into your and mark's life
Or is it an elf ????
Are you sure it's an animal? Maybe it's an elf.
